《Coding His Heart // dreamnotfound》nine

Flipping on his side to face away from the wall the bed stood against, George yawned quietly. His eyes slowly opening and adjusting to the brightness from the sun.
For the last couple weeks, him and Dream had been
accommodating to the university life style along with everyone else.
And well to be truthful they had also been accommodating to each other as well... But that's for another day.
To be completely truthful, George hadn't been this happy in a long time. In fact this might be the happiest he's ever been.
Was he dating someone?
No.
But he and Dream talked about them. And their conclusion was to see where life would take them. George was completely content with that too.
For now.
By this time it was nearly 8 am and George wanted to get up and check his phone which was across the room.
He started to move but was stopped by Dream's arm around his waist.
"George.." Dream said still half asleep.
"Don't leave." His morning voice raspy and deep.
George laughed quietly as he placed his hand on Dream's to try and not wake him anymore.
"It's almost time for classes, you need to get dressed." George whispered to Dream.
Eventually he wiggled out of the others strong grip. Picking up his shirt from the ground just before he went to his closet.
After George was fully dressed and ready for class he glanced back to Dream who still, had yet to get out of bed.
"Dream come on, you're gonna be late." George scoffed and picked up his phone.
Wilbur had texted him, nothing urgent but still some fun news that is.
"George! You're supposed to remember me after you move to uni! Haha anyways I've made a new friend myself and I still need to meet yours. Want to go get a drink sometime with us?"

He smiled, oh how he missed his friends. Since school started he hadn't much time for gaming or anything fun- well scratch that, just gaming.
George quickly sent a text to Wilbur before heading back to Dream to pull him out of bed.

Finally, it was the last class of the day. And his favorite! George not only got to start his coding/computer science class but he and Dream were in it together.
"Do you want to go and get dinner tonight?" Dream said softly as the professor spoke at the front of the room. All the lights were off as he did the presentation.
George set his pencil down and took out his phone.
"Yeah that sounds great. But I want you to meet my friend sometime. He wants to get drinks with us." George said as he handed his phone to Dream.
The other quickly read it and nodded. Sliding the phone across the table back to George.
"Sounds fun, but tonight?" He asked knowing it was Tuesday and their study night.
George chuckled softly, "No the weekend. I'm not stupid like you."
Dream threw his pen down and laughed a little louder than he probably should. Especially with this professor.
"Really? If anything you're the stupid one. I had to help you with simple math that could be done in your head!" Dream teased as he gently pushed George.
"Well I'm not the one who-"
"Excuse me. Is there something you two would like to explain to the class? Since it is so important that you must talk while I do?" The professor said harshly, his arms crossed.
By now the whole room had turned and was staring at the two boys. Kind of chilling to be honest.
"Well I um-"
"No, sorry Sir. I missed some notes and George was just catching me up." Dream said as he smiled awkwardly.

"You already have a bad rep for being American, don't fulfill the title you have." The professor said as he turned and went back to teaching.
"I think we should pay attention now." George joked with a smirk.
"You think?" Dream smiled back. Taking George's hand under the table as they continued notes.
Finally after two long hours the class ended and the two could head back to their room. Today was super long, Dream didn't even get his nap.
Just before they stepped out of the classroom their professor stopped them.
"Boys, come here for a second." He said in a stern tone.
George and Dream both looked at each other and just shrugged. They thought they were out of trouble earlier.
Once in front of his desk, the professor set his papers down and glared at them. The silence lasted for an eternity.
"Is something-" Dream started.
"This class is not a time for you two to joke and talk through. I grade a little more harsh than most here because I grade based on your performance. And so far, you both are starting to get on the bad end."
George never liked these talks from his teachers. And this was probably the worst one yet.
"Now I could care less if you two are just stupid and acting out. But not in my class. And for gods sake keep your hands off each other."
Dream was shocked, how did he see anything? Besides him and George weren't really doing anything..
"Yes, I can see it. I can sense it. You two have it for each other. Right?"
Neither said a single thing. They were just stuck in the same spot.
"Right? You touch him on the leg every ten minutes. On the dot." He said referring to George.
"And you, you cannot go two seconds without looking at him or pushing or whatever the hell you do can you?" Referring to Dream this time.
Not only had Dream had enough of this bullshit the teacher seemed necessary to bring up, but he wouldn't let someone talk like that about George.
George was the smartest person Dream had every met. And who is this "professor" to call him stupid.
That's it.
"To be respectful sir, I don't see how this conversation pertains to his or my grades. And you have no say in our personal life either. So if you have any actual concerns about our time in this class, there's a thing called email." Dream snapped at the professor after taking all the crap he could.
"Come one George, let's go." Dream said and he took the others hand in his and stormed out of the classroom.
After both the boys had got to their dorm room Dream sighed.
"I'm sorry. I wasn't going to sit there and let him talk.. talk shit about you. He knows nothing about you and I wish I-"
George had gently cupped the others face in his hands. Making him make eye contact. Dream immediately stopped talking as he gazed back at George.
"Dream, I think I really like you." George said with a sweet genuine smile.
Before he could speak George had pulled him close for a kiss. This time he'd only pull away after Dream would.
The attitude and anger towards that professor instantly melted away as he and George shared another sweet, time stopping moment.
The two continued to share kisses until both were nearly gasping for air.
This is true happiness.
And that's all they needed.

Life, the struggle for existence
What would happen when man had to, once again, fight for its own right to live? Would the evolutionary counterparts of our ancestors manage to life through the struggle for survival? What would happen to society if a new reason for living came up, other than the enjoyment of the well-built environment? A reason that could either unite or destroy humanity. This is the struggle for their right of existence. As earth and its inhabitants are faced with the fear of unknown danger and the peril of monstrosities, some will falter, some will die and some will live on to tell the tales of those forgotten. As reality dictates, most will be part of the first two groups and only a small faction will be part of the latter. *This is my first attempt at writing fantasy, so I do hope you’ll enjoy it. The story is one of apocalyptic nature, with gigantic monsters, unfathomable powers and also a critial view on humanity and what it means to be human. I will definitely try to stay away from any tropes that are not neccesary to write fantasy, as I thoroughly despise non-creativity. There shall be no harems, no unrealistic behavior and absolutely no standard scene of dimwitted bandits that try to rob whatever similarly rock-brained princess they encounter. The main character is not black and white, because no human is completely good or completely evil. They’re human, not some idealistic concept of what one is supposed to be. Enjoy!Warning: Tagged 17+ for the occasional strong language and violence, some mild sexual content can occur in the distant future.
