I knew that liking someone the same gender was considered a sin, or as Mad Thomas says, welcoming the devil to our land. This was unfair and horrible due to the fact that Abigail and i were secretly dating. All our friends know, but not any of our family members or neighbours.
I feel like something terrible will happen to either Abigail or me...but if one of us has to be burned or hanged, I'm taking the blame. Because I'm not allowing Abigail to leave me to deal with this horrible world without her presence near me. I loved her, no matter if we couldn't be together.

What I'm hoping for is for Abigail to take a risk. I didn't want her to leave me because our lives are on the line, she's the only girl i wanna be with. I can't let her give up on us. She'd say to me "Y/n, we can't risk our lives..they'll hang us" her sweet accent makes my heart melt.
"So? We'll let them hang us...Abigail, i love you okay" would always be my reply. The girl would always smile at me immediately making me smile wider. Shes , my , and i need her. I just know something bad will happen, i know why...i know exactly why. Thinking of Abigail everyday drives me crazy but in an amazing way, shes on my mind 24/7. Even when I'm around her, I cant help but stare, often getting caught and teased by Lizzie or Isaac.
But no matter what happens, no matter who judges or sees Abigail and i together, hangs us both for simply loving each other...Abigail will always be my girl, and i'll be hers
