The bright sun shone on the Pallet town of the Kanto Region. The beautiful morning brought a cheerful smile to everyone's faces. A seemingly young and beautiful lady was working on her porch tending the flowers which blossomed in her house. Her name was Delia Ketchum. She was three months pregnant with her child. Her husband Red, was the greatest pokemon trainer in the Kanto, earning the title of Kanto champion. But with fame comes haters.

An evil crime lord was running an organization called Team Rocket which caused havoc all over Kanto. Red had been trying to stop this organization from their evil plans for a long time. Which caused a lot of failures for the Team Rocket. Giovanni, the boss of team rocket was so frustrated that he had deployed many of his men to capture him. Red didn't want to risk the lives of his wife and child. So he fled away only telling Delia, his trusted friend Blue, and Professor Oak that he will come back one day.

He left his title in the hands of the Johto Champion Lance. Since then no one has seen him.

"Good morning Delia! I see your hard work to keep this house tidy and beautiful is coming well." Said an elderly man approaching the fence. He was nearly 47 years old, nearly all his hairs had turn grey. He was wearing a lab coat over his brown shirt and was wearing blue pants.

"Oh, professor oak a very good morning to you too. And thank you for the compliment. With Red being not home it makes me feel so lonely. And this gardening keeps me busy all day. It's a good distraction for taking my mind off him." she said. "I just can't stop to think about him. It's just I am so worried about him."

She was on the verge of tears. She couldn't help to think about the times when he put himself in danger during their journeys.

"Now my child doesn't cry. Red is a tough boy, sorry young man. And no one can harm him. You know that right. But till he returns you need to stay strong for yourself, for Red, for your child right. Now wipe those tears and get ready. We need to go for your monthly check upright." "Thank you, professor, I needed that." "No need to worry my child we are always there for you. I, Blue and Daisy are all ways here for your safety and time when you need."

"All right I'll be back." "Take your time Daisy has yet to come."

After few minutes Delia came out. Daisy and Prof. Oak were waiting in the car outside her house.

"Hi Daisy, how are you doing?"

"Morning Delia, I've been doing well. Those are such pretty flowers growing on your porch."

"Thank you so much, prof. and Daisy for being there for me every time I am in need."

"Now Delia you are being too much formal. We are a family right?"

"Yes, prof. but still, I just can't thank you enough."

"Very well both of you are in nice condition. There is no need to worry. Babies are fit and fine. But from today onwards I don't want you to do any heavy work which will affect your or baby's condition in any kind of way ok?"

"Thank you very much doctor, I'll take good care of these two."

---- In The Hall of Origins ----

Arceus had called a meeting for all the legendries.

"What is it, mother? You are still weak and haven't recovered yet" asked Verizon in concern. "It must be important that you called a meeting in this state."

"Yes, my child it's time that my mate should have the power which belongs to him."

"That's awesome mother, finally we can have a father." Said the cheerful Keldeo.

"But why are you sad mother??" asked Latios.

"It's nothing Latios, it's just I won't have him for all by myself."

"What do you mean mother??" asked Xerneas.

"Nothing it's just that time will give you the answers," answered Arceus. " All right Mew take this orb of energy to her, and give it to her baby while she's asleep ok."

"Yay! I'm the first one to meet dad. Yay!" cheered Mew.

Arceus just chuckled at Mew's excitement. "Remember that few of you will meet him in person before he meets me. But you won't know, and even if you know you aren't gonna tell him. I'll tell him by myself, understand."

Everyone nodded their head showing that they had understood her order perfectly.

"All right now dismiss. I need to sleep I'm tired."

Everyone left except Mew. "Sweet dreams mother." She teased. And flew away.

----- time skip ----- night at Ketchum Residences

Mew crept inside Delia's room. She made sure that Delia was sound asleep. Mew went to her stomach and kept the orb on her belly. It was suddenly absorbed in the baby's body and it started to emit a golden aura all over. After some time it started to fade away.

"I can't wait to meet you father." Said Mew and she left.

------ time skip --- 1 month later

Delia was on her way home after grocery shopping at Viridian. She was walking through route 1. She saw a that few pokémons were having a battle. Suddenly a tree started to fall on Delia. She ducked and braced herself for the impact. But it never happened she opened her eyes to see a blue-colored force shield had covered her and protected her from the impact. Three Pinser came lifted the tree and threw it away. A Pidgeot descended near Delia and nudged her. She looked at it. It was pointing its beak towards its back.

"Do you want me to ride you??" she asked. The bird nodded in agreement.

"Will it be safe?? I need to take care of my baby you know" she pointed at her belly. Pidgeot nodded. Delia hesitated a bit but sat on its back. The bird carried her bags in its claws and slowly headed towards the Pallet town. After few minutes they reached her house. Pidgeot slowly landed in the gateway. Delia thanked Pidgeot and started to walk inside. The bird followed her.

"Do you want to eat something??" she asked. The bird nodded. She gave it a bowl full of pokéfood. After finishing the bowl, it still stayed there. Delia was confused.

"Do you want to stay with me??"

Pidgeot nodded. "Alright come with me, maybe I can find a place inside to sleep."

They went in. Pidgeot found a comfortable place near the stairs.

Delia went into the bedroom. And laid on the bed. "Today sure was something weird."
