Virgil woke up in a hospital bed. He groaned. He drank almost the entire bottle right in front of Patton. Why the hell was he so stupid? The door to his room opened and he looked up. Remus stood in the doorway smirking.
"What the hell..." Virgil sat up.
"I told them in the paperwork I was your caretaker from now on, because I said we found you on the streets. They let me. I am also your legal guardian now, that was a very tiring effort but I got them to give me the paperwork and after filling it all out I am exhausted, but now you are my legal son!" Remus walked over and sat down besides Virgil. Virgil moved away.
"You are fucking crazy! What makes you think I won't speak up about this?!" Virgil glared. Remus just laughed.
"I let the others go." He shrugged. "And I didn't tell them that I did this, and you better not say a word. You will now be staying with me. Just not at that house we were, because they will come looking for you there. I have a new place far from here that I'm taking you." Remus smiled. "I'm so happy!"
"Again, you are fucking psychotic." Virgil growled. He tried to stand up but Remus pushed him back down.
"Now, now kiddo. You aren't moving." Remus pouted. "You are so sick you worried me to death!"
"You were the one who made me do it!" He cried. "W-Why do you insist on keeping me? You let everyone else go? Please Remus...please."
"Just get rest kiddo." Remus laughed as he walked out of the room again. Virgil curled up into a ball and started to cry. Who the hell thinks it's a good idea to trust him with a kid at all! God damnit.

A few months ago: (before he was kidnapped)
"Virgil, are you paying attention?" Virgil looked up at Remus.
"No, not really." He groaned. "But repeat the question." Remus glared.
"You, are a pain in the ass." Remus pointed at the board. "What is this?" Virgil heard everyone laughing and he looked at the board.
"Clearly, if you don't know what that is...you don't have one." Everyone oohed and started saying "burn" and Remus was fuming. I mean yeah, Virgil probably shouldn't have pissed him off but that was too funny to pass up.
"Detention." Remus shouted. "After school." He walked away from the board. Janus looked over at Virgil.
"It's like you want him to kill you what the fuck Virgil?" He asked. Virgil just laughed.
"I guess I'm just willing to die because I like messing with him." Janus shook his head.
"What the fuck Virgil..." Janus looked away. "He's an asshole but you don't have to encourage him to be an even bigger one.."
"Yeah yeah, but it's funny." Virgil started drawing in his notebook not caring about the time. He has to stay after anyways so what's the point? The bell rang and Virgil sat there with his earbuds in. He'll stay here for an hour and then head home. Pointless. He was sitting there for a while when suddenly the earbuds were ripped from his ears. "What the hell!?" Remus sat on his desk after pushing Virgils stuff to the ground.
"Aww what? Can't handle it?" He asked. Virgil stood up and backed away.
"Dude what the fuck!?" He glared at his stuff on the ground. He went to pick it up and Remus stepped on his hand. Virgil went to scream out in pain but Remus held his hand over Virgils mouth. Virgil bit back his screams as Remus stepped down harder.

"Next time, don't make me look stupid, tell anyone you face the consequences get it? Good." He pulled away from Virgil and gathered his stuff leaving the room. Virgil held his hand to his chest and screamed. The door was thrown open and suddenly Logan was in the room gathering his stuff.
"My god what happened!" He cried. Virgil held his hand to his chest as more tears fell down his face. He wanted to tell Logan but he was terrified of Remus.
"N-Nothing." Tears flowed down his face faster.
"Wait..." Logan picked something up off the ground and raised and eyebrow. "Was this Remus? Did he do this?" Logan sat down in front of Virgil. "Don't lie to me."
"I-I uhm...No." Virgil looked away.
"I don't know if I believe that. I'll be keeping an eye on him." Logan helped Virgil up and looked at the time. "Would you like a ride home?"
"I can walk." Virgil mumbled.
"Aright, goodnight." Logan walked out of the room and Virgil collapsed to the ground again. What is he doing to do?
Virgil looked at the hospital phone and quickly dialed Januss number. Janus answered.
"Hello?" He asked.
"I-It's me Virgil." He whispered into the phone.
"Are you alright! Roman told me you were rushed to the hospital..." he sounded like he was trying to get someone's attention on the other line.
"Listen, I-I don't know where we are going but Remus said he has...he has full custody of me now. Guys I'm actually really terrified right now and I don't know what to do I can't-."
"Virgil who are you talking to?" Remus walked into the room.
"Help!" Virgil cried into the phone. Remus just rolled his eyes and hung up the phone.
"Come on Virgil, time to go home." Remus grabbed Virgils arm and they walked out of the hospital. Virgil had tears flowing down his face when Remus got into the driver side and they started to drive away. He tried the door and cried out frustrated when he realized there was a child safety lock. "Stop that."
"You fucking kidnapped me again and you expect me to fucking stop! Leave me alone!" Virgil cried out when Remus stopped suddenly, pulling to the side of the road.
"Fine, you want to do this the hard way, the hard way it is." Remus suddenly hit Virgil in the head and Virgil felt dizzy. He hit back and Remus just caught his hits every time.
"S-Stop!" He cried. Remus ties his hands together and Virgil struggled against the ropes. Remus laughed and tied something over Virgils eyes. Virgil struggled against it. "R-Remus stop!" He felt something go over his mouth covering his nose as well. He felt dizzy. He tried to shake it off. "Mph-." His eyes closed and he slumped down in the seat. Oh fuck.

Good Guy Necromancer
Necromancers are murderous, repulsive, utterly ungodly creatures. And then there's Jerry. Jerry is a novice necromancer who treats his undead warmly, seeks to befriend people instead of harvest their bodies, and doesn't mind cracking a skull or two when needed. He genuinely is a good guy—too bad nobody believes him. Jerry tries to settle down, wanting nothing but a peaceful life for him and his undead—and, when that doesn't quite work out, he sets out to adventure. He will make friends, each unique in their own way, and together, they will travel through a variety of striking environments; from a tiny village, to the land of the dead, to a jolly archipelago, to a kingdom on a beanstalk. To save a world that shuns him, Jerry must stand against a large organization of arrogant, mighty wizards. He strives to become stronger while maintaining his kindness, only to realize that, maybe, gentle hearts make the greatest necromancers. This is the story of a delightful man in a harsh world—full of warmth, action, and wise-cracking bone puns. Chapters are usually 2-3k words, and updates are 3/week: Mon, Wed, Fri. If you're looking for another fun, action-packed adventure, check out Cultivator vs. System by yours truly, available on Kindle, KU, and Audible. But read Good Guy Necromancer first.
