"Who's coming?" Annabeth asked gently as you laid there-unable to move.
"Mom's in trouble. We need to help her." you muttered to yourself, trying to comprehend what you saw.
"Y/n, we don't understand what you are saying, you're mumbling, please speak up!" Paul exclaimed as he walked closer to you. You shook your head and trembled in fear. Your body shook violently as the dreamed played again and again in your mind.
"Porphyrion. He's coming. Mom's in trouble." you cried as you dug your head into the pillows. A few minutes later someone tapped on the window sill. Sally walked over and opened the velvet curtains to reveal a furious Nico di Angelo outside. Sally giggled and opened the window. Annabeth looked at you nervously and gave Nico a glare.
You lifted up your head and caught Nico's intense gaze. It felt as if he was staring straight into your soul. The thought frightened you as you face planted into the pillows. "What happened now?" he sighed as he approached the bed. Annabeth ignored him as she turned towards you and rubbed your covered back in a soothing rhythm.
Nico watched from a distance, waiting for an answer. Sally and Paul exchanged confused looks and watched the scene unfold before them. Nico stared intently at your back, still waiting for an answer. It was then that an image was planted in your brain that you starting screaming bloody murder. Sally, Paul, Nico, and Annabeth all covered their ears as you felt pain in your chest. Images flashed through your head, making you scream louder in fright.
Tears rolled down you red and puffy cheeks as the pain continued to throb. Your screams subsided to sobs as the pain only grew worse. Images began to flicker before your eyes as you saw your mother being tortured. Why are you the only one feeling this? Feeling her pain?

Pure agony rolled onto you as you felt your chest go numb. The pain in your chest subsided, but your neck and head began to pound. Annabeth tried to calm you down, but you were thrashing around too much. Sally and Paul came over and tried to keep you still so that you wouldn't hurt yourself as you were writhing in pain. They tried everything, but you had become so unattainable that Sally had to leave the room before she got hurt.
Nico crossed the room and to your bed, trying to help Annabeth calm you. Climbing into the bed to still you, he gathered you in his arms and held you close. Annabeth left the room to check up on Sally as Nico whispered sweetly into your ear as he rubbed your hair. Your sobs came to a stop, leaving tear streaks down your face. The images soon stopped and it felt like time froze over as your heart beated erratically. Your heavy breathing was the only thing that could be heard within the room. "I'm sorry." you choked out as you felt the pain go away.
☠
The next day was when the discomfort finally subsided. The images never did, they were becoming less frequent though. You woke up to a pounding headache and Nico gone. Your body was extremely sore and you could barely walk. 'This is exactly what they want, for me to be weak.' you thought as you winced in pain while sitting up. Biting back a scream, you stood up and made way over to your closet were you got dressed.
Grabbing onto the knob and pulling it open with a gentle tug, your arms cried out in pain and you held back a string of curses. Walking towards the kitchen, you found Sally, Paul, Annabeth, and Nico eating breakfast. Four heads lifted up as you managed to croak out a husky greeting. Sally and Paul ran over to you, making sure that you were alright, while Annabeth gave you a concerned look and Nico stared at you worriedly.

"I'm fine,no need to worry about me." you told them as they embraced you worriedly. Returning their embrace, you apologized to Sally for jeopardizing her child.
"Then what do you call screaming and clutching your chest in pain?" Nico retorted as Annabeth smacked his shoulder and glared at him sharply. Nico glared back and crossed his arms over his chest.
"Nico!" Sally shrieked as she gave him an angry look that only mothers could give. Paul shook his head and turned towards you.
"Are you sure you're alright?" he asked as he looked into your eyes. Your face grew red in embarrassment, not used to this much attention.
"Yeah. I just need to finish this quest. The sooner I can, the better things become." you answered as Paul gave you a disapproving look. You gave him a soft smiled and turned towards Sally. "Thank you, Sally for letting us stay. I'm afraid to say that we will have to be leaving soon though." Sally nodded and walked behind the island in the kitchen and handed you a plate of breakfast.Smiling gratefully at her, you took the plate and sat down in between Annabeth and Nico.

Triquetra: A Multi-Class Isekai or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Accept the End of the Multiverse
Triquetra: An Multi-Class Isekei Adventure I know, I know, you have heard it all before. Yes I was hit by a truck. Yes I ended up in a Fantastical World suspiciously similar to one of my favorite RPG’s. Yes I had access to cheats no one else possessed. Yes it was a world of classes and levels and magic powers. Finally, yes I was an overweight middle-aged loser failing to live up to my potential. Given my eclectic reading habits I should have been better prepared. Unfortunately I was not. Sure I could multi-class with reduced penalties, but my starting class was Scholar! No combat abilities and very limited spellcasting. My HUD interface costs mana to use, and my universal translation seemed to be outsourced to Giggle Translate. I’m supposed to be an OP MC! Not a slice-o- life struggling to survive in the wilderness. Not to mention the Arch-Magus who summoned me, mistimed everything, I arrived 300 years too late, after the fall of the Empire I was supposed to save. The surviving remnants have devolved into Murder Hobos. What’s worse is that the Great Devourer, Ancient Calamity, and Spawn from the Void Beyond Time, Space, and Sanity is now aware of a new world to plunder, a world called Dirt! (Told you this translator sucks) Warning Extra Crunchy Authorial Vebosity! Lots of infodump in the early chapters, but I learn my lesson and it does get better, eventually. I do not own the Cover image, found it on a free image site.
