Since Ash was born weird things started to happen at Ketchum Residence. The house was always surrounded by powerful pokemons. They guarded it as if it was a fortress. Only people who were allowed to go in were Prof. Oak, Blue, Daisy, and Gary. First time they tried to enter the house all were attacked by pokemon which scared them to death. But after Delia heard the commotion, she told them to stand down. When they asked what was happening Delia told that since ash's birth these pokemon are guarding the house. They were some well-trained pokemon. (2 Arcanine, Scyther, Pincer and Pidgeot)

"Hey Delia, how are the preparations going??" Daisy asked.

"Oh, hi Daisy, can you help me with the bread and cake??"

"Sure, Gary go play with Ash" "He's at the back-garden Gary."

Gary ran past them.

"Oh Boy they sure have a lot of energy"

"I can't wait to see what kind of trainer they become; they sure will take those leagues by storm."

----- Meanwhile in the back-garden----

Ash was playing with pokemons Eevee was sitting on his lap while he was patting Pidgeot's head. Suddenly a water gun hit his face. Ash looked up to see a poliwag.

"Hey what was that for, huh? Now I'm all wet."

"" it said.

"did-did I just heard wh-what you said??" ash asked being a scared for not knowing what was happening.

"Umm okay?"

"" Ash turned his head to see Pidgeot talking to him "."

Then ash was hit with another water gun. He got up and started to chase poliwag. But he was hit with another water gun.

"hahaha Ashy-boy got all wet, hahaha"

"What's so funny huh Gare-bare" then he turned towards poliwag and smirked.

Poliwag understood and shot a water gun at Gary

"Hahaha now that was funny hahaha"

"Stop it ashy-boy."

"Oh yah, now you understand how it feels. Any way Gary did you get my gift??"

"Ya ash thanks for it, you really know what I want. That bike runs like wind."

"Your birthday party was awesome. My mom just don't tell me what she is preparing for tomorrow."

"Don't worry ash she will do best of her to celebrate your birthday."

After chatting and roaming around for a bit, Pidgeot came and nudged Ash, telling it was time to go home.

"Hey Gary, I think we should get inside it will get dark in some time."

After going home Gary left with his mother, and Delia tucked ash in his bed, gave him a kiss on his forehead and went into bedroom. She fell asleep because of being exhausted. Ash also slept soundly.

----- In Ash's dream ------

"Where am I?? What is this place??" Ash asked.

"Welcome Ash, this is Hall of Origins" said ???

"Who are you? How do you know my name? What am I doing here?"

"I am Arceus, people know me as the god pokemon. I know your name because I've been watching over you since you were born. I see that today you turn five and you discovered that you can understand pokemon. But there are many more powers within you. I am here to become your friend and help you when you will need. So, can we be friends??"

"Well I would like to become friends, but with being friends god is is just.."

"I know you are freaking out, but there many reasons for us to become friends. And I also will be needing your help sometime."

"Of course, I'll help you. But you'll promise to be on my side all the time"

"That's a promise"

"Yep that's a promise. But the power that you told me about, what are those??"

"You'll know when the time is right, or I'll tell you when need to know I'll tell you. Till then make new friends, and improve your ability to talk with pokemon"

"Hey before we go can you tell why Pidgeot called me 'LORD' ???"

"It's because of the powers you have " she told the half truth.

"Nice to meet now it's morning you need to get up"

----- Dream over-----Ash PoV

"Wake up ashy" Delia called. "Your pokemon friends are waiting for you"

"I'm up mom" I replied

"Ok honey, go take a bath and clean yourself, you don't want to be dirty on your birth day do you?"

--- time skip---

"Mom I'm hungry" I called.

"I'm out in the garden Ash, hurry up everyone is waiting for you"

When I went to the back-garden I saw many pokemon waiting for him to come. They all tackled him in to a hug. After playing for some time with them mom called him. I saw that mom, Prof. Oak, Blue, Daisy, Gary and few unseen pokemon waiting.

"Uh mom who are these pokemon?? I have never seen them before."

"They my boy are dragonite and that one there is a magamar" Prof. Oak told me.

"Cool new friends, we'll play more" but then my stomach grumbled. And everyone started laughing.

"Well guess someone is hungry"

"I told you that I was hungry even before I came out of house mom"

"Well that wasn't my fault that you went to play right away"

"But can we eat now I just can't wait."

Ash cut the cake. Every one enjoyed the food.

"Delia these sandwiches are delicious" said Gary.

"Yep mom makes best sandwiches in allover Kanto"

"Glad you two liked it. Now ash here is your gift." Mom handed me a box. It was a watch.

"Hey mom what kind of watch is it??"

"It's a Xtransceiver it belonged to your dad. He told me that when you turn five, I should give this to you. Come on, I charged it last night so you can turn it on."

It turned it on and it played a recorded massage.

"Hi there kiddo,

I'm so sorry that when I left, I didn't even know where you are a girl or a boy. But that does not matter to me okay. I want you to know that no matter what condition I'm in I always love you. I promise you I'll come back to you. So, till then take care of yourself and your mother. When I come back to you, I want to see you safe and sound. I left you to keep you safe. Please forgive me.

I thought about giving this to you early so that you can learn its features and get familiar with it. I have also uploaded some of my battles on this so that when you are bored you can watch them. The video ended and I was on the verge of tears. I saw that mom was crying.

"Mom don't cry okay. Dad won't want us to sad right. And I promise you that I'll find dad, and make those evil guys pay for taking him away from us."

After calming down, Blue, Daisy and Gary gave ash his gift which was bicycle, Dragonite, magmar and even mom gave a pokemon egg each, so now I'm goanna have three new friends after they hatch.

"Now lastly I think that it's my time to give your gift. Well I thought about it, and since you both like pokemon I decided that I'm goanna teach you and Gary about pokemon, so that you will also get to know them better and it will also help you when you start your journey. Which means that you will be my semi-apprentice."

"Mom, what is apprentice?"

"Apprentice means student, just in some complicated manner."

"So that means I can play with the pokemon from professor's ranch"

"Well you will play, study, help me feed them, understand their habits and many more."

They celebrated till evening; it was time to go home. But some thing was bugging me so I finally gathered courage to ask.

"Umm... prof. when these eggs will hatch, will they be able to get captured??"

"Yes my son, but by looking at your face it tells me that's not what you want to ask."

"I wanted to ask if will you or mom will be able to capture them for me till I start my journey. I don't want them taken away from me."

"Of course, my boy, and don't be shy to ask anything, I am like grandfather to you right."

"Thank you very much professor."

Then Eevee came and started nuzzling my leg. I petted it's head.

"Looks like ashy found its first pokemon" mom said.

"Ash and Gary come tomorrow to my lab, that time I'll catch eevee and give you pokeballs for your new friends. Okay."

"Hey gramps do you have any eggs? I also want one."

"I have one I'll give it to you tomorrow. Once again Ash happy birthday. See you tomorrow."

"Good bye Ashy-boy. Smell ya tomorrow."

"Thank you, mom, for such nice day. I love you so much."

"I love you too sweetie, come on let's go inside, it's getting dark and you'll catch cold."

After going in side mom gave three glass tube or boxes??

"What are these mom?"

"These are called incubators Ash they keep eggs warm so that they can hatch. Keep those eggs inside this. Now we have to wait till they hatch."

"Mom which pokemon's egg did you give me. Looking at those two brought by Dragonite and Magmar they must me their eggs. What is in your egg??"

"It's a surprise sweetie. Now go to bed tomorrow you need to go to professor's lab. Good night."

"Can Eevee sleep with me mom??"

"Of course, take him with you."

"How do you know it's him??"

"You'll learn it at professor's lab. Sleep tight."

She kissed my forehead, switched light off, and closed the door. I drifted into sleep.
