It's been past a year since Kyrie's initiation. He was now sixteen. Chun was thirteen, turning fourteen. Sefton was 17 turning 18. They had stayed extremely close but lately things seemed off between the group.
Kyrie woke up early to go see Bri, he's been planning this day for a long time. Bri was now seventeen. He had a lot he wanted to say to her.
He wrote Bri a note asking her to meet him behind the cafeteria, he hoped she would show up. But she never did. He waited for an hour or so. He filled time by playing the arcade games from 10:00 to 11:30. Bri never showed up.
Pain hit his heart, why didn't she want to meet with him? He walked back to his room disappointed in himself for even trying.
An hour later he heard knocking at his door. It was Bri, but something smelt horrible and her eyes were disturbing to look at. A thin trail of blood was leaking down from her mouth.
Kyrie looked down to where the smell was coming from and saw her guts were leaking out all over her white miniskirt like barbecue sausage links. She looked like she was trying to ask him for something but he couldn't understand.
"What the fuck?" Kyrie muttered breaking the silence. Bri collapsed on his floor. It wasn't long until others saw. He was immediately surrounded and chaos broke out.
Lord Kieran silenced the crowd and walked to the body. "Kyrie, we will hold a trial and then decide whether or not you are guilty. We will take time for everyone to investigate first. But tomorrow the time will be up."
Kyrie's expressing remained shocked. He had no clue what just happened. His room was suddenly a crime scene. He was the main suspect. Her rotting corpse was left there for inspection. Her eyes rolled back, mouth open, tongue out. Guts spilled on the floor beneath her. Why was this happening?
Worst of all, his fate was to be decided in less than twenty four hours.
