You knew otis very well, he was a good friend and you grew a crush on him. He lived in the motel across from you and no doubt could he hear the screams of your mum when she yells at you.
The whole argument started when your mother simply told you not to hang out with- and in her words- that 'Otis boy' you couldn't believe that she was telling you to get rid of your only friend ever...
"All you could've said was 'yes, i wont talk to him again mum' but not you're making it difficult!" She yelled in your face and you glared at her.
Tears ran down your cheeks yet you couldn't care less. "Im not getting rid of the only person who cares for me!" You yelled back, voice cracking noticeably; you rubbed the tears away but your mum smacked them down and slapped you across the face. Hard. You knew it would form a bruise.
"DONT FUCKING TOUCH ME!" You shouted, your throat sore from all the fighting. You let out sobs, head hurting from all of it too. "Oh will you stop the crying, suck it up and stay away from otis lort, do i make myself clear?" Your mum said, her voice dangerously low; but were you afraid? Nope.
"No, im not going to stay away from Otis, like i've told you before- he's the only one who fucking cares! I hate you, i hate everyone, stay out of my motherfucking life" and thats when you stormed out. Everyone outside looked at you and stared but you just carried on heading to the pool.
When you got there, you saw Otis chilling by the pool. He was shirtless and his feet were resting in the cool water. You let out a small cry expecting it to be quiet but of course, the curly haired boy heard it. He rapidly turned and when he saw your face..his face grew concerned.

He carefully made his way to you and gently pulled you into his arms; resting his head on yours. "What happened?" He whispered softly, you let out small sobs. "My mu-mum" you stuttered and started crying again, he gently shushed you and began swaying you both back and forth.
After you calmed down, he took you back to his motel- luckily his dad wasn't there. You both cuddled on his bed; you resting your head on his warm bare chest as he traced circles into your skin
"Sh-she doesn't want m-me to hang out with yo-you.." you admitted and buried your head into the crook of his neck. "B-but i ca-cant leave yo-you!" You said and he cradled your head to his chest.
"I know, i know..i dont want to leave you either. So you're gonna stay with me from now on okay? My dad wont be here for awhile, so i want you to stay understand?" He explained, pressing gentle kisses to your cheeks and caressing them softly. "T-thank you" you murmured and he lifted your chin so You could look at him.
"I love you, okay?" He said, his tone was serious yet so soft. You smiled and he did too. "I love you more" You replied- y'all weren't even together but after this, you consider yourself a young couple.

Morcster Chef: Reckoning
Adventurers flock to massive crypts brimming with riches and promises of power. Heroes storm the gates of dark fortresses, their swords drawn in the name of freedom. Gods tear the heavens asunder, clashing over the fate of the realm itself. Arek cooks lasagna and tops it with a dash of finely chopped basil. Arek never wanted to fight again, but his plans have gone awry in the best way possible. After joining the Happy Sunflowers as their cook, Arek quickly grew attached to his new friends and party. After escaping a strange dungeon by the skin of their teeth, the group find themselves plunged into a struggle for power that has simmered beneath the kingdom for dozens of years. The strange power that has entered Arek and Ming seems to be spreading to the rest of the party, and none of them know what it wants. Arek's past barks at his heels, but he has no plans of going back to the person he used to be. The future seems uncertain, but there is one thing the orc knows for sure. He has meals to prepare, and, this time, nobody is going to kill his friends. All the recipes in this book are real recipes that I have personally made. The actual recipes will be included at the end of the chapter, and I highly encourage everyone reading to try them out. In addition, make sure to check out the Morcster Chef comic at this link! Morcster Chef: Reckoning is the 2nd book in the Morcster Chef series. You can read the first one on RoyalRoad at THIS link. IMPORTANT NOTE: Morcster Chef is a comedy / fantasy novel. It has equal parts cooking and Dungeons & Dragons style adventuring. It does not have: an OP / bitter protagonist, harems, excessively dark topics, or a depressing storyline. // DUNGEON Mechanics will start to appear around chapter 100+/Arc 3 of the story! \ Avan, a 25-year-old young man, is torn from his rather boring life. He awakens in Aorus, a world full of magic, monsters and dungeons. By a stroke of luck and an ominous skill called "Potential", he awakens a new class never seen before called Dungeonheart (Human). Dungeons, although sentient, are never sapient nor mobile. Join Avan as he pursues his passion for healing and martial arts, and building his very own dungeon at the same time. He’s the hybrid of a moving dungeon and a healer. "Healing Dungeon" will include City building, strategy, very little romance, exploration of the world of Aorus, and a touch of power levelling. (There are elements from other fantasy novels, as well as anime, games, and more). What will all be possible with a dungeon that can move, but still brings some of the familiar dungeon mechanics along for its journey? -- Please note that the beginning and thus the first chapters were really my first writing works in english, and can only be rewritten at a later time (lack of time in favor for new chapters) --(The writing style and also the story improves VERY much from the 12th chapter at the latest! Proofreading is available, but I depend on any well-intentioned advice from you guys). If you have any questions, suggestions, constructive criticism, or just because you feel like it, feel free to leave me a comment below the respective chapters! For every positive and serious review or rating, I am infinitely grateful! ;) I am a creature of few words and the beginning is therefore a little faster than I would have liked it now in retrospect. Please do not expect huge paraphrases and descriptions of the environments, but only what is really necessary to get into the scene. Cheers and hopefully see you in the comment section.

Jason loved to play dungeon games. The feeling of power to govern over a kingdom of monsters brought him utter deligth. Now his dream will come true and he will become a Dungeon Lord himself. Will he prevail or will the self depicted Lord go under along with his new found home. This is my first fiction and english is not my native. Just to have you warned. With this I want to do a little experiment, if anyone has an idea or wants to see something happen (for example some kind of monster or adventurer to show up etc) write in the comments and maybe I'll integrate it into the story if it fits.

"Like a treasure map in a bottle, We were slowly drifting apart, Mother Nature sailing our purpose out to sea, The more I got to know you, I realised how much of a hoax your devotion was, Almost as fake as the smile I paint across my shattered face."This collection of poetry releases trauma in the form of expression - mainly the words I could never build up the courage to say. Most of these poems present conflict of the mind and allude to mental health struggles, which may be relatable to a certain community of people.Ranks -#3 in poem#3 in poembook#8 in poetry collection #7 in sadpoems#6 in poemcollection #7 in wisdom #15 in poetic
