As soon as bakugou stepped into the circle near the altar, a bright yellow flame started burning on the edge of the circle like a wisp.
'' I thought.
"Oy! Nerd, what does this mean. " Bakugou said to me.
"Can someone help me get to the altar? " I asked.
Then two people from the group came and lifted me up. They started walking toward the altar. Once we enter the circle, 3 more flame wisps began glowing on the edge of the circle.
'' I thought to myself.
Judging by the distance between each wisp, it would need two more people to complete the circle. I then call the remaining two to the circle as well.
Suddenly many blue fire wisps surround the smaller circle by forming a larger circle. They were 36 in total.
(Like this)
Suddenly, the large gate gets completely opened. It left us all shocked.
' ' I thought for a moment, but quickly changed my mind.
' ' I thought again
Suddenly, the statues, statues started moving towards the altar. This caused everyone to look at the statues. They immediately stopped. And one of the blue flames around the altar vanished . This caused me to think.
I quickly looked at my watch to check the time, it took one minute for the flame to extinguish. I heard the statue in front of me move. As soon as I looked at them again, they stopped.
" Everyone, do not remove your eyes from the statues, they move when we aren't looking. " I yelled loudly to everyone.
After hearing me, the people tried their best to not remove their eyes from the statues.
A long time later, which felt like an eternity, one of the girls was unable to keep her eyes opened, the statue immediately started moving.

I heard a loud scream. It was the same girl, the noise of the Statue might have woken her up. She immediately made a run for the gate.
' ' I screamed internally.
But nothing happened. She left the gate unharmed. But the gate closed a little, and one of the flames in the inner circle vanished.
' ' I said to myself.
I didn't notice it, but as soon as they saw that the girl left without harm, others also wanted to just rush out of the Hall. Then, the person who was holding me up, just threw me on the ground and ran.
He also left the door. The door closed again a little, another wisp vanished. There were only 4 people remaining in the hall now. I was trying to stay up by taking support from the altar.
I screamed, " No one else should leave, we need at least 4 people to properly look at every statue.
" Hey nerd, explain what you mean by that " Bakugou yelled at me.
" The blue flames are a timer and we have to wait until those all vanish to complete this one. " I replied.
Then I heard a voice, it was the guy who had forced Bakugou to step onto the altar. He had a quirk to shoot bullets from his fingers, but he needed to hold any metal or hard substance to use his quirk. For which reason, he used to carry his father's sword with him.
"Hey midoriya, you might be correct. But, couldn't the door also just completely shutdown when the blue flames run out. " He said.
" I appreciate your help and accept that I might be alive only because of you. But..... I don't wanna die. I'm sorry, I don't think I can take this any longer. I'm sorry. " He said while looking at me with tears dripping from his eyes.

' ' I said to myself.
He then left the hall. He threw his sword on the ground and forgot about it in the moment. The gate closed by a little again.
It was all over, we could do nothing now, with only three people, there will be a gap in the fertile of vision of us all.
"Oy you, healer girl ! go get Deku and get out of here. I'll stay, after all, I'm the injure who brought you here. " Bakugou said.
"O-ok" Said the girl and tried to walk towards me, suddenly she collapsed on the floor. " My legs! They won't move! " She said.
That was the downside of her quirk. She could heal others, but at the expense of her own energy.
"Hey kacchan, can you listen to me. Take the other girl and leave, I will stay. " I said to him " Go leave, otherwise, who will save this girl here. " I added.
The girl started arguing that she would rather stay, but was suddenly knocked out by Bakugou with a chop to the neck.
"Go, and become the greatest hero." I said to him.
" Yeah, I will, thanks Izuku. " He said, and they both left. The gate closed by a little again.
Two more flames vanished from the inner circle.
' ' I said to myself.
' ' I said as I picked up the sword left by that boy. Rin Amazuki. I won't forget that name.
. I lied there looking up at the giant statues, lifting up the sword at them.
It then jabbed it's large spear through my chest, lift me up, and dropped me on top of the altar. I lie there bloodied. My whole body throbbing in pain.
' ' this was the only thought rushing through my mind, as I saw the statue finally crashing down it's spear.
Suddenly, everything stopped, and I heard a voice.

I do not own any characters, locations or anything from ' my hero academia' , or ' solo leveling' . All credits to stuff from my hero academia goes to ' Kohei Horikoshi ' and credit for stuff from solo leveling goes to 'Sung-Lak Jang'.
Also, sorry if it start feels too similar to the manga ' solo leveling ' it's because I wanted the prologue part to be similar to solo leveling as it was ones of the driving factors in the protagonist's story.

Mordheim: Servants of The Damned (A Warhammer Fantasy Fiction)
“The Great Library,” Stated the stranger with a pause. “You know of it?”“Of course I do. In the Merchant’s Quarter?”“Yes, in the Merchant’s Quarter. I have gathered that there is an… artefact of importance within its walls.” Slowly, the figure produced a rusted key from the furls of his robes and held it in a black-gloved hand. “This opens the door to its chambers. It is the grimoire of Gunnar von Krugenheim, and I believe that it would serve better in the world than locked away in a dusty room.” Behind the cursed walls of Mordheim, warbands and gangs of all stripes are embattled in constant wars for resources and power. The cursed city attracts throngs in the thousands, searching for treasures, artefacts, power, and sometimes all three. The Cult of the Hidden Brethren is no exception, and when an opportunity to extend their reach is discovered, the cultists are eager to take the opportunity. However, not all is set in stone, and soon the cultists discover that the lure of power alone may not be enough to give them the drive required to see their quest done... --- Mordheim: Servants of the Damned is a fanfiction set in the world of Warhammer Fantasy, which is not owned by me but by the company Games Workshop. I of course, lay claim to nothing in this story but the characters I have created, and the core events of the story itself. This is my first true foray into fantasy writing, let alone Warhammer Fantasy, therefore any feedback is welcome. (It should be noted as well, the cover art is merely an artwork I found online and is not mine, therefore I do not lay claim to that either.)
