grade ten - sophomore year

zayn had started doing drugs without harry knowing.

harry never spent that much time with zayn anymore as he and leigh would always be together.

harry and zayn would spend time together sometimes, not all the time.

zayn couldn't take it anymore, and he needed something to help him get harry and leigh off his mind.

zayn knew he was gay and he had already come out to his parents. it was pretty surprising, zayn's mum said she always wondered what it would be like to have a gay son, so she thought it was pretty great. zayn's dad brought zayn out for dinner and told him he'd support zayn no matter what.

all zayn had to do now was tell harry.

"hi babe." zayn winked at the girls that walked down the hall swooning and waving at zayn.

zayn was on his skateboard, the one louis let him borrow.

zayn knew he was going to get in trouble, but he didn't care.

zayn skateboarded down the hall to harry's class and discreetly motioned for harry to take a hall pass.

harry saw and asked for a hall pass, then was dismissed.

"this is like when you wanted me out of recorder class." harry rolled his eyes jokingly.

"i have to tell you something. if we get in trouble, i'll cover for you okay it's on me."

harry nodded uneasily.

zayn brought harry outside, and the two sat down.

"okay, what is it?" harry questioned, watching zayn.

he noticed that zayn had nice eyes and very pretty hair. (around ch. 2)

"i think i knew for a long time now.. but i never really wanted to say anything.." zayn sighed.

"say what?"

"that i'm gay,"

harry giggled.

"what?" zayn asked.

"that means two boys like each other." harry spoke, remembering when zayn snuck harry into the washroom.

"oh shut up. louis told me that!" zayn chuckled.

"so you're gay?" harry questioned.

"i'm gay," zayn nodded.

"i'll support anything you do really. i always liked you for being cool about everything." harry placed a hand on zayn's thigh.

"okay," zayn spoke shakily. "okay."
