I was heading back to where my dear girlfriend, Sarah Fier was buried. Only my friends and i knew where her body lay, nobody else deserved to know, apart from Sarah's father of course. I kneeled down beside her grave with a single flower, setting it gently on top of it. A tear ran down my cheek as i placed my hand on the dirt.

"" I whispered, more tears escaped my y/e/c eyes. I was never able to share a kiss with her. My mother kept a close eye on me whether it was daytime or nighttime. I wiped a few of my tears before looking down at the grave again. "" i murmured, letting out all my sobs.

I heard leaves crunch behind me and immediately turned around only to face Abigail. She smiled softly, but a hint of sympathy was in there. "I know the pain...i miss my dear sister Constance very much" she whispered, sitting next to me, staring at her best friends grave. I nodded, i missed Constance too, she was a lovely girl.

"But...i know how much you loved Sarah, and it was unfair that nobody could accept that, especially your mother and father" the girl pointed out, reaching her hand out and grabbing my hand. I looked at her, vision blurry from the crying. Tears were also running down Abigails face. "She sacrificed herself for me..." I whispered. Abigail nodded "It showed how much she truly loved you. She had the chance of life or death...and she chose death so you could live, she was a true hero"

I smiled at Abigail's words, it was true...too true. Even though Sarah and I didn't get our happy ending...we didn't get to kiss in broad daylight, we still had memories together...i will die knowing Sarah died for me and we'll reunite in heaven. I looked at Abigail and pulled her into a hug, she instantly returned it. "I'm still sorry for your loss" she mumbled and i nodded "Im sorry for yours too" I replied, thinking how horrible it must've been to loose a family member who was so young.

Abigail and i stayed up for the rest of the night, telling each other stories of Sarah and Constance, it was emotional, funny and amazing. For the first time since Sarah's death, i was happy.
