After everything that happened at the overpass with the Y/N and his friends being swarmed and separated to what happened with Y/N and Saeko at the temple, a lot has happened to them. Luckiky now they all are together and have managed to regroup at Saya's house like they had planned. The morning after Y/N and Saeko had found shelter at the temple and two confesed their feelings for one another they came to Saya's house. Now all of them had to get use to being around adults again, adults who view them as helpless children who don't know anything. This is is especially difficult for all them given everything that they had been through these past days. Hopefully Y/N and the others will be able to get along and survive at this house of the dead.

"I don't know why but I wish we could stay here forever" Saeko tells Y/N as she puts her bra on

"Me too but unfortunately the world isn't in the right way for that to happen" Y/N says as he puts his shirt on, looking around at the large room he and Saeko are in

Right now Y/N and Saeko are on an extremely large bed in one of the many rooms that are in Saya's gigantic mansion home. Ever since their first real night together as a couple, things have kind of changed for Y/N and Saeko. The two call one another by their first names, they kiss one another along with other romantic stuff but the main difference is that the dynamic between the two of them has changed. They aren't just friends anymore they are more then that, now that they truly have someone to live for, fighting the undead and surviving means something different for them.

"I still can't believe that Takagi lives in this giant mansion" Y/N says

"The Takagi family is extremely wealthy so their choice of home doesn't even surprise me" Saeko says as she finishes putting the rest of her clothes on

"This room is about the size of my living room" Y/N says still sounding impressed

"I am going to guess and say you slept in a room far smaller then this" Saeko says to Y/N

"Yeah, my room was smaller then that wizard kid who lived under the stairs" Y/N said exaggerating a bit

"Another reason to hate your aunt and uncle" Saeko says with a glare

"Don't worry about them Saeko, they aren't a problem, I'm sure they've already gotten their comeuppance" Y/N says to Saeko, resting his hand on her arm calming her down

"You are right, there isn't a reason to dwell on that, like you said, things have changed" Saeko letting out a sigh

Saeko gets out of the bed and walks over to the door, looking at her beauty, Y/N is awe struck by Saeko

"Is something the matter?" Saeko asks Y/N

"Don't worry about it, I'm just glad I found someone like you to love" Y/N answers

Saeko blushes a bit, she tries to hide it and keep a serious look on her face but fails

"I am going to meet up with the others, I will meet you when you get there" Saeko tells Y/N before she leaves the room

"She really is something else" I say to myself

It had only been a day since Saeko and I had regrouped with the others at Takagi's house like we had planned. A lot has changed since the day at the overpass, for those who couldn't tell, Saeko and I were an item, a pair, boyfriend and girlfriend. You get the idea, that day at the shrine changed things for us. Her and I were both broken with haunting pasts, it seemed only natural that the both of us ended up together. I'm sidetracked here, let me focus now, ever since we got here at Takagi's house, all of us have noticed a few changes.

These changes were apparent and happened the moment that we came here and regrouped with the others. For starters, pretty much all of the adults here treat us like children and act like we don't know a damn thing. They took our weapons, especially our guns and made it know that us “kids” shouldn't be using them. We fought and argued but in the end we just left them in the humvee. There was no way in hell I was giving them any of my weapons especially the ones that had belonged to my previous family members. Besides that, there was also the fact that Takagi's dad was a bit intense and loomed over everyone who stayed on his property.

Honestly thinking about Souichiro Takagi and the way he acted and the kind of man he was reminded me of the day that I had met him with the others. It was the same day after everything that happened at the shrine and when Saeko and I killed the zombies that broke in and made our way here. We had regrouped with the others and all of us were brought to Takagi's father. Things got extremely interesting from that moment on and I had known from there that things were going to be interesting to say the least.

"So it appears that you have brought my daughter back to me" Souichiro had said to Y/N and the others

"Yes sir, we did all that we could to keep her safe" Y/N said bowing his head to Souichiro

"I see, I see, I can say that you all surprise me, seeing you all alive and not like them" Souichiro says to them

"Did you really think that I was dead father? Honestly it disgusts me that you didn't even bother to search for me" Saya says to her father with disgust

"Quiet Saya, you are here now" Souichiro tells Saya

Immediately Saya quiets down but Y/N and the others can see the angry look on her face and that she is trying to hold herself back

"Now, while all of you are here in my home you will be following my rules or there will be severe consequences, understand?" Souichiro asks Y/N and the others

Y/N and the others nod their heads answering Souichiro's question

"Yes sir, we understand" Y/N says to Souichiro

"Good, for starters you will be relinquishing all of your weapons over to us, you children do not need them" Souichiro tells Y/N and the others

Looking over at Kohta, Y/N can see the panicked look on his face as the thought of losing his guns crossed his mind

"This is just going to be great" Y/N thinks to himself

All of us were in the room that Komuro and Miyamoto were in, I could see that Komuro had bandaged up Miyamoto's chest. I realized that he must have really damaged her chest when he used her as a stand for the sniper rifle. Right now all of us were discussing what it was that we should do next. Takagi wanted to stay here with her parents since it was a safe option. Saeko and I wanted to continue to head towards Tokyo so we could get the evacuation site before the JDF abandoned it. One of the many things I noticed while we discussed on what to do was that Takagi was still mad that her dad thought she was dead and didn't bother to come looking for her.

"I don't know why he would think that I was dead" Saya said angered

"Come on Takagi we need to focus on what to do next" Komuro said to her trying to get her to focus

"No, you don't get it, my father decided that I wasn't worth looking for, you have no idea what that is like" Takagi said arguing with Komuro

I could sense where this was going and I didn't like it, unfortunately it was too late for me to step in and put a stop to things before it got to that level

"I wouldn't be talking like that Takagi, especially given the situation" Komuro tells Takagi

"And what situation is that?" Takagi asked Komuro sarcastically

"You are the only one who knows that their parents are still alive" Komuro answers coldly

He wasn't wrong, Takagi was the only one who knew that her parents were alive. Komuro, Miyamoto, Hirano and Saeko had no idea if their parents were alive or dead, or even undead. Hell, Alice and I were the only ones who didn't have parents so we didn't have all that much to worry about given the situation. Still, I could sense that the argument was going to continue and get out of hand so I stepped in.

"ENOUGH YOU TWO!!! At least all of you still have parents who are alive, drop the subject and let us move on to discussing on what we do next" I said getting everyone's attention and getting them to be quiet

All of them grew quiet and focused their attention on me, I couldn't believe that I basically told them my parents were dead

"Okay Tatagami, we're listening" Komuro said

"Geesh Tatagami, you didn't need to go there" Takagi said with a huff as she crossed her arms

Now that they were done arguing and were paying attention to me, I could come up with a plan for what we should do next

"We all know that Takagi's parents are alive now, I have a good feeling everyone else's parents made it to the evacuation site over in Tokyo, I believe it is in our best interest if we stock up here and then head out to the evacuation site before the JDF leaves for whatever reason" I told all them, giving them the plan on what we should do next

"This is the safest place we can be" Takagi said speaking up

"I know you feel that way but we truly aren't safe here, those gates can only stand for so long, I'm pretty sure we've seen what happens in situations like these in zombie movies and TV shows" I said giving them more of a reason as to why we should leave

"I just don't know" Takagi said sounding unsure

"He's right Takagi" Komuro said

"The gates usually get stormed and people end up dying" Hirano said

"You can ask your parents if they would like to head to the evacuation site with us" Saeko suggested to Takagi

"What if they say no?" Takagi asked

"Regardless if they say yes or no, we need to leave, if there is a chance to get away from this virus then those boats are our best chances" I answered

"I'm with Tatagami on this" Miss Shizuka said

"I'll follow big brother anywhere" Alice said as Zeke barked in agreement

"I'm gonna go pack up all our guns and gather us some ammunition" Hirano said

"I'll gather food and medical supplies" Saeko said

"I will join you" Miss Shizuka said

"Ooh, I want to come" Alice said

"I'll go and make sure the car is ready" Komuro said

"I think I might stay here and rest" Miyamoto said

"Looks like all of us are in agreement, let's get some air then get ready to leave" I said

All of us agreed and left the room to go and get ready to leave, right after we took a breather

Outside near the central area of the Takagi Residence, Y/N and a few of the others were getting some fresh air. They had come up with a plan and after they took a break they'd pack up and head out. Saeko was standing with Y/N, the two of them were talking about the plan and coming up with stops they could take if the situation arised out there on the road. Unfortunately something caught their attention as well as the attention of everyone else standing around them. Up on a wooden platform, Souichiro walked up with a katana in his hand. Next to him was two men pulling someone up onto the stage. That person just so happened to be the friend of Souichiro but was also and undead now. Souichiro had the two men chain the undead to the stage so he couldn't escape. After that Souichiro got the attention of everyone, he was going to show them something.

"Look everyone, your attention to me" Souichiro said getting everyone's attention

Everyone looked up at the stage and saw him draw his katana before lowering the blade down onto the neck of the undead

"Everyone, this man was once my friend, someone I trusted but now he is one of “them”, he is no longer human and no longer my friend, all he wants to do is seek out us humans and kill them, this is the how things have to be now" Souichiro said as he cut the head of the undead off

The head rolled off the stage and the body of the undead fell down and died once and for all

"This is the way of the world now, how things have to be in order for us to survive and to continue living, let it be known that you can't cure any of them, the only way is to end their suffering through death" Souichiro tells all of the people before he walks off the stage

You could hear the whispers of the people in the audience as Souichiro leaves. Y/N couldn't believe what he had seen, that was an execution but it did get the message across very clearly.

"That sure did get the point across" Y/N said looking at the people who had no idea what they had just seen

After that display, Saeko and I met up with Komura and the others, clearly there was a lot that we needed to talk about. For whatever reason though, we ended up talking about guns and swords and we all knew Hirano's stance on the matter.

"I still can't believe that you guys rely on swords" Hirano said

"You know Hirano, a sword is a lot more reliable then a gun" Komuro said

"Swords don't run out of ammo and they don't jam like one when the situation is dire" Saeko said to him

The others were agreeing with Komuro and Saeko, Hirano was beginning to get a bit nervous. He loved his firearms and was extremely critical about anything involving. There was no way that Hirano was going to agree with them which is why he turned to me.

"Come on Tatagami, you agree with me right?" Hirano asked me

"Sorry Hirano, while guns are useful they also have their drawbacks, a sword can also be useful as well, it just depends on the situation" I answered trying to not pick one side in this argument

"You guys just don't get it" Hirano said to us all before running off

"Just great" I said with a sigh

"Let's go talk to him" Miyamoto said

Y/N and the others went after Kohta to try and talk to him, he had run off towards the garage on the property. Once they had gotten there, they could see that Kohta had gotten himself into a bit of a problem. Kohta was trying to take some of the guns and people were stopping him. They were trying to take the guns away from Kohta but he wasn't going to let them. Y/N and the others ran towards them and tried to break things up before they got worse.

"Hirano, what is going on here?" Y/N asked Hirano

"Tatagami, they are trying to take them away from me" Kohta answered afraid

Y/N looked over at the men and saw that they had a few of the guns that were there's in their hands, especially Y/N's revolver and repeater

"I'll be taking those" Y/N said grabbing his guns and taking them away from the men

"You kids don't need these" one of the men said

"Yeah, you kids don't even know how to use these in the first place" another one of the men said to Y/N and the others

Immediately Y/N fired a shot from his revolver near the face of the man, hitting a metal can on the nearby wall

"You'd be surprised by how much we know" Saeko said as Y/N holstered his pistol

"What is going on here? Why did I hear a gunshot?" A deep serious voice asked

Turning around, Y/N and the others saw Souichiro standing there with his intimidating presence

"Sir, these kids are trying to take these firearms" one of the men answered

Souichiro looks at Y/N and the others, he doesn't say anything, he just looks deeply and seriously at all of them

"You there, who are you?" Souichiro asked Hirano

"My...My name is Hirano, Kohta Hirano and I go to school with your daughter Takagi" Hirano answered trying to not sound nervous

"I see, you don't look like much, what good can you do?" Souichiro asked Kohta

"You'd be surprised to know that Hirano here protected your daughter and brought her here" Y/N said sticking up for Hirano

"He clearly had help" Souichiro said looking at Y/N and the others

"We wouldn't have made it this far if it wasn't for Hirano, his knowledge and skill with firearms is what got us this far" Takashi said also sticking up for Hirano

"Is this true?" Souichiro asks Saya

"Yes it is true, Kohta has been keeping me safe ever since this thing started" Saya answered

"I don't believe it" Souichiro said looking at Kohta

"You should, he basically did your job for you, protecting your daughter and keeping her safe while you did nothing" Y/N said sounding angry

"And who might you be?" Souichiro asked Y/N

"Y/N Tatagami, I'm also one of the people who protected your daughter and got her here safe" Y/N answered telling Souichiro who he was

"Hmm, you seem extremely confident to speak to me in such a tone" Souichiro said

"Yeah, I have a problem with assholes who look down on others and don't care about the safety of their family members" Y/N replied

"Tatagami, you can't talk to my father like that" Saya said trying to get Y/N to stop talking

"Let him talk daughter" Souichiro told Saya

"Don't worry about me, I've said all that I needed to say and if he's got a problem with Hirano or me, we can fight it out, I don't mind" Y/N said drawing his katana and aiming it at Souichiro

The others began to panic and got fearful that Y/N was going to kill Souichiro. Saeko knew that Y/N wasn't going to kill him, she could see that he was just show Souichiro that he had no need to doubt them.

"There is no need for that, you've proven yourself truthful" Souichiro said lowering Y/N's katana

Y/N sheathed his katana as things began to calm down after what had happened

"Men, allow my daughter and her friends to have whatever the weapons, ammunition and other supplies they need" Souichiro told his people

"But sir they are just children" one of the men said

"Do not argue, these people are not children, they have proven themselves through surviving and making it here" Souichiro told the man

Y/N and the others were surprised to see Saya's father acting this way, especially after how he was originally acting

"Now daughter, you and your friends can stay as long as you need, I suggest that you stay the night" Souichiro told Saya before he walked away

I knew that I should have held back but if I didn't Takagi's father wouldn't have let us keep the guns. I didn't know how he was going to act but I was glad that he had given us what we wanted. I grabbed a rifle and walked over to Hirnao, handing it to him.

"Here you go buddy" I said handing him the rifle

"Thanks Tatagami" Hirano said quietly

"Don't mention it" I said patting Hirano on the back

"Thanks for standing up for me guys" Hirano said

"We're friends, of course we would stand up for you" I said

"Don't think much about it" Saeko said

"You know you really need to learn to stand up for yourself, next time we won't be around to help you" Takagi told Hirano

"I guess so" Hirano said embarrassed

"Go easy on him Takagi, your dad is extremely intimidating" I said to her

"Apparently not to you" Komuro said

"Speaking of that, we are going to have a long talk about how you should act around my father" Takagi told me with a serious look on her face

"I know I went a bit off the deep end but I had my reasons" I said

"Let's just move on and get back to working on getting out of here" Miyamoto said

"Well the humvee needs a bit of work so we'll be staying here for a bit" Hirano said
