《Blue - My 8 Brothers》Chapter 20

"La la la,
la la la la,
la la la la la la la,
LA LA LA LA LA..."
I heard a familiar music.
It was so faint, almost inaudible. So soft and gentle.
Soothing my nerves, even when I was in panic.
It was getting even slower. Like it was going away from me. No, I didn't want to stop hearing it. It was so calm and soothing.
I followed the gentle music.
It was so faint and slow that I found it very hard to follow.
I ran towards it. To find it.
No, I couldn't let it go away from me. Not again.
I ran and ran and ran and ran till I was completely out of breath and found it difficult to breath.
It was getting darker. There were big thick clouds blocking the sun's light.
"Help!", I took all the energy I had left in me and shouted at the top of my lungs.
But there was no response.
Who would hear me in the middle of the forest anyway.
I was starting to feel dizziness. I could hear my heart racing. I was drifting away to sleep slowly.
Maybe this was the end. I would fade away, from all my worries. To a better place, where God will love me.
Where I wouldn't be forced.
Just when I was about to shut my eyes, I felt something.
Something wet on my feet.
I turned around and saw that there was a big wolf standing there. His saliva dripping from his mouth with his bloodshot eyes making him look even more scarier.
I quickly stood up and started running as fast I could.
I was injured badly with scars and cuts all around my body. Pieces of glass peircing through my skin.
I suddenly stumbled upon a branch and fell down with a loud thud.

I let out a scream of pain.
The wolf came nearer me. I had no hope now.
I didn't try anything now because I knew I can't do anything now.
Just when it was about to attack me, I heard the same music.
This time alot closer.
The wolf snapped it's head at the direction from where that music was coming.
My eyes glanced in that direction as well.
There was a someone in dark clothes. I couldn't actually make out if it was man or a women.
They started singing the same tune,
"La la la,
La la la la,
La la la la la la la,
LA LA LA LA LA..."
It sounded like a man. A boy actually.
It was so soothing to your ears, I just wanted to sleep at that moment. It was like his voice had magic in it. Even the hard woods felt like comfortable. Even more comfortable than a soft bed.
His voice seemed to have an effect on the wolf. It slowly drifted off to sleep.
I stood up, "tha-thank you so much sir. You saved my life", I stuttered on my words. I was unsure about what to say.
That's when he looked at me. He seemed slightly older than me.
I looked at his face, I was utterly shocked.
His eyes, those eyes. They were blue, just like my eyes. His dark brown hair, just like mine.
Even our faces matched to some extent.
"Who-who are you?", I asked him.
He didn't reply to me at all.
Before I could say anything else, everything vanished.
It was pitch black. I panicked.
I was finding it hard to breath.
"Blue!", I heard someone call me name from a distance. It was very unclear.
"Blue!",this time it was a little clearer.

I suddenly woke up gasping. It was very hard to breath.
It was Audrey, she was trying to wake me up.
I had tears in my eyes. I tried to stop them, but I couldn't. They started flowing out. I was crying.
I was expecting Audrey to ignore me, but she did something surprising.
She hugged me. Wait what?
"Hey, hey, hey. It's fine, it was just a dream", she gently stroked my hair while whispering soothing words. That's it's alright, I don't have to worry.
Then slowly my breathing calmed down.
"Thank you-you Audrey", I was unsure of what to say.
Her expression suddenly changed. To a cold glare.
"Don't thank me. It's not like I care about you, I wasn't spending the night in this dorm anyway. I just came to grab my charger and some clothes. Don't think like I care", she rolled her eyes and quickly went out.
What's up with her?
I didn't had time to think about that.
The important question is, why did I have that nightmare again. It's been years since it happened.
The more important question is,
How did I see his face. I've had that nightmare before but this was the first time I ever saw his face. He seemed really familiar...
