Hermione suddenly woke up at midnight. She couldn't sleep, not without knowing what was she going to do. Obviously she can't continue to stay with Draco at his place, there will be questions.

She needed to get back to her home, to her safe haven. Even if there was no one else there. But she won't break the news, she can't. Not yet, anyway, with everyone of her friends either married or busy at work. She felt miserable.

She even surprised herself by realizing she had Draco in her side now, as a healer and as her friend. She has someone to share here experience with. Something told her not to abandon the baby, she will never do that to an infant. It needs her help. Yes, she will make sure of that.

The decision was made, she will leave the same day after thanking him. She will anyway visit him during the regular check ups.

"Don't you dare implement it" a calm voice suddenly sounded close to her.

"Malfoy, ho..how are you here"?

He chuckled and replied "I just finished a book and before I went to bed I came in to check if you are sleeping without any trouble. But here you are, thinking about the national economy"

She laughed. "How did you find out I was deciding to implement something"?

"Oh Granger, after 7 years of going to school with you, I can easily find out when the gears start running in your head. It means either a master plan to defeat Voldemort or detention to me. Now though, you are thinking about leaving" He was kinda...sad?

She was torn between shock and wanting to laugh. He was something else.

"No point asking how did you find it out, now that you are a legilimens and all"

It was his turn to laugh. "You are easy to read, Granger"

"Should I be scared"?

"A little. And don't try and change the subject, you want to leave, don't you"?

"I don't want to but I can't continue staying here. Your friends or parents may come and I may have dizziness or vomitting, you know, I don't want to overstay my welcome"

"Nonsense. I can manage my friends and family. I can respect your decision about not disclosing the news to anyone but you can't stay alone in your place. You need someone to take care of you, and I am more than willing to do it."

"Malfoy, please understand, I.."

"Nah uh..don't 'Malfoy' me Granger, the decision is made. Now sleep"

"Is there any chance you will agree to my option if I offer you free cheesecakes rest of your life"?

He laughed till his eyes became moist. "Fat chance, Granger. But you are allowed to pamper me with cheesecake whenever you want" He was a child all right.
