After my dream ended, I found myself in my room. Mom was by the door. "Mom?"

"Hey. You're up." She sat down on my bed.

"I saw them."

"Saw whom?"

"Dad and Ms. Stanley."

"Honey, it's only a dream."

"I know about the divorce."

"Yes, Jem told you."

"No, there's more."

"What?" I revealed the flashing sphere and what it's shown. Was Mom livid or offended?

No, she was too speechless. When she regains her thoughts, she said, "You're not angry."

"Of course not. I was angry because I thought you resent me."

"No, no, I don't. And I'm sorry that I made you felt like that."

"Ms. Stanley knew you don't."

"She was a good soul. You wouldn't believe this; I looked at your pictures."

"You have?" She nodded.

"You got your father's touch." Mom smiled as she touched my head.

"Get some sleep."

"Mom?"

"Yes?"

"Will you come to an art festival at school?"

"Of course."

"Mom?"

"Yes, Gem?"

"It's neat having you around."

"Good night, dear." She grinned as she closed the door.
