《Caught (ON HOLD)》Chapter Two Robert Mythe

Conilinia is quieter than it was the last time I was here. I am here collecting a copy of my paper, Sebastian sent me for it. The train ride here, made me sick to my stomach, and no doubt it will on the way back either.
"Hay, you there." Someone yells. A limit guard. They make sure order is maintained in the states. "Who are you? I haven't seen you around." He adds. I attempt to slow my breathing, so I don't seem intimidated.
"I'm a debt servant." I say, and offer him my papers.
"Your not running away are you? That will add a year to your sentence." He says, then takes my paper.
"No I'm running, I was sent for this." I says. He doesn't seem to hear me.
"Your owner is the president's kid?" He asks. Aparently so. "Carry on."
The train is basically empty, and I take my seat under the bench. I've been here for three weeks, and Sebastian conveniently forgot to mention his dad was the reason why. I run down the short cut, and up the stairs.
"WHY WOULD YOU NOT TELL ME YOU DAD IS THE PRESIDENT?!" I yell. He stands up quickly and turns around.
"Calm down Jennifer. Who told you?" He asks.
"A limit guard! A stupid limit guard." I say, more calm than the first explosion.
"Did you punch this one?" He now yells in a joking tone. That was enough to make me smile.
"A person only does that once." I say. He chokes on his laughter.
"Isn't that the truth." I smile, and look at the floor.
"Can I um, go on a walk?" I ask. He nods.
"Don't go far."He says, and i walk out the door.
The air is still cold, winter is trying to take over. I walk the long way, stray as far from Jacob's house as possible.

The thunder of hooves on the ground, suddenly snaps me back into reality.
"EVERYBODY MOVE! GET OUT OF THE WAY!" A girl yell. I jump out of the way as she's thrown from the horse, and on the dirt path. "CATCHER!" She yells, but the horse doesn't stop.
"Are you okay?" I ask, she turns her head to me.
"Sorry, he's a mess." She says. I smile at her and offer a hand.
"It's okay. I'm Jennifer by the way." She takes my hand, and I pull her up.
"Hey, I'm Bishop." She says.
"You want some help catching your horse." I asks, a look of relief sweeps over her face.
"Yes." She answers.
By the time we catch up to Dream Catcher, we're both covered in sweat.
"Do you have the horse?" I pant.
"Yes," she replies.
"You you want to just sit on the railing of my owners front porch, and talk?" She nods. "I'm a debt servant." I say. Answering her wordless question.
Once back at Sebastians she ties Catcher to the porch railing. The door opens from the inside.
"Jennifer is that-GET THAT FILTHY THING OF OF MY PORCH!" He yells, who knew Sebastian dislikes horses. She walks with him down, and starts to leave. "I hate horses." Then she turns around, and is on the porch again. The she punches him, is the side of the head, enough to knock him out, because his knees buckle and he collapses.
"Where am I?" Sebastian asks as he opens his eyes.
"Your bed." I say, trying desperately to keep my voice calm. "My well, friend I guess, brought her horse on the porch, you said you hate horses, she knocked you out." I add. He sits up, and looks at me where I sit in a chair next to his bed.

"Then?" He asks.
"I called your father, and carried you in here." I say. He swiftly grabs the my shoulder, and kisses me. I stand up and walk towards the door.
"Your right eye is swollen, I'm going to get you some ice." I say.
"Jennifer-"
"You need some ice." I say, and duck into the hall. I flop down on the couch, and lose my eyes.
When I open them again I'm laying in my bed, and it doesn't take a minute to figure out how I got here. I walk down the stairs, and sit down on a stool. I gasp as Sebastian turns around.
"What exactly happened to... Bishop?" He asks. I smile just in the memory of it.
"Um, debt, just like me." I say. Its strange how many thing filter into debt servant.
"Oh yeah, dad's getting lazy. Who?" I smile again.
"You're going to laugh." I say. "But, Jacob." He snorts and bursts into a coughing fit.
"I'm going to go to the healers and get you something for your eye." I say. I passed it on my walk so I know where it is.
"Okay, and thanks again." He says. I walk the short cut, and down the main road until I find the small wooden building.
"Hello ma'am how can I help you?" Asks a tall brown haired man. his name tag reads.
Tyeer Osmoond
"Something for swelling, that's safe to use on a eye." I say. He scribbles on a piece of paper.
"Can I get a name?" He asks.
"Jennifer Hope, for Sebastian Mythe." I say. He hands me a jar of cream, and I leave. I start to walk the dirt path, but then I see them. Jacob and Bishop. Only Bishop sees me back. She runs towards me, and punches me several times, and slaps me. She leaves and i lay on the ground, bruised and a deep scratch on my upper lip.
I slip in the front door of Sebastian's house, and create a wall of hair between him and my face. But when I hand him the jar, my wall is broken.
"What happened?" He orders an explanation.
"I was attacked my Bishop, on my way back." I reply.
He turns me around and walks me back to the healers. I get ten stitches on my lip, and pain meds for the rest. Sebastian orders me to sleep, but I can't. So after a hour I walk down stairs.
"I believe I told you to sleep." He says.
"I couldn't." I reply. then there is a knock on the door, a president Robert Mythe is standing in the living room.
"I am coming to see my son is not seriously injured." He says. "Hello Jennifer-What happened to you?" He asks.
"Sir, I was punched several times." I reply.
"Well thank you for calling." He says.
"Just doing my job." I reply. "Congratulations, on the whole president thing." I say.
"Well dad, its getting late, I think you better head home." Sebastian says.
"Call me sometime." Mythe says. The night becomes quiet.
Then a ear splitting scream break the silence. I run out of the door just in time to see the president collapse and a tall brown haired man run around the corner, knife in hand.

Reborn as a DRAGON
My name is Tim, or it was until I died. There was no light at the end of the tunnel, no white room to choose any cheats from, nor was there any meeting with God. I didn’t die heroically while saving someone, and I certainly didn’t get hit by a truck. My death was rather stupid and anticlimactic, I had apparently bumped my head while sleeping and passed away... That should have been the end of the road for me, but like many self-proclaimed main characters, I joined the army of multi-dimensional travelers and was reincarnated. Being an avid light novel and manga reader, I would have been excited about the opportunity, if not for my new siblings, who tried to kill me as soon as I was born, or for my mother, who seemed to have a thing for throwing me off cliffs. And let’s not forget my murderous father, who forced me to flatten a small country as my Rite of passage. Oh, did I mention I was reborn as a Dragon? Saga of Fallen Kings, Book I: The Revenant Prince
The Philosopher King once conquered the known world, his power seemingly unlimited and his armies inexhaustible. Since that time his might has slowly unravelled, and his once steadfast empire has begun to crack, splinter and devour itself. In the isolated Southern Realms, where even magic has abandoned them, none of that matters. For years it has been filled with warring kingdoms, where as many kings die to the blade as to old age, and constant battles tear apart the land. When one such kingdom invades its old enemy, the King and his heir, Prince Caden, are killed. Unable to accept the loss of his family Prince Arian is broken, and when the Philosopher King stretches out his hand in aid, Arian takes it without a second thought. When Caden wakes from death, he's different. His eyes and soul have changed, and he finds a world filled with friends who no longer trust he's even human. Suddenly thrust onto the throne and indebted to the Philosopher King, Caden has no choice but to keep going - he must finish what his father started, and try to survive the machinations of the figure who now owns his fealty. Meanwhile something beyond death stirs for him, desiring nothing more than to drag him back into its embrace. Author's Note: This story used to be known as "A King of his Own", but after some consideration I have decided to rebrand it. The first reason is that I was growing increasingly dissatisfied with the title. The second is that I have come increasingly to view this story as a 'saga' containing multiple 'books' rather than one long, continuous publication, and as I did so I realized that as I was quickly getting to a point in the story where I wanted the first 'book' to end. This doesn't mean I'm going back on the things I said below - they're just going to continue in the next book of the Saga of Fallen Kings. :) Also, be aware that I do plan to edit this at some point. Though I take care to squash out any obvious errors when I proof-read, and do simple edits in that process, at some point I'm almost certainly going to do large edits that might significantly change parts of the story. Old author's notes: This started as a completely random writing session. There was no purpose or direction, but as I kept typing an entire world began to form in my mind that I knew I had to write about. My plan is to turn this story into a veritable medieval fantasy epic that spans an entire world, follows multiple character and storylines, and takes place over many years. The story has quite a grounded, almost 'realistic' start, but many more fantastical elements will be introduced, expanded upon and become central to the narrative. I have ideas for this story that make me genuinely excited and I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy writing it, and join me on what will hopefully become a truly massive fantasy epic. If you do enjoy this story please consider following, rating and leaving a review. I'm also happy to answer any questions or comments you have.
