《The Insemination》Chapter Fourty-Three

Looking in my hand mirror, I fix my make up and check my teeth. Seeing that I look good, I look down at my arms. Sniffing under my armpits, I smile when I smell nothing but the spray of Beautiful Day by Bath and Body Works. "Step on it," I tell my driver.
Hearing the engine speed up more, I smile. It's been so long since I've felt his touch.
When my mother told me I was to marry Ezra so I could rule, I declined. But of course, my mother was never one to accept the word "no".
Sitting in my big white Love Sac reading messages in my phone, the smell of sweat and Jimmy Choo's cologne hit my nose. "Hey baby," I smile.
"What gave me away?" He asks.
"That wonderful smell of yours," I tell him getting up from the comfy giant Love Sac. "When will you kidnap me from this horrible place? I miss you," I say wrapping my arms around his neck.
"Soon baby. Then, we can run away together. As long as your mother never finds us," he laughs.
"Promise?" I laugh with him. Smelling the scent of cigarets and coffee, I grab his arm and pull him to my closet.
"If you want to have sex with me, that's all you have to say," he smiles.
"Yeah, but no. My moms coming! Get in my closet. Hopefully my clothes can mask your scent." Opening the closet door, I shove him in the closet and go to close the door, but he puts his foot in the way. "What are you crazy?" I ask panicking.
"Kiss me," he smiles.
Grinning from ear to ear, I lean my body into his and feel his soft lips trace across mine. His arms wrap around me deepening our kiss even more. Smelling my mother scent even more, I partially want to barf because of smelling her scent while kissing him. I break away. "Now quite," I shush. He blows a kiss at me. Laughing, I close the door and look around.
Running to the Love Sac, I jump on it and quickly grab my phone. Opening it to anything, I try to act casual.
"Yuri," my mother says barging into the room. She has an annoyed look on her face. Then again, she always looked that way.
"Yes mother?" I ask looking in my phone still.
"Your getting married and you are to have a baby," she demands.
My eyes go wide as I drop my phone and give her my undivided attention. "Married? To whom?"
"Ezra. He's the strongest pack so far and we need to join forces so we can one day take over him."

I scoff at how selfish my mother is. "What about me? I don't want to marry him or have babies by him. I'm already dating someone!"
Her nostrils flare up at me. "You mean that trash that you hang out with? He's nothing and he will never be nothing."
"No," I tell her standing up. I was tired of my mother dictating my life. I wanted to marry who I wanted to marry, and who I love.
"What the hell did you just say to me?" She asks looking at me with an evil glare.
"Isn't there another way we can go about this?" I ask softly. Before I have the chance to react, her hands smack across my face causing me to fall.
"You selfish bitch. Your going to do whatever you have to to get him to mark you and that's it." She turns around towards the door. Before she leaves, she sniffs the air.
I gasp. She then shrugs her shoulders and leaves. Finding myself crying, he comes out of the closet with his face holding pure hatred.
"I'm sorry," I cry. "I'm sorry she said those things about you! It's not true. Your special! I love you."
"Don't cry," he says walking to me. Cupping my face, he wipes my tears and kisses my forehead. "Don't worry. One day, we will show them all. Even if we have to kill them," he smiles.
"Even my mom?" I sniffle.
"Especially your mom."
I giggle from the memory. Looking out the window, I notice the view. Driving into the well remembered drive way, I grin in pleasure just by seeing the front door. I cross my legs as my short dress reveals my upper thighs. "Roll down my window," I tell my driver.
As he does, a friendly face walks out of the house. "Well, well, well," smiles the handsome well built blonde. "What do I owe the pleasure to seeing your beautiful face on this side of the woods?"
I grin and shrug my shoulders. "The pleasure of destroying those that need to be destroyed," I smile.
"And what's the pleasure of me having a werewolf in my district?"
"Well," I smile raising up my dress a little. "Would you like to find out?"
"Your damn right I would like to," he smiles. Opening the car door, he offers his hand to me. Taking it, I smile a wicked grin.
"You know we don't have long to fool around," I remind him.
"Of course not. Speaking of, I'm proud of you," he tells me picking me up bridal style.
Squealing from shock, I laugh. "After Ezra put word out for you, what was I to do? Terry, you know I love you," I smile.

"You know I love you too," he grins. "It's a shame Ezra won't live pass today, because I would love nothing more than to keep him around like a pet."
"As well as that little tramp he took in. How many people did you gather to kill them?"
"I gathered all the vampires and werewolves. Ezra will be no more," Terry smiles.
"Then let's not waste time," I smile.
Feeling the wind staring to pick up, I try to slow my breathing down from panicking. After running for so long, I had to rest. Hiding behind the large tree, the sun throwing off a beautiful sunset makes my shadow stand out. Shit! Looking around the three, I see someone's shadow in the distance.
Looking left and right I try to think. Shit! Shit! Shit! Maybe I can run from it! What the hell am I thinking about? I can't run from no werewolf! Hearing leaves rustle near me, I jump from being startled.
Looking left and right again, I lean my head against the tree and look up. I smile as I feel a lightbulb flick on in my head. Turning around, I quietly say "ow" as I get a few strands of hair out of the tree bark. Finally freeing my hair, I jump as softly as I can to the first branch I see.
Damn it! Missing the branch, I start sweating due to the wolf being near. "Come on, come on," I lowly say to myself. Crouching low, I jump once more and feel the thick long tree branch under my hands. Yes!
Pulling myself up, I use my feet by stepping on the tree truck. Pulling myself up all the way, I look up to see another branch to my left, but doesn't look as strong as the one I'm standing on.
Hearing the rustling again, I panic. Jumping for the branch, I hold onto the branch, but my heart starts to beat more as I hear a crack. My eyes shoot straight to where the noise is coming from. "No," I say.
Watching the tree branch, it cracks again and I can start to notice where the branch is about to break. "No," I say again afraid, not caring who heard me. Pulling myself over to reach another branch, it snaps.
Feeling my heart fall in my stomach, I scream. Holding my hand across my stomach, I fear for the worse. "Ezra," I call out. As if the fall came instantly, the impact for pain never came.
Feeling my body being cupped into a warm body, I open my eyes to see Ezra shirtless and blood over his body. "You call?" He smiles.
Tears fill my eyes. "Ezra," I cry. Burying my face into his chest, I feel safe. "I thought we were goners," I admit.
"Don't worry. As long as I'm alive, I will catch you," he says. "But, I need to get you back to the house. They're coming," he says with a serious voice.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, they're going to try and tear us down," Ezra growls. I bury my face in his chest once more, and wish for the best.

Standing, I watch Irina sleep on the long tan couch, I growl from anger. How dare they step to me!
Pacing, Jake and Rick step into the living room. I turn to look at them. "I cannot believe this!" Rick starts. "Have they gone mad? Attacking your house? We'll kill them all!"
"Who's behind this attack? Is it this Terry guy?" Jake asks sharing the same look of anger as Rick.
"It has to be," I growl. "I know they're coming. They sent three my way," I tell them.
"Jake and I found one each," Rick says. "I called the others and they are standing guard." He then looks to the couch and looks to Irina. "How is she handling all of this?"
"Well," I start. "When we got home I informed her on everything. I told her they are going to try to kill us with everything they have and that she needs to stay in the house. The main reason they are here is for her. I will not let anyone harm her," I growl.
"She's our Queen," Rick says.
"We won't let anything happen to her," Jake finishes.
Smiling at my friends loyalty, I feel proud to have best friends like them. Opening my mouth to say something, I stop as I feel something in the air. Hearing Irina gasp, I notice she's awake and sitting up. I rush to her.
"Irina, what's wrong?"
"They're here. Ezra, they're coming for me," she says sitting all the way up looking worried.
"Don't worry," I say cupping her face. "I will kill everyone to keep them from hurting you."
Hearing screaming in the distance, I stand. "What's going on?" I shout.
"They started a fire," Jenny says running into the house. "Alpha, they started attacking everyone. I need to tend to the wounded," she says running back outside.
"Jessica!" Jake calls out, worry on his face.
"Jake go with her! Rick you stay here with Irina!" I tell them heading towards the front door. I feel a hand wrap around my arm. I turn to see Irina with tears in her eyes.
"Ezra, please," she cries. "Please don't die."

8 232The Kiss of Two Moons
The last year is upon us. The world is ending, but you already knew that; everyone does. Spring has come, and the flowers have bloomed here in this small town with no name. Thousands of different colours now paint the field that had been coloured by frost alone just yesterday. The townsfolk have gathered by the field to celebrate the beginning of the last spring with so many smiling faces. Tears too. I can’t help but wonder whether the flowers will bloom again before the sky falls upon us. Others must be thinking the same. There are moments when the smiles fade and their eyes glaze over as they realize just how near to the end we are. They forget it again in moments. They make themselves forget. The children aren’t like that, though. They don’t seem to understand, or they’ve come to accept it in a way that their parents just can’t manage to. This one boy actually asked me why I was sad. I had to wonder whether he was actually aware that the world is ending, but it seemed wrong to mention it. I ended up just telling him that I was waiting for someone, and he scampered off, wearing a silly smile. I can’t help but feel jealous of him. The beginning of next spring; the day that the world ends. It seems so far away, yet so close. Wherever you are now, I have to ask, how are you spending your last spring? Did you get to see the flowers bloom? Did you smile? Did you cry?
