"I should be going with you." Bellamy complained as he watched Nia get ready for the summit.
"It's just Polis, nothing will happen. Jade and Fox are coming with me while Alec will join you at the mountain." Nia informed hoping it might give him a sense of comfort.
"I'd rather be there if anything should go wrong." Bellamy insisted.
"We'd be under the protection of the commander, Bellamy. Beside your leg needs to heal." Nia added in.
"My leg is fine. Kane is just putting me on the run because of what happened with Ice Nation." Bellamy disagreed with her reasoning.
"Well there is nothing we can do now. We'll go to the summit and maybe convince Lexa about the mountain. You just make sure the exposition team will be okay." Nia tried to reassure.
Bellamy sighed knowing there was nothing he could do. Kane had made up his mind. He just needed to accept that fact but it was easier said then done.
The couple made their way down to the hanger where the teams would be meeting. Nia and Jade would ride on a horse together while Fox would take Alec's horse. But since Fox would take Alec's horse that left Alec riding in the Rover.
Soon it was time for Nia to leave. Bellamy gave her a kiss before she mounted her horse and helped the younger girl behind her. They looked at each other one more time before the group left. Bellamy turned and went back to helping the others load up.
They traveled on the road toward Polis and not long after they arrived outside the city. They parked their truck and began to unload.
"We're at the Polis city limits. From here, we go on foot. Lexa's guards will be here soon. All guns and radios stay in the truck. Her people will escort us to the summit. Nelson, Hall, stay here, man the radio?" Kane began to relay instructions.
But when he went to the back he noticed something on one of his guards. He checked behind him to see if Nia was close by. But the girls were gathered at the sign and unloading themselves from the weapons.
"What is that?" He hissed out as he looked at the device.
"It's a med kit." The guard answered simply.
"A med kit from Mount Weather? The place where thousands of their people were killed. You can't bring this into Polis." Kane informed. How Nia had acted before suggested that they wouldn't be so open with opening Mount Weather for medical reasons but hopefully this summit would help them. But right now they couldn't have anything break the truce when they were so close to establishing a better one.
"Don't take it out on him. If you're going to be mad; be mad at me." Abby input. She knew he been mad with her recent decision.
"Moving people into Mount Weather puts our entire agenda at risk. You knew that. And you did it anyway." Kane spoke in a hushed tone. Nia hadn't been privy to this information seeing how she had reacted the last time, they saw it best that they keep the information from her.
"Would you preferred that I let Nyko die?" Abby questioned the subject that started the whole thing.
"We're past that. Opening a hospital is one thing, moving Farm Station survivors in is another." Kane addressed their current standings.
"It was a few people, Marcus. An exploratory group." Abby stated her reasoning.
"That's not the point. Now we have to explain. Taking attention away from everything else we've been negotiating for lifting Lincoln's kill order, opening trade routes, getting Clarke back." Kane paused realizing his mistake. "I shouldn't have said that. Clarke's not a bargaining chip."

"What if they won't give her back? Then it's my fault?" Abby addressed the possibility.
"We won't leave without your daughter. I promise." Kane reassured.
It was only a moment longer that they waited for the guards to come a retrieve them. Nia and Fox were allowed to lead the horse in so they would be replenished. The group were anxious to see the capital and for the outcomes that laid ahead.

Octavia was the first to hop out of the Rover when it came to a halt, Alec was quick to follow. The group had left a few minutes after the others left for Polis and made their way toward Mount Weather.
"I knew I should have taken my horse." Octavia complained out loud and Alec couldn't agree more, but seeing how Fox took his he had no choice.
Bellamy slumped out of the Rover and looked in the direction of Polis. His mind had wondered more than once to Nia and Jade for their safety.
"Hey." A quiet voice sounded behind him. "The summit will be fine." Gina tried to reassure. During the trip she had more than once tried to speak with him but he seemed closed off to his surroundings.
"I should be there." Bellamy spoke about his predicament once more.
"Then you wouldn't be here with me." Gina tried to flirt back hoping to bring his attention from Nia who wasn't even there.
But neither one noticed the person behind them who had his eyes on them since they entered the Rover. Alec didn't like how Gina was trying to pull Bellamy's attention to her. She had tried many times in the past but Bellamy always seemed to overlook it. He always thought that Nia deserved the best and hoped that Bellamy would be able to provide it for her. But something about this time made him iffy.
"You make a good argument." Bellamy said back much to Alec's shock. Not one had Bellamy flirted back with Gina and he felt obligated to remind him of Nia.
"If you're worried about Nia, she can handle herself." He made his presence known. Gina looked down knowing Bellamy's attention would be pulled from her once more while Bellamy sighed knowing Alec was right. Nia had proven herself more than once but he couldn't help but be overprotected. "Besides Lexa would ensure their safety above all."
"Besides, as soon as your leg heals, you'll be right back out there." Gina tried to salvage any attention back.
"My leg's fine. Kane's trying to teach me a lesson." Bellamy expressed out his reasoning for not going to Polis. He knew why he was there and he was done discussing the fact that he had messed up.
Gina stayed silent at his tone. Something told her that she wouldn't be able to gain his attention again. She wondered how her life would've been if Nia hadn't come to camp or even if she made a move sooner but now it was only simple thoughts that might've been. So instead she turned and pulled her pack from the Rover.
By then Raven had gotten their attention with a story about Sinclair. When she had finished her story they had entered the mountain and made their way toward the common room.
Alec had been more than hesitant to enter seeing how the mountain had brought much terror to their people but he entered regardless. He walked a few steps behind the Blake siblings and looked over their shoulders at the sight. He had known about Nyko being taken to Mount Weather's medical but nothing about moving people in and if he didn't know Nia didn't either.

"Welcome. Come. Join us." Pike was the one to address them when they appeared.
"Someone's made themselves at home." Raven commented about the people around the room.
"There must be thirty of them in here." Octavia noted the number of people in the room.
"Thirty-six, but the more the merrier." Pike corrected, his eyes settled on Alec and noticed the differences that suggested he wasn't one of them.
"Thirty-six? Wow! The Grounders are going to think we moved in." Octavia said with no humor.
"Well, there was no room at the inn." Pike retorted back his eyes not leaving Alec's as he looked around the room.
"And this is your option?" Octavia fired back.
"O." Bellamy interjected, the conversation was steering into a direction that wouldn't turn out good.
"I'm outta here." Octavia cut off not wanting to argue with either one. She dropped her bags and left the room.
Alec had known that the man's gaze was on him since he had entered and felt like this was the time to leave. He dropped the bags in his hands as well. "I'm going to check the perimeter." Was all he offered as he left the room deciding not to enter again.
"Spirited." Pike noted about Octavia's behaviour.
"Yeah." Bellamy simply.
"What's his deal?" Pike decided to question about Alec.
"Alec and Nia helped us when we were first getting settled." Bellamy provided wondering where Pike was going with it.
But they didn't exchange many words after that. Pike went about his business while Bellamy went to put the supplies they brought away. When everything was put away Bellamy decided to go out and find the two people that had left earlier.
He walked out the mountain and looked around hoping to locate someone. It wasn't till he looked above the door that he saw his sister. "You okay?"
But the only answer he received was a timid nod. So he made his way over toward the ladder on the side and climbed up. He took a seat beside by Octavia.
"This is such a mistake. The Grounders will never accept it." Octavia expressed about Farm Station moving into Mount Weather.
"We're not the Mountain Men, O. Nia, Lincoln, Nyko and even Alec will make them see that." Bellamy comforted.
"How? Lincoln has a kill order on him. He can't even leave camp without risking his life. Nia has been doing everything she can and she can't get the order lifted." Octavia retorted back.
"The summit will take care of that." Bellamy reminded her of the purpose they went to Polis.
"Then we could finally get out of here." She admitted rapidly forgetting that Bellamy didn't know their plans. It was silent for a moment as they thought of what she said. "I'm sorry, Bell. But I don't fit in here."
"If you need to leave, then I get that. But you'll always fit in with me." Bellamy supported. He knew how she felt on the Ark and how being isolated had taken a toll on her life. Now being on Earth had changed her for the better, she was stronger.
Their moment was ruined when they saw a group come from the trees. For a second he thought it was Alec but couldn't see him among them.
"What now?" Octavia questioned as they both made their way over.
"Echo?" Bellamy asked once he got a closer look at who the men had a hold of.
"You know her?" Octavia picked up on his question.
"Yeah, she's Ice Nation. She was in the cage next to mine." He informed.
"Bellamy." Echo cried out once they had stepped close.
"Let her go." He ordered the two.
"She threatened the summit." One informed making his blood run cold. His thoughts immediately went to Nia and Jade. Were they okay?
"I was trying to help." Echo tried to counter only for one of them to tell her to shut up and kicked her to her knees.
"Leave her alone." Octavia went forward.
"I said get your hands off her." Bellamy demanded this time. While Octavia had began to cut the restraints of Echo's wrist.
"What are you doing? She's a Grounder." One of them asked but received no answer.
"What are you talking about?" Bellamy asked trying to figure the whole thing out.
"The summit's a trap. The assassin is already there. At sundown, your people will die including the traitor who choice Skaikru over her clan." Echo infomed giving Bellamy no comfort.
They made their way inside and sat Echo down so she could explain further. On the way in Bellamy had hoped to see Alec to help support Echo's position but he was nowhere in sight.
"I was with the queen's army heading toward Polis. The war chief talks too loud." Echo provided her source.
He was already on edge knowing the summit was in danger and Nia and Jade were there. But ever since he heard she was a main target made him want to leave that second.
"You're one of them. So why are you telling us this?" Pike was skeptical of the whole situation.
"We abandoned Skaikru in the battle of the mountain. It was wrong." Echo admitted.
"And they won't miss you?" Pike questioned further.
"Maybe. That's why we need go hurry." Echo said looking to Bellamy for support.
"Pike, she saved my life. We can trust her. Listen up." He told those around him. "Okay, if we want go get to Polis before the attack, we have to move."
"Attack? Do we have confirmation of that?" Sinclair questioned coming into the conversation.
"We radioed, but no answer." Bellamy informed.
"They may already be dead for all we know. And if they are, we need to be ready to respond." Pike said thinking of the aftermath.
"Don't make this about the missiles." Sinclair input not liking the direction he was going.
Soon they were discussing the missiles and how they would access them but all Bellamy wanted to do was get to Polis. He wanted to make sure Nia and Jade were safe.
He was brought back to the task at hand when he heard Pike who dragged Echo along with him. He went to walk out as well but was stopped by Gina. The girl looked to be having an inner conflict with herself.
"You should stay here. Help them get those missiles ready to launch." He decided for her.
"Don't do anything stupidly heroic." Gina said, the situation had gave her a bad feeling and she didn't want Bellamy to do something that would get him killed.
"Garden variety heroic. Got it." Bellamy comforted but knew that if it came down to it he would do whatever he had to to keep Nia and Jade safe.
The two shared a hug before Bellamy left the room. Gina sighed in defeat as she thought to kiss him but choice not to instead. She knew that that might be one of the things she would regret.
When they got outside Bellamy looked for Alec once more. Having him along would better help their chances but he was no where. He wondered where exactly he might be but right now getting to Polis was the important thing.
But little did they know was that Alec had been bound and knocked out not far from the perimeter. He had been attacked moments before Echo made her appearance.
