As his words process in my head, I wait a second before saying something. Before I respond, Noah's smile fades. "I am sorry. I didn't know that you were seeing someone."
"No," I say realizing that I still didn't answer his question. "I'm not seeing anyone. I would love to go to a café with you," I smile.
His eyes light up as a smile comes across his thin lips. "How is later today around one? We can meet at this café named Hernandez Café."
"One it is," I smile at him.
He nods his head as he walks of with a small pep in his step. Once he is out of ear distance, I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. "Oh my sweet love for shrimp," I say walking in a small circle. Doing a small dance, I throw my hands in the air and twist and turn in joy.
"Go Irian," I hear someone cheer out as I hear a small group of laughter. I notice some friends and classmates and a few coworkers. Freezing in mid dance, I blush as I try to compose myself.
"Hi guys," I say walking closer to my car. "I was just," I say opening the car door. "You know. Bye," I say getting in the car.
Hearing my phone ring, I see the caller ID and smile. "Hello," I answer.
"Why do I get the feeling that something good just happen?" Amelia asks with a cheery voice of her own.
"Well, I'm not sure what good thing happen to you, but I know something just happen for me. I have a date!" I cheer into the phone as Amelia cheers with me. "Okay, well not a date, but we are going out to a café for a bite to eat."
"Look at my little virgin flower sprouting," Amelia awes. "What is his name? What does he look like? Details girl!"
"Okay. His name is Noah, he has deep green eyes, red hair, looks fit and has a boyish kind of grin but a serious look," I tell her.
"Oh my gosh! Noah? Hot Noah? As in Noah Richards? Nina, his family is one of the richest families in the world! Nobody knows where they got their fortune, but they are well known. You have scored!" Amelia cheers.
"Now don't get all excited on me. I know nothing about him and he knows nothing about me. Last time I rushed into a relationship with someone it was your brother and we both know how that went," I say with a frown.
"Okay. Just call me and let me know how it goes. Okay?"
"Okay. What are you doing? I hear an echo in the background," I tell her.
"Cleaning. I decided to wake up early when I made Thomas breakfast and a lunch to take with him to work. Then I started cleaning the house and now I am on laundry. Do you want to come over?"

"Not right now. I just finished with classes and I am about to go help Rosa at her bakery. I will check in on you later okay?"
"Alright. Bye girl."
"Bye." I say hanging up. Taking in a deep breath, I do another small dance as I look behind me to make sure no car was in my way. Putting the car in reverse, I have a feeling that today is going to be a great day, yet I can't shake the feeling that something bad is going to happen.

"Irina take care of the front," Rosa says to me as I finish frosting the two layer birthday cake. I look at the black and yellow icing and smile as the Batman birthday cake is almost complete. The time was twelve thirty, which meant it was almost time for Noah to show up.
"Okay," I say to her as I pass the almost empty piping bag to Sanchez who just entered the kitchen area.
Sanchez takes the piping bag and rubs it across my face, making icing smear across my cheek to my nose and starts to laugh as he sticks his tongue out at me. Nodding my head, I start to walk away and as I see Sanchez turn around, I rush to the carton of eggs, grab one, walk to Sanchez, and smash the egg on his head.
"Irina!" Sanchez starts to whine as I stick my tongue out at him.
"Rosa tell Sanchez to leave me alone," I quickly pout as I grab a paper towel from off of the paper towel rack and wipe the icing off of my face.
"Sanchez you leave that girl alone so she can go watch the front. Boy! Get that egg off of your head! What the hell is wrong with you hijo? You want to waste my supply? I swear I'm telling your father when we get home," Rosa says not once stopping her recipe.
"But," I hear Sanchez whine as I burst into laughter as I go to watch the front.
As I walk out from the curtains, I notice we have a full house which makes me smile. As a family walks to the counter, I notice the smile on their little girls face.
"Hi, what can I do for you today?" I ask with a smile of my own.
"Mommy I want this, that, that, some of those, and this," the little curly blonde head girl that was spitting image of her mother, says pointing to each item she wants. Her hair was long as she appeared to look at least three.
"Woah there princess, you will get a sugar rush wanting all of this," her father says with a smile.
"But daddy," the little girl says turning to her father as her mother looks at her husband with the "She asked for you" look.
"Now pumpkin," he starts but as he does, his daughter sticks her bottom lip out and looks at him with the saddest puppy dog face ever. Her dad tries to stare her as she does the same, and just as the little girl unfolds her arms, her daddy gives in.

"You win," he huffs with a smile.
"She's yours for the night," says his wife with a smile as she hands me her credit card. Taking the credit card, I go ahead and calculate every item being purchased, swipe her card, hand it back to her, and start to gather the little girls treats.
"What do you mean she's mine? What about you?" her husband asks as he looks at his wife with pure admiration and love in his eyes.
"I paid for it. I'm off the hook," she says winking at him causing him to chuckle as his daughter takes his hand and starts to pull.
"Where are we going pumpkin?" he asks looking at his daughter.
"I want to sit daddy. Lets pick a table out for mommy," she smiles.
"Okay," her dad smiles back.
As I finish gathering their items, I hear the woman clears her throat and smiles at me. "So, how long have you been pregnant?"
My eyes widen from shock.
"Oh I'm sorry. I didn't know it was a secret," the woman quickly replies with a bit of regret on her face.
"Oh! It's not a secret," I smile. "I am just shocked that you know. How can you tell?" I ask curious.
"It's in your face. Your glowing. Your glow is quite large. My husband told me I was glowing with our little Hope," she says turning to smile at her husband and daughter. "Actually, I want your help in something," she whispers looking back at me.
"Me?" I ask handing her a bag full of her items. "What is it that I can help you with ma'am?"
"Ma'am? Oh no," she laughs. "I am only twenty-three."
My eyes widen as she burst into laughter. "You are twenty-three? You look much older!"
Her laughter continues as her dark blonde hair bounces. Her mature features soften as I notice she looks much younger. Her laughter soon dies down as her daughter with the same hair color rushes to us. "Momma, we are suppose to eat," she pouts.
Her mother bends over and picks up her daughter and smiles. "Hope, be nice and say hi to the nice lady."
"Hi," Hope smiles looking at me and then turning back to her mother. "Now will you join daddy?"
"Yes my little one," her mother says as they share the same light green and fair skin. "I am sorry but I have to eat with this little one and my husband. My name is Melody by the way," she says extending her hand.
"I'm Irina, pleasure to meet you," I smile taking her hand.
"Mommy," Hope whines.
"Okay," Melody smiles as she places her daughter down, takes her bag of treats, and walks to the table as her daughter is skipping in front of her.
Watching the family in awe, I turn around and walk to a table that I notice is empty with a couple of mugs on the table. Walking to the circle glass table, I pick up the mocha color mugs and as I turn around, I muffle a scream.
"I am sorry," he says as I bump into him. He reaches his arms out and grabs me as I balance the mugs in my hands and my cowgirl boots click against the ground from the sudden movement.
"Noah? You startled me," I say gazing into his eyes.
"Am I late?" he asks taking the mugs from me and placing them on the counter.
"Late?" I ask a bit lost.
"For our bite to eat," he says making me realize I forgot a bit.
"Oh! I'm sorry. No your not late. I work here," I laugh.
"Really? Why didn't you tell me?" he laughs.
"Surprise," I laugh myself.
"Sanchez, watch the front for me," I shout loud enough for him to hear.
As he comes out from the curtain he eyes Noah. "Sure Nina. Anything for you," he says walking behind the counter. "What can I get you?"
"I would like a vanilla cupcake as well as two blueberry muffins and a cinnamon roll with an order of milk," I smile.
"Just the way you like it?" he asks me knowing better than to ask that question.
"No other way," I smile as I roll my eyes.
"And what can I get you?" Sanchez asks Noah as his smile is now gone.
"I will take a slice of cheesecake with a drizzle of caramel, chocolate, and toppings of cooked pecans," Noah says smiling at him.
"Let's take a seat," I smile guiding him to a table by the back window.
"So who is he?" Noah asks.
Feeling as if I heard a hint of jealousy, I shake it off and smile. "Sanchez is the son of Rosa, the woman who owns this café. He is like a little brother to me. How did you know of this place?"
"I use to come here when I was little and my family likes to come here every now and then still . She is a very good baker. Now, I want to know so much about you," he smiles at me.
"About me? Really? Why?" I ask looking at him in confusion.
"There just seems to be so much about you, I want to know it all," he smiles.
"There isn't much to know," I say shrugging my shoulders.
"Let me be the judge of that," he smiles.
My eyes widen a bit as I gulp.
