A few months later

It was quiet and I liked it that way, at the same time hated it. Renee was caught up in hunting with Jacob, claiming she wanted to let me taste her secret new recipe. Grey was dragged out of here to go improve the security just in case a few vampires were around, since the red moon was in months.

I stabbed my fork into the remaining apple slice in the bowl and chewed faster than expected. I got up and dusted myself, flinching in pain when I strained myself so much.

This is great, just great. Don't worry Emily, just one more month.

Speaking of months, I haven't seen Hunter in a long while, I hope he was okay, ever since the vampires began roaming their place, his too afraid to leave and expose me as his mate.

I pushed open the door, wondering into the large hallway and finally made it into the kitchen. The chef turned and quickly trashed the dishes into the sink and ran for me.

"You should have called, Luna." He said, taking the bowl from me. "Anything you want? More apple slices? Or maybe something else?" He asked, walking back to the sink.

I looked around the kitchen, towards the ingredients, I walked to the fridge and found some homemade yogurt. His yogurts were always the best.

"I'll have this, thanks." I said and he rushed over, taking the container's lid off and dipped the spoon before smiling and walking back. I turned and walked into the hallway again, deciding to take a fresh walk, just a bit. I pulled the doors open that had no guards. Probably in training. I scooped a spoon full of yogurt and hammed as I took in the deliciousness.

"Emily!" A very unfamiliar voice said. I looked around but saw no one in sight. I glanced down at the yogurt and wondered if nothing was put in here. "Emily!"

I was suddenly span round and there stood an old woman, her grey hair strands nearly standing on top of her head, her eyes drowsy and grey with skin that nearly hang from her body. who . Her skin was too pale and her nails were long, red and sharp. Her eyes looked as though she was blind but I could tell she could see very well.

"Excuse me?" I asked, a bit afraid of her. She ignored me and stared down at my bump, slowly resting her hand on top of it.

"She's in trouble," she suddenly said as she shut her eyes. "You have to stay as far away as possible during the blood moon. You're not safe here, and you're not safe with Hunter."

"Wait... What-"

"Ssssh, she's in trouble." She placed her finger on my lips to shush me, my heart suck in fear before I caught sight of Grey just walking here. His eyes went wide as he ran for me.

"Hey!" Grey yelled and the woman didn't even turn but looked at me.

"She's in trouble," she whispered and when Grey reached out for her, she just disappeared into thin air. I gasped looking at Grey who looked shocked then worried as he looked at me. He walked to me and cupped my cheeks, checking me for any bruise.

"What was she doing? Did she hurt you? Are you okay? Is the baby okay?" He asked, still checking.

"I'm fine she... She kept on saying 'she's in trouble' maybe she's taking about the baby," I said and he frowned, furrowing his eyebrows.

"What's wrong with the baby? Why is she in trouble?" He asked and I shrugged.

"You scared her away." I said getting a little annoyed.

"Did she look like a person who'd get scared?" He asked, trying to joke around.

"She said I have to get away during the red moon." I said and looked at the spot she had disappeared.

"Oh no.... " he sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I talked to the doctor this morning and he said that's the day you'll be having her. "

"What!?" I clenched my fists, "what will I do!? That creepy woman said she's in trouble!" I freaked out and frowned deeply.

"We can't leave sooner, the place is surrounded by hallows and vampires, I can just assemble about twenty guards to protect you." He said.

"Just unite with Alpha Max, Grey, or else we'll all die, his mate just had their baby and you can't risk it." I said and he sighed, nodding in response.

"Anything for you sweety." He kissed my cheek and I smiled.
