the gang was sitting around the basement watching the grinch.

"man, the grinch has a big butt." donna said.

"sometimes you have to say the things no one else would dare to say." isabella said.

"yes. nothing says christmas like a big green grinch ass." fez said.

"hold the ladder for me." donna told eric.

they had a christmas tree set up and they just needed to add the decorations.

"so, eric, what are you doing christmas eve?" kelso asked him.

"well, my parents are having the same lame christmas party. they have every year. all the adults. 'hey, neighbor, is that mistletoe?" eric mocked.

"all right, how does that look?" donna asked.

isabella rolled her eyes once she saw hyde and eric staring at donna's ass.

"it's great, man." hyde said.

"looks, fabulous." eric said.

"guys, the ornaments are up here." donna told them.

"oh, yeah." eric said.

"looks, great." hyde replied.

"oh, i just love christmas. it's all about good tidings and cheer. and shopping." jackie said.

"yeah, i'm pretty sure that's what jesus was going for." hyde said.

"hey, i give, too. every year, my friends and i deliver gift baskets to the unfortunate." jackie said.

"what?" isabella said with a laugh.

"i think you mean less fortunate." donna told jackie.

"okay, whatever. bums." jackie replied.

"oh, what are you guys doing watching cartoons? holiday inn is on." kitty said coming down to change the channel.

"where the treetops glisten la, la, la, listen." she sung.

"eric, come on, help me get the decorations." kitty said.

"sure, mom." eric replied getting up to go help her.

"you know what my favorite christmas gift of all time is?" kelso asked.

"kelso, if you say your good looks, i swear to god." isabella said.

"lite brite. it's fun making things with lite brite. well, it is." kelso said.

"man, my favorite gift is cash. that way you can buy whatever you want. know what i mean, donna?" hyde asked as donna agreed.

"like, let's just say somebody gave you, uh, 6$ and some change, right? you know, to buy a present. what would you get?" hyde asked.

"hyde, it doesn't matter how much a gift costs as long as it's personal and sentimental." donna said.

"you know what's both personal and sentimental?" jackie asked.

"if you say you i swear to god." isabella said.

"diamonds." jackie told them.

they all heard kitty screaming and her and eric ran out of the little room.

"we were going through a box of christmas decorations... and we found the christmas rat." eric said.

"hey, you found albert!" isabella said as eric glared at her.

-

isabella was walking to freddy's house to give him his christmas gift.

when she saw him, she saw that he was standing in his driveway kissing another girl.

"freddy?" isabella said making him look at her in shock.

"bells... i... this isn't..." freddy said trying to come up with something.

"so you were cheating, you bastard! it's over." isabella said before she walked away from him crying.

-

isabella had tried to calm herself down but she just wanted to go back to eric's house.

once she got there, she walked through the door. she felt so many different emotions.

"christmas is officially ruined!" isabella said but she stopped once she saw how many people were in the room for the party.

"everything okay, bella?" eric asked her.

"i... uh, i didn't know the party started." isabella said before she walked out of the basement.

everyone stood there not sure what to say. isabella wasn't one to get upset.

-

isabella was sitting on the chair outside eric's porch with her head in her hands.

she heard footsteps approaching her making her quickly wipe away any tears she had let out.

"hey." she heard making her look up to see hyde.

"hey." she replied before he sat next to her.

"you wanna tell me what's got you so upset?" hyde asked her.

"i caught freddy kissing another girl." isabella said.

"that bastard." hyde said making isabella laugh.

"i just feel stupid i guess. i knew something was up but i just wanted things to work so bad." isabella said.

"you're not stupid, bella. can i ask why you were with him, i mean, you didn't even seem that happy with him." hyde said as isabella let out a sigh.

"i think it was just the convenience. you know, my parents liked him and it just seemed like the right thing." isabella said.

"well, on the bright side you don't have to pretend anymore." hyde said as she nodded.

"it's kinda sad. me sitting here alone on christmas." isabella said.

"you're not alone, i'm here." hyde said as they locked eyes.

"thanks." isabella replied.

"oh, i got you a present." hyde said passing it to her.

"you didn't have to get me anything." isabella said as she opened it.

she ripped the paper off and she saw a framed picture of her and him.

"aw, this is so sweet, steven." isabella told him with a smile.

"it's not big deal, it's just a picture i've had in my drawn since forever, so." hyde said before she kissed his cheek.

"well, i think it's perfect." isabella said.

"now i feel bad for just getting you some stupid tube socks." isabella said as hyde laughed and he felt isabella rest her head on his shoulder.

isabella had told her parents about ending things with freddy. they were unhappy with it but they wanted their daughter to be happy.

isabella took the photo hyde gave her and she set it on her dresser. she smiled at it. she thought it was sweet that hyde had kept it all those years.

she was going to take a break from guys for awhile. freddy was her first boyfriend and she couldn't believe that he had cheated on her.

hyde also never told her about the night freddy was flirting with kate because he didn't want to hurt her more.
