Y/n and Ashtray felt like doing absolutely nothing. They decided to chill and watch movies since Fez was out with Lexi. Y/n was also pretty hungover from a party and she was incredibly tired, Ash of course noticed this. He'd seen her struggling to stay awake.
"Y/n?" He asked, he was getting a drink from the fridge and was gonna ask his girlfriend if she wanted one but when he got no reply, he turned around to see her head tilted to the side, struggling to keep it up. He put his cold drink down and walked over to her, shaking her awake.
"Hmm?" She murmured and Ash sat down next to her and pulled her onto his lap. "Ash?" She mumbled and he kissed her forehead. "Just go to sleep, i'll wake you up later, baby" he whispered to her, planting a kiss to her forehead. She smiled up at him before snuggling into his chest, falling into a deep sleep.
Ashtray didn't mind it when Y/n fell asleep on him, he would stay there all night just holding her. Sometimes, he'd even fall asleep with her.
When Fez came back from his day with Lexi, he noticed his brother cuddling Y/n on the couch and smirked. "Bro you're a softie for her" he teased and laughed, and it was too loud for Ash's liking. "Shut the fuck up, she's sleeping!" The boy snapped, rubbing his girlfriends back when she moved a little. "Yo, chill bro-" Fez replied, still smirking.
"You're whipped for her though" he teased one last time before heading to the bathroom to take a shower. Ashtray rolled his eyes and glared at him as he walked away. All his annoyance went away when he glanced down at the girl he adored, a smile rose on his face, nobody but Fez and Y/n saw that smile.

Fez came out the shower and demanded Ashtray to take Y/n to bed so him and Ash can watch something without having to be quiet but Ash wasn't having it. "No- what if i wake her?" He whispered aggressively and Fez rolled his eyes before letting out a scream, making Y/n jump awake. Ash looked at the girl who was now wide awake.
Fez was laughing his ass off. "I'll be back, pretty girl. FEZ YOU'RE A DEAD MAN!" Ash yelled the last part and chased after Fez while Y/n sat on the couch in pure confusion. She shrugged her shoulders and went to get a cold drink before sitting down and watching Netflix. Fez and Ash casually walked into the room and sat down.
Ash sat next to Y/n and pulled her onto his lap. Ash was glancing at Fez which made Y/n confused. Fez groaned and sighed in defeat. "I'm sorry for waking you, Y/n" he said. Y/n smiled with a laugh. "You don't have to apologise Fez, i had to wake up anyway" she replied and leaned into Ash's chest.
"Ash made me do it-" he exclaimed.
"Did not, you're just sooo nice that you felt the need to apologise" Ash protested with a smirk.
"Bro, shut the fuck up"
"No, you"
Y/n sat there as the brothers bickered with each other but she couldn't help the smile that was growing on her face. Ash made Fez apologise for waking her, thats how much he cared about her health and well being. Ashtray was for sure a softie in disguise.

Rules to keep me honest for the perk system: Spoiler: Spoiler 1. The purpose of perks is to help the MC live longer and do new things each life. 2. The perks can be unlocked by getting hurt or killed. 3. The perks can be unlocked by putting in a lot of effort that isn’t easily duplicated in a new life. 4. Perks are generally beneficial enhancements to the MC’s body. 5. Perk costs can be lowered with more impressive achievements to unlock them. 6. Perk costs can be lowered by repeated death or injury from something the perk protects against. 7. Perk costs are increased for quality of life improvements that don’t benefit survival. I want to avoid one of the pitfalls I see for other LitRPG stories where the game elements barely relate to the story, or offer very little information. If people are skipping over and not reading the perks then I'm doing things wrong. Flame Beneath The Snowfall
Alto is a world governed by Tones. Magic, as one might call it. Manifested through deep mental and physical conditioning, one can control the Tones in a way that is unique to them. The power to store items in gems, transfer life, affect a person's mind, and even the more primal abilities such as control of the elements. Those who have these supernatural abilities are called 'Vassals.' People that fully manifest their abilities are not as common as one might think, and not all Vassals acquire their ability through practice, given if conditions are met. In fact, those who had received much trauma manifest the Tones more frequently, albeit spontaneously. However, the rare kind of Vassals are those who manifest it from childhood. A gift, but not without its repercussions. Alto is stuck in a transitional era, where the line between modern and dated technology is blurred. One can travel to a city that has a tall skyline, bustling with people in sophisticated clothing, or a mere town governed by a lord, all the while riding on a powered vehicle. Cultures vary: Some turn to the more dated practices such as castes, others are more inclined to set equal footing on their people, led by nobility. Some are dedicated to become scholars, studying Alto's Tones, while others set foot on hunts, protecting lone towns from the creatures of some of the still-untamed lands. And the Vassals? Those willing are took under The Organization, an elusive group, its presence said to permeate all throughout Alto, taking care of Rogue Vassals that abuse their abilities and other businesses related to their side. But what is this story all about, you may ask? Well, set your sights on the upper portions of this huge landmass that is Alto. Yes, the 'whole' world is called Alto, but that is because the majority of the known people live on this large continent. Relieve yourself of the worrying tensions everywhere, and see the white snow. Trace the piercing mountaintops and focus your eyes between the valley. A town sits there. Mido. After realizing that the memories only left in his mind was the night of his town's imminent destruction in flames, a boy finds himself grasping for every fiber of his life as he lays down flat on the ground. Beneath him was soot mixed with the white snow. Fortunately, a group of investigators, who were supposed to answer their call for help, saved him from his sorry state. With a newfound second wind, but hampered by his loss of memory, he must solve his own case: Who had the audacity to set Mido, his town, aflame? Flame Beneath the Snowfall focuses on action, with a sense of adventure, but mostly the discovery of an outside world, and the protagonist's exposure to it. Add in a whisk of soft magical elements, and you get a story that I hope will be interesting to the readers. That is not to say that my work is without the sense of unnerving atmosphere, however. As a forewarning, there are elements of gore, horror, minor elements of mental trauma, etc. so it is not for all audiences. *The book is already completed. Although I have plans to continue the story (it would have to involve much larger scope in terms of world-building), I have yet to decide when to start the next entry.
