Chapter 4:Taste of Giving In....To Temptation!

I got to the window and opened it to find out what or who was making that noise. I couldn't see anyone right off the back so I stuck my head out the window for a better look as soon as I did that I saw Lash's face as he streched his neck up to my window.

"Hey Mary!" he said scareing me half to death and forcing a scream out of me.

"Star?...Are you ok?" I heard my dad yell from downstairs followed by footsteps running up the stairs.

Oh No! This is not good, my dad hates Lash and wants to kill him ever since we broke up. Dad can't see him! I turned to worn Lash and tell him to leave but he wasn't there.

"Star you ok?" I heared Amy say as her and my dad opened the door.

I turned to face them and saw a worried dad and a confused Amy. I couldn't tell the truth and give Lash a death sentence from my dad, I had to lie.

"Yeah I'm fine it's just that I saw a spider over here." I told them trying to catch my breathe from the scream.

"What were you doing over there?" Amy asked.

"It got a little too warm in here, I was going to open the window for some cool fresh air." I said hoping she'd believe my lie.

"You ok now?" my dad asked.

"Yeah I killed the spider after I screamed." I said walking towards them hoping to get them to leave and go back downstairs.

"Ok well you sure you're not hungry?" my dad asked stepping out into the hall and pointing down the stairs.

"Yes dad I'm fine, thank you two for checking on me. But I'm fine I'm just gonna make sure the spider is dead then go back to bed and sleep some more." I said putting my hand on my door ready to close it as soon as they were both in the hall.

"Ok then. Well if you decided you want food we'll put in the microwave for you. Love you baby girl." My dad said kissing my forehead. Then headed back down the stairs to the dinning room.

"Love you too Daddy!' I yelled to him as he walked down.

"Awe can I kiss you're forehead to?" Amy asked.

"No sorry I'm good." I told her laughing a little.

"Fine...well be careful with that spider don't want him too close to your lips...love you night and I'm gonna eat your food!" she said then rushed down the stairs.

"Um ok?" I said closing my door after I made sure they were both down the stairs and back in the dinning room.

"That was close!" I said turning around expecting to head towards the window to help Lash into my room.

Yet when I turned around Lash was right infront of me, I almost screamed again but Lash put his hand over my mouth to stop me.

"It's ok it's just me." He said removing his hand.

"Lash why are you here?" I said pushing him away as he still had one hand on my waist that I didn't notice at first until he moved his other hand from my mouth.

"Because I wanted to see you Mary....I Love you and I miss holding you so tight and kissing your lips." he said grabbing my waist with both hands this time. I pushed him away again.

"Lash Stop!"

"But Mary...I'm trying my best to change for you. I only bully 5 kids now instead of 10. I'm trying really hard to be a good guy...just for you."

"You are still bullying though!"

"I know Mary but if you only knew the real reason why then you might..."

"Tell me the real reason why then!" I said cutting him off.

"I can't!"

"Can't or Wont?"

"I can't! Look I hate hurting you like this and I wish I could stop and tell you why I'm doing this but I can't trust me if I could then I would!"

"Well why can't you tell me?" I asked still trying to be quiet so no one heard us.

"It's complicated....Mary you just gotta trust me. Please!"

"Why should I after everything you've put me through!" I was about to break down and cry and yell all at the same time untill I felt Lash's arms wrap around my waist.

Then I felt him put his hand under my chin and made me look up into his brown eyes.

"Because I'm sorry for everything, I love you and you still love me." he said with the same love in his eyes on our first date and first kiss.

I stood there shocked which just escalated when I felt his lips on mine. My mind was telling me not to give in to his kiss but my heart was louder and told me that I should give in because he was right that I do still love him. My heart was telling me to trust him to keep me safe from physical and emotional harm.

I couldn't fight against my heart any longer. I gave in and wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed back. He wrapped his arms tighter around my waist as I started to run my fingers through his hair. Then I started to hear something..no I was reading someone's mind.

"I know Star was liying about that spider because she wouldn't haved killed it...she would've gotten someone else to kill it....I bet Lash is up there. I know she has been liying about being over him. It's obvious that they still love each other...even though he is a jerk....I'm gonna go check on them...see if I can catch them making out and then get onto Star for giving in." it was Amy's thoughts.

I stopped kissing Lash and lightly pushed on his abs and took a step back.

"What's wrong? Is everything ok Mary?" he asked worriedly.

"You have to go. You have to leave now!" I said pushing him towards the window.

"What? Why?" He said stopping me as we got to the window.

"Because If my dad finds out you are here or that you were here then he will kill you. I don't want you dead! Now please go Lash!" I said lightly pushing him out the window. He did a back flip out. I stuck my head out afraid that I hurt him.

"Lash? Lash are you ok? I'm sorry I didn't mean to push you that hard out the window!" Then he streched up and kissed me again with a short and sweet kiss.

"It's ok. You didn't hurt me. I'm fine." he said when we stopped kissing.

"Good now go before you're dead!"

"Wait does this mean that you take me back?" he asked me.

"No...I mean I don't know!"

"What? That doesn't make anysense!" he said.

I heard footsteps right outside my door.

"We'll talk about this later now please go!" I said kissing him lightly on lips before I slammed my window shut and jumped into bed pulling the covers over me as my door opened and Amy walked in.

"Star?...I know you're not asleep...You better tell me everything...I know Lash was here. I overheard you say that you don't know if you take him back but you two will talk about it later....So tell me or I'll tell you're dad and then you're dad will kill him." she said sitting down next to me on the bed.

"Please don't tell my dad!" I begged sitting up.

"Then tell me everything!" she said all serious.

"Fine but don't tell anyone else including Ashley." I begged her again.

"I wont I promise." she told me. So I proceeded to tell her what had happened.

"Star!" She yelled at me.

"What?" I asked scared of her answer.

"Star don't go back to that Jerk! I know you love him and everything but he will hurt you again if you go back." she said hugging me to make sure that I didn't get mad at her and hit her in her stomach where her belly button piercing is.

"Amy it's hard not to go back to him. I still love him and he has changed. Not a lot but he has." I told her.

"I know Star but trust me. You're better off without him." she said hugging me tighter.

She went and took a shower and while she did that I cried myself to sleep thinking about who I should really trust. Amy, my best friend or Lash the heartbreaking ex that I still love and know that he might hurt me again. I have a big decision to make tomorrow.
