Shining awoke with Spike still cuddled close to his chest. He smiled a bit and put his hooves around him. He was so small. Way smaller than Cadence and so easy to hold. He was warm, too. Shining kissed him on the forehead. Spike's eyes fluttered opened.

"Morning, Baby," Shining smiled at him.

"Morning Shiny Whiny~," Spike yawned and cooed to him.

Shining sat up and watched Spike crawl into his lap. Spike looked up to him, nose to nose. Spike blushed like mad and kissed him. The first between them. Actually, it was Spike's first kiss in general. Shining gasped through the kiss and hesitantly kissed back. He kept telling himself that it was for the studies. But who was he kidding? He loved Spike. The last few days with him had been so amazing. He passionately kissed back, putting his hooves on Spike's waist as Spike brought his hands to Shining's shoulders. They kissed, sloppily, before Spike pulled away for air.

"W-Wow!" Spike gasped .

"Yeah," Shining mumbled.
