"Hello, Sir, I'm Joesylin Lone, and I'll be your server this evening," I said to a man with black hair and kind, brown eyes, giving him a menu. "What would you like to drink?" I asked, pulling out a pen and a note pad. I moved a piece of hair out of my face, while I waited for him to look at the menu and tell me what he wanted.
"The usual and pronto," he said, not looking at the menu. He looked at me, as if he was waiting for me to scurry off and get whatever he usually got to eat. He had a beard on his face, so his smile was hiding underneath it. He looked away from me, waiting for me to scurry off. After a few minutes, he looked at me, seeing that I was still there. He raised an eyebrow. "Well?" he asked. "Aren't you going to go and get me my food?"
"Ummm... I'm sorry, Sir, but I don't know what your usual for your drink or food is. This is my first day on the job. Could you please tell me what you would like, so I would know for future references." I bit my lip, not knowing what to do. I mean, couldn't he at least help me by saying what he wanted and not giving me a look as if saying 'really'? I was getting nervous with him staring at me and hoped that someone would come save my ass.
"Joes, do you know how to speak any languages?" Shannon asked, coming over towards us. Her brown eyes were filled with worry. Her black hair was kind of frazzled, because there was something wrong. She glanced around, probably looking for someone else, if I couldn't help out.

Thank you, I said silently, glancing at her. My body relaxed slightly, because I was able to get out of this awkward situation. I frowned, not knowing why she wanted to know that information. I raised an eyebrow, confused on why she wanted to know what I speak. "Uh... ya, I can speak multiple languages, because my father had taught me to do so. Why do you ask?"
"Our translator is sick and no one can speak any other language. Well, I can speak Mandarin, but this dude doesn't speak it."
"And, how does this apply to me?"
"Can you speak German?"
"Yes..."
"Good, then come with me," she said, grabbing hold of my arm. She looked at the male, smiling at him. "I'll get your usual, Mr. Ham," she added, dragging me towards where ever we were having to go. "In a bit, after we had dealt with this person, who is trying to create a scene." She called over her shoulder, still dragging me away from him.
I looked at him, nervously. So, this was the guy that I had to see, because my father had told me to see him. Hopefully, he could tell me where my father was and what had happened. I just hoped nothing bad had happened to my father, because I did need him.
Yes, I didn't want to know about our past, but he was still my dad. I did love him, even though we argued almost about everything, because I was a hothead like him. I did inherit his auburn hair and green eyes.
He winked and nodded as if to say 'I'll see you later'. He turned around, not giving me a second glance.
I nodded slowly and let Shannon drag me away from his table. I turned around, wanting to know where we were going. I was curious on what she wanted me to do, even though I did say that I could speak the language that she was wanting me to speak.

With the finding of Michael Ham, well that was really easy to do. However, I didn't know why I had to find him. He wasn't lost. But, I wasn't sure why he didn't tell me who he was. I mean, my dad did say that he was a friend, and he would help me with whatever I needed.
Problem was solved, though. Because, I did find him like my father had said that I would find him. Or, he might've found me.
Well, fate probably had something to do with that. I mean, the whole job thing did seem like it was planned to me. It felt as if my whole life was planned, and I was something bigger than a loner at high school.
