~''The games of mere coincidences...

what tricks they play with your mind.

Mock you right in front of your face,

as if you are just a piece in the game called life.

Don't read this.

Life is beautiful.

Flourish.

Love.

Live and don't let anyone convince you that the end is always the end.

You are the only person who can turn it into a beginning...~''.

''They hurt you and then they act like you hurt them''.

Jungkook turned down the volume of his television and grabbed a cigarette from his box. Twirling it around his fingers, his mind drifted back to yesterday night. How differently he had expected it to turn out...

What could have been a night of bonding and pleasure ended up being a distressful experience that made Jungkook overhaul many aspects. Had he hurt the older? Not just physically but mentally. He tried to be gentle and caring, he asked for his consent so many times and Jimin seemed to desire it so much. He couldn't know what he did wrong.

''What were you watching?'' Jimin planted himself on the sofa, splaying himself on Jungkook.

''A documentary... Something about sociopaths or something, I was barely paying attention to it'' he chuckled and increased the volume. Jimin's position stiffened when his eyes averted to the screen. The journalist who must have potentially produced the documentary was speaking of sociopaths as if they were the worst people having stepped planet earth. Perhaps they actually were. Jimin surely was.

''Sociopaths really set you up for destruction through tactful manipulation. Despite your occupation, your gender or your age ,sociopath's main goal is to take you out. Literally''.

''Can you believe that people like this actually exist? I mean I thought I was a sociopath but at least I have some conscience'' he stated.

''Sociopaths have conscience, it's just too weak most of the time'' Jimin explained, his eyes never leaving the screen.

''And you know that why Mr. Genius ?''.

''I... I read a book once'' he lied.

''A key difference between a psychopath and a sociopath is whether he has a conscience, the little voice inside that lets us know when we're doing something wrong, says L. Michael Tompkins, EdD. Psychopaths don't have a conscience. If someone lies to you so he/she can steal your money, they won't feel any moral qualms, though he/she may pretend to. Psychopaths may observe others and then act the way they do so they're not "found out," Tompkins says. A sociopath typically has a conscience, but it's weak. They may know that taking your money is wrong, and they might feel some guilt or remorse, but that won't stop their behavior.

Both lack empathy, the ability to stand in someone else's shoes and understand how they feel. But a psychopath has less regard for others, says Aaron Kipnis, PhD. Someone with this personality type sees others as objects he can use for his own benefit''.

''Do you want to continue watching this? It's ten in the morning'' Jimin grabbed the remote to change the channels. ''Why is this program even airing at this time of the day?''.

''No, no... leave it. It's interesting. They live among us anyway. We should be able to descry them'' Jungkook sat more comfortably playing with the hem of Jimin's pants.

''They will hook you with their charms and afterwards hell breaks loose. Isolation from the rest of the world, manipulation of both the mind and the body, constant lies, mind games, playing the victim, continuous provocation... Till they break you. Both sociopaths and psychopaths are great actors''.

''Can you turn this off? This is not how I expected to spend my Saturday morning'' Jimin pleaded.

''I think it's ending, please be patient gorgeous. Perhaps the villain in my book could be a sociopath. It will be a nice touch, don't you think?'' he clapped his hands and placed a small kiss on the blond's forehead.

''Sociopaths aren't violent or at least not until they need to protect themselves. They might care about their relatives but only one percent of them can actually change or have actual feelings -romantic or not- for other people. Psychopaths on the other hand cannot love''.

''What? Why did you turn this off ?'' the raven haired whined.

''Let's do something else... It's too early to see this'' he spoke, his voice brash and coarse.

''You are right, I should have changed it... It's atrocious'' Jungkook remarked.

''Oh really? You find them atrcocious? They are people like you and... me. And she said that if they try hard enough they can change''.

''Jimin, my gorgeous, sorry for saying this but who is courageous enough to put up with a sociopath, let along build a relationship with them?'' he inquired softly, surprised by Jimin's surly expression. How ironic he was doing the same thing for months now...

''I don't know. Unless the sociopath can actually fall in love'' Jimin repeated.

''You have such a kind heart gorgeous but if a sociopath told me that he loved me I would never, ever believe him. I don't care if he was hot or not. I know he would lie straight to my face'' he stated and left his cigarette in the ashtray.

''You're probably right. They are the greatest liars after all'' Jimin smiled widely, the chestnut irises turning into black pearls hiding hundreds of unexplored secrets.

''Are you sore from yesterday? Do you want me to...''.

''I am okay, my tailbone just hurts a little. You were supposed to be gentle'' he tried to laugh the situation off, feeling that if he talked more about it he was going to cry from the anger.

He was so thankful that he didn't have to go to ''work'' this weekend. But his heart has never been so shattered. He knew he was no saint, he was aware that he was a sociopath. Maybe slightly different from the others, a sociopath with a soft heart however he could understand that he was in love.

His parents convinced me that he couldn't fall for anyone though. They told him he was unable to tell the truth. And Jimin had managed to achieve the first one with Jungkook.

But just by the mere thought that Jungkook hated him and his kind like most people- probably every human on planet earth apart from actual sociopaths- Jimin's desire to reveal the truth to the man was decreasing. He had to set things right although he was ambivalent. If he revealed the truth to Jungkook, the man would certainly feel disgusted. The probabilities were either just kicking him out or suing him for setting cameras all over his house. And Jimin couldn't reveal that this was someone else's plan from the start. Who was going to believe a sociopath anyway?

And if he didn't reveal the truth? Yoongi was going to make his wish a reality and nobody except Jungkook would end up hurt. Yet things have changed. Cause no matter what he chose he was going to end up without Jungkook. And perhaps this was for the best...

''And you were supposedly ready but you clearly weren't'' Jungkook countered back.

''What did you say ?''.

''You were asking me to fuck you as if... as if it was your obligation to do so. My mind was filled with emotions at that moment but now I can clearly see it. I told you I could wait...''.

''Don't start with this again. I forbid you''.

''You? You forbid me? You stood up from the couch and went to vomit in the sink! How did you want me to react? I was having sex with a man I fucking love more than my life at this point and I felt like I was killing you'' he yelled receiving no reaction from the blond. ''Are you fucking listening to me?''.

''I do listen to you, I am just not paying fucking attention to the words you say!'' he growled and without even realizing what he was doing he punched the wall directly next to Jungkook's head. His knuckles turned red and for the first time in his life Jungkook was afraid to embrace someone. And that someone was his own lover.

''Jimin...''.

''Don't fucking speak to me godamn it, just don't!''.

''It's okay, you don't need to tell me...''.

And as if someone pressed his memory button, Jimin's eyes flashed an angry scarlet, words he always wanted to say now dripping like poison on Jungkook.

''I will fucking murder you if you touch her again! I will fucking slaughter you if you lay one of your filthy fingers on me again, I won't hesitate to put the next bullet in your skull, you fucking asshole'' he growled, his eyes dripping tears of wrath and gorge. Jungkook's hands reached forwards and pushed Jimin's chest away so that he could regain his senses.

Both sitting on the floor far away from each other as if they were strangers - and maybe they should have stayed that way-. Jimin just wanted to get on with the plan and never see the boy again in his life. He despised people that cared for him, Jungkook is the reason why he is like this... vulnerable, fragile. In love.

But whenever the man came close to him and hugged him from behind, nuzzling his nose in the nape of his neck, exchanging scents and oxygen, feeling the soft skin to skin contact, Jimin forgot everything. The boy was so ineffably affectionate and endearing with him and he wasn't used to that.

''Jimin... Don't give the right pieces of you to the wrong people''.

Don't hug me when someone is watching. This moment is ours. Nobody else's, just you and me.

''Don't talk... Let me enjoy this while it lasts'' he soughed, neglecting the countless messages that were constantly flooding his phone.

''Does this have to do with the promise you gave me? That we will separate without saying goodbye?''.

''Yes''.

''Park Jimin. I never intend to say goodbye to you. Never'' he emphasized, silkily caressing the older's chest.

''That's lovely to hear'' he joked. After everything that will happen, you won't desire to ever see me again anyway.

''Because I never intend to let you go'' he added. ''What can I do to make you feel as enchanting as you look to me?''.

''You don't know what it feels Kook... You won't ever know how it feels... It's like I had the chance to escape Devil's clutches and I said no. His grip on me grew even stronger'' he admitted. Why did he allow himself to catch feelings with the one he was supposed to control with a movement of his finger? How did the puppeteer turned into a puppet?

''Then tell me gorgeous. Help me understand. This wasn't a regular outburst... You were talking about someone, threatening someone. I won't judge, I give you my word''.

The nauseating feeling of him touching his body, exploiting both him and his sister just came back in his mind and like a scalding knot rooted in his stomach.

''You might change your opinion about me''.

''Let it out of your chest. Share the burden with me... That's all I ask''.

Maybe the naiveness they all thought Jungkook had was just mere and complete understanding.

Jimin couldn't look the younger in his eyes. The peculiar amber that was glistening in the man's mirrors reflected the same dark yellow that attempted to cause catastrophe in his life.

''You see Kook... I... I have a sister'' he began explaining knowing that he would certainly regret if afterwards.

''Are you for real? And why have you never spoken about her?''.

''She... She is in jail. For a crime that she didn't commit'' Jimin sensed Jungkook's arms falling on his sides, the reassuring embrace ending in a flinch. The blond was ready to narrate some parts of his past, obviously not revealing the most significant and crucial detail.

''Oh my God, Jimin-ah...''.

''She... She is so pretty and polite, everyone loved her and cherished her, her mind was never occupied by terrible and twisted thoughts'' he smiled just by thinking of her beam. No matter how their parents treated her, she always remained her own, bright self.

''What's her name?''.

''Park Chinsun which means the one who finds goodness in everyone and everything. She had a thing with gloves, always wearing a pair of yellow ones. Even during summer days, Chinsun always carried it with her. It was my gift for her birthday, our... her favorite color. But sometimes people exploited that kindness for their own benefit and Chinsun was so pure and sweet, not knowing whom to trust''.

''Just like me sometimes'' Jungkook giggled.

Push me away baby, I beg you. Let me exit your heart and never let me enter again.

''Her boyfriend was... mentally unstable. Probably not with the way you consider unstable but let's just say that he wanted people to be his toys. And Chinsun fell for him...'' he hesitated to continue, ''...and before Chinsun I had fallen for him as well''.

Jungkook's eyes opened widely in shock knowing that Jimin's story wasn't going to have the happy ending he hoped for. The raven haired had written it in the beginning. How terrible Jimin's past was and how it made him numb.

''I had an affair with him without knowing he was simultaneously with my sister. He was leaving her place and then he was in my arms. He was much more experienced, older than us -at least eleven years- but I somehow managed to love him. He was praising me, giving me gifts and I did the same... However we had never consummated our relationship. He had done it with my sister but never with me'' Jimin explained.

''I don't like where this is going Jimin'' Jungkook stammered, his heart melting when he saw how pale Jimin looked while he was describing the story.

''He knew I liked bondage, I must have mentioned it once I guess... but I couldn't succumb to him for reasons I cannot explain now. And in a lovely summer day we got drunk and we ended up at his place. He promised me that he would let me make love to him, having given me ropes and handcuffs to arouse me. I don't want to delve deeper in my memories but I remember him hitting me in the head. I remember waking up almost completely naked on his bed... How he crashed his cigarette out on my tailbone''.

''Oh my God gorgeous, I am so sorry...''.

''Until he tried to force himself into me. Unwillingly, without consent... Yet he had forgotten that Chinsun was his date that night as well. She burst in the bedroom and saw us. My naked self ready to be humiliated. She didn't shed a tear. She knew I would never hurt her... But he didn't stop. He just loved the thrill of it for all I know. And with her hazy mind, Chinsun grabbed his gun and pointed it at his head''.

Jungkook's eyes were glistening with tears, the sickening disgust getting the worst of him.

''He raised his hands up in surrender and I managed to escape... But I was so outraged I couldn't control my acrimony. I grabbed the gun from her hands and shot his leg knowing that he won't die but he would certainly feel the pain. And we both stood there in shock not knowing if he actually deserved to die or stay alive'' he explained.

''We heard the police. They must have been near and heard the gunshot, I am not exactly sure. And I told her to run from the back door. I thought I was going to get caught so I tried to escape from a door he had in his cellar. I didn't hear her yelling for my help... I think he attacked her, I don't... I am not sure. And when I finally reached the exit and I was finally free I heard another gunshot''.

''Chinsun killed him?'' the younger gasped.

''In self defense. The bullet pierced his thigh, it wasn't deadly... He must have died from blood loss. But her fingerprints were far more prominent than mine on the gun. The police found her holding it. She hadn't worn her gloves that day...'' Jimin allowed his tears to fall.

''And they locked her in jail''.

''That's why I am working... I am getting money for her bail. Too much money but I am trying at least cause I know this is my fault and I love her and I can't...'' he began to breathe heavily, Jungkook's hands hugging him tightly.

''I love you, I love you, don't forget that I love you'' he whispered in his ear repeatedly each time the words having the same depth and the same impact. The older didn't mutter anything, just drowning in the sweet words his lover uttered.

With his thumbs wiping his tears away, Jungkook placed his fingers on the corners of Jimin's lips. He slightly tilted them upwards making the man to smile unwillingly.

''What are you doing Kook?'' he chuckled through his tears.

''Happiness makes you prettier. You glow. And despite the past predicaments you managed to start over. You resurrected like a phoenix from its ashes, more powerful and passionate than ever. Park Jimin you changed for the better and I love you for that''.

And finally, Jimin managed to say it.

''Pl-... Please say that you love me again''.

''I love you...again'' he teased the blond who playfully slapped his cheek.
