《Colorado Springs Drama》Chapter 1: Big News: Moving Day
Advertisement
It all started when my brother, Sam, and I came home from school. Our mom is sitting in the living room.
"Kids," she called, "are you here?" "We just came in," Sam said. "Good. Come into the living room. I have some news for both of you."
As we walked in, I asked, "What is it?" "I got a new job," Mom said. "Is that it," I asked in disbelief. "Well, no. Guess where it is," she replied.
"In Savannah," Sam said. "Nope," Mom said. "In Jonesboro," I said. "In Atlanta," Sam said. "Nope," she said. "Just tell us. Where is it," I asked. "In Colorado," she said, bursting. "We're moving OUT of state?!!?" "Yes, Taylor, we are," Mom said.
I thought that this news is as worse as my parents' divorce.
"Look, I know this might sound bad to you, but, hey, at least you could start a new life. Besides, you can try to forget my divorce with your dad." "I rather live with Dad than to move," I scolded.
I ran to my room and slammed the door.
"Do you mind talking some sense to your sister," Mom asked Sam. "I'll try," Sam said.
He came to my bedroom door, knocking.
"Come in," I mumbled angrily. Sam came in and sat on my bed. Here is the thing: when it comes to Sam's pep talks, he'll sound so convincing, anyone could be convinced. He said, with his blue eyes shining like the stars, "Look, T, I know that you approve moving from town to town, but Mom is doing what's best for us. I'm mad about her divorce with Dad, too."

"You can't let it trouble you forever. What would you, Taylor Audrey Anderson, want if we leave?" I thought for a while, and said, "I just don't want to be an outcast." Sam smiled and stroked my long and brown hair, saying, "Just hope for the best, sis."

Getting Hard (Journey of a Tank)
Herald Stone always built tank characters in every MMORPG he played. To be immortal—that was his first Goal, a simple childhood dream. However, the turbulent realities of life put an end to his gaming days. Years passed, and Herald Stone, now having attained success and stability, was presented with the opportunity to redeem himself...to fulfill his first Goal. Trivial? Childish? Others might think so. But Herald Stone always fulfilled his Goals—every single one. No matter what. Immortality beckoned in Mother Core Online, and this time Herald Stone would answer. Choosing a long-forgotten race, hidden away in an unknown region, the journey of an immortal tank begins. This is the tale of Herald Stone...getting hard. Schedule: Mon-Wed-Fri-Sat, 10am Central/ 3pm GMT. ~1.8k-2.3k words per chapter. Also published on Scribblehub. My other ongoing story: REND | Royal Road Expect a focus on building a true tank in MMORPGs. Heavy game elements and numbers are present. But actual math will take a backseat to strategies involving skill builds and synergies that steadily become more complex while remaining understandable. The main character is atypical in LitRPGs or web novels as a whole. He might take some getting used to. Character arcs will develop over a long period. What you see now will be different as the main character changes. The start of Getting Hard is slow-paced (more so than others of the genre) and includes world-building and character development before focusing on the LitRPG.

Dracula: Patient zero
A new take on the subject of vampirism. Who was the patient zero? What do we truly know about Vlad the impaler ? A quick look at the man behind the legends known today as Dracula the first Nosferatu. ------ Author's note: I'm self-taught in English, so the grammar may suck. I'm no professional writer so the writing style may suck. I hate FF that spend entire chapters describing stuff.. So my describing skills may suck. The main character will also suck... (Blood) I'm writing this just for fun, so if you enjoy, good for you... If not.. Then suck it..
