What can he say, After yesterday Dream knew he had George wrapped around his finger- or was it the other way around?
No matter how much Dream went back and forth with himself on if he should go slow and just go for George, he never came to a solid game plan.
Unfortunately though university starts today and his first class is at nine. And of course his nerves got him up bright and early.
Taking this opportunity to get dressed as George was passed the hell out.
God I wish I could sleep as good as he did.
Dream stepped in front of the mirror to fix his bed hair. For a crappy night of sleep his hair sure was a mess.
The mirror gave a perfect view of George as he rested so peacefully in bed, his mouth just slightly ajar as he took several shallow breaths.
He could look at George for hours and never get bored of it.
Almost on queue, George's eyes snapped open and met Dream's in the mirror
"What the hell-" Dream nearly yelled as he quickly turned on his heel to face George.
"Hey why are you watching me sleep. Kind of weird.." George rubbed his eyes as he sat up in his bed.
"I uh, I wasn't. I swear. Um I was just trying to fix my hair and I happened to-"
"Sure, whatever you say. Look I know you want me but you'll have to keep it in your pants a little more." George said with a smirk as he got up from his bed.
Dream rolled his eyes and started back towards his side till the other stopped him with his hand on Dreams chest.
"I know you Americans do things differently but have some manners, Dream." He teased as he headed to grab some clothes out of the closet.
He scoffed jokingly and glanced over at George before plopping on his own bed.
Dream tried to ignore the other for a minute while he checked his phone and oh god..

"169 Notifications- holy crap!"
He panicked slightly and quickly looked to see if any where from his family. Luckily not, and it was mostly just Nick and a few others.
He'd seen a message telling him to call when he was free from two days ago. Dream sighed and called Sapnap.
"DUDE, I THOUGHT YOU DIED! I TEXTED YOUR MOM!" Sap screamed immediately after answering the call.
"STOP, you did not!" Dream laughed and kind of hoped it was a joke..
Sapnap giggled before responding to Dream.
"No but next time I'll have too! So uh why did you ignore me?" He questioned Dream.
Trying to think of a quick lie, Dream slightly stumbled over his words.
"You know, oh gosh I just- well um I was busy."
"Dream I'm not a girl you don't have to be nervous to talk to me." He teased with another giggle.
"Shut up! But seriously, I'm sorry. I lost track of time and my roommate finally moved in." Dream smiled as he talked to Nick. Almost missing being in America..
George and finally came out of the bathroom and when he'd seen Dream on the phone he shook his head.
"Dream.. it's 8:50." George whispered so he wouldn't interrupt him completely.
Dream's eyes widened just a bit once reminded of the time.
"Crap, I gotta go my class starts in 10. I'll talk to you later." Dream said as he gathered his things quickly and hung up the phone.
"I'll see you later." Dream said as he quickly made his way out of the room and to class. Winking at George playfully.
Late on the first day of classes, just like high school I guess.
Luckily for George, his 9 a.m. class was just the second building over and had time to grab his stuff and walk- unlike Dream.
—
Exhausted just after his first class, Dream headed back to his dorm. He wanted to take a quick nap before his next class.

Fortunately today was just orientation kind of stuff so after his next two classes he'd be done for the day.
Once in he dropped his bags by the door and dragged himself across the room to his bed.
Flopping into bed, Dream slowly closed his eyes and drifted into a light nap. Just what he needed after being late to his first class.
George on the other hand felt more energized than ever. Even after that first class that seemed to be nothing but notes. On the first day! Like come on.
Though George had seen several of his old classmates he wanted to head back to his room to drop off the folders for his first class.
He made his way into their dorm building and up to the room. Once he opened the door it caught on something.
Pushing past it he seen it was Dream's bag. Oh good he's here too.
George managed to get in and close the door. But after not immediately seeing or being greeted by the tall American he'd grown a liking for he was worried.
Throwing his bag on the bed he heard Dream- groan?
Worried, George went to the side of Dream's bed only to discover he was fast asleep.
God he looked so perfect. His chest rising and falling in a steady pace and he breathed gently. A few incoherent words from his mouth as he dreamed.
He smiled, then leaned down while also carefully moving some of Dream's hair. Closer wouldn't hurt?
George caught some of the others cologne and instantly fell in love with the scent of.. well of Dream.
At this point Dream had slowly started waking up but didn't open his eyes. He waited until he could feel the heat of George's face closer to his own.
Thats when he did it.
Dream quickly leaned in and got a kiss from George- yet again.
"I- Dream I thought you were.." George stammered
"Why are you watching me sleep." He mocked the other from earlier with a smirk.
George crossed his arms and huffed.
"Ha Ha, very funny. I was just seeing if you were still breathing." George made up on the spot.
Dream laughed softly. "Oh I'm sure that's exactly what you were doing."
"It was! I swear.." George trailed off as he started walking away in embarrassment.
Just before he was out of reach, Dream caught his hand, pulling him back.
"Shame shame, where are your manners George?" Dream said with a sly smirk.
George was not only annoyed but surprised.
"Oh I'm terribly sorry for waking you. Now excuse me." He said coldly as he walked away.
Dream pursed his lips before quickly rolling out of bed following George as he sat at his desk.
"George I think you owe me a better apology." Dream smiled.
The other rolled his eyes and glanced up to meet Dream's eyes.
"Is that so? Then what would show my true apology?" George said with smirk although he could guess what it was already.
"Hmmmm.."
Dream pointed to his cheek with a smirk and mischievous look in his eyes. He knew George was playing hard to get.
"Fine."
George stood and placed his hands on the others neck and he leaned in. Just before he kissed his cheek though Dream moved. And yet again their lips met in one soft, powerful kiss.
How did he know Dream would pull some stunt like that. Anyhow he just went with it.
A little surprised George didn't pull away, Dream gently placed one hand on the back of George's head. Leaning more into the kiss.
It lasted a good 30 seconds before both had to get a breath. Besides Dream kind of took George's just to tease him a little more.
"Dream.." George said softly looking up to the taller male.
He looked into George's eyes and smiled.
"I knew you'd kiss me back."

Meek
After failing as an apprentice cooper and a town guard, Eli finds his place at the Rockbridge archives. Sure, he's the oldest 'junior scribe,' but he likes the job. And he's good at it, too. Then he completes an apparently-insignificant project, and the brutal reaction shocks him--with consequences that eventually shake the world. Eli gains powers. Rare and inhuman abilities. He progresses slowly, steadily, and not without setbacks. He changes, too. Is he a hero, a villain, a human, a monster? Depends who you ask. Meek is an epic fantasy with elements of progression. The basic magic is simple: five Paths, each with a different powerset. However, complexity arises from combinations, and the protagonist wields a magic all his own. Meek is set in the Valley, the only (as far as anyone knows) human empire that survived a Final Battle against a terrible foe. The Valley is warded against infiltration, but the enemy learned how to warp human souls, to foment discord within. However, another soul is also ... changed. Perhaps even 'warped.' And that soul is starting on a long (long, long) path that might, one day, prove that the Final Battle wasn't so final after all.
8 281The Last Science [SE]
[SE has the same content as the original story, split into smaller chunks for easier reading. This story is on a temporary hiatus due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. I work in healthcare and unfortunately no longer have the freetime to continue posting on a regular basis. As soon as our workload decreases, I will return. Thanks for reading! 💙] No one ever knows the whole story. Deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, the fading town of Rallsburg stumbles upon an amazing discovery—magic itself. Faced with potentially world-shattering power, the people of Rallsburg keep the secret for themselves. Led by Rachel DuValle, a perpetually underestimated college student with grand ambitions, they seek to found a new society. The world beyond suspects nothing, but magic cannot stay hidden forever. A train arrives in Rallsburg carrying Alden Bensen, a directionless high school graduate. To him, magic could represent meaning for his life, an explanation for his empty existence. This potent force offers anyone the power to change humanity forever—or send it cascading into swift and total annihilation. The Last Science is an ongoing science-fiction / low-fantasy web novel series, focused on the modern world with a twist. New societies bud and grow, but the people who make them up are imperfect and flawed. The story includes elements of mystery, action, crime, interpersonal drama, relationships, philosophy, sociology, politics, and much more, all centered on the perspective characters driving the tale. This is the "Scraps Edition" of the story, where the chapters have been split up into bite-size chunks (roughly 1500-3000 words), for your convenience. The prose has been edited from its original form, with some improvements, but there are no content differences from the original. New chapters will be posted throughout each week starting on Friday and appearing on multiple days thereafter, depending on the length of the chapter. Content Warning (by request): This series delves into some topics and situations which may be upsetting for some readers. In American rating parlance, the narrative would be rated PG-13 (except for language), but some have noted the story can get pretty dark on occasion. 8 122Encroaching Darkness
Ashford Meyers used to be a general practitioner, living out his days in peace while he expanded on his hobbies. This all came crashing down when the world changed. Creatures from myths came out of the ether to wreak havoc on the world. He uses his smarts and additional powers from the system to create a place for the remnants of humanity to flock to. He starts training those who want to protect the weak in this new world until everything changes with the arrival of the outworlders. So, this fiction is something that I have been working on for a few weeks, and as such, I have about 75 pages already pending. On another note, chapters will be released every week on Monday and Friday, 8:00 am EST.

Fear. Regret. Memories. They all flashed before my eyes as my life began to fade away. I felt a darkness encroach upon my heart followed by a sinister foreboding. Within that moment I was asked a single question by a powerful, mystical being. “Brave being, do you wish to accomplish a great deed in your life?” “No,” I refused, but the voice did not listen. It summoned me to its world only to try to have me slaughtered. But then, I was saved by him, the princess who disguised herself as a man. He was hellbent on revenge, and he was determined to drag me down with him. This story is meant to be a bit of a mix of genres and cultures, so there are some elements that may seem xianxia like, but it's not exactly the same so I didn't tag it. It also has multiple lead characters but is written in first person. Schedule: Dropped Normal Chapter Length: approximately 3000 words Warning: Tagged [15+] for Strong Language and Violence (Gore and Profanity aren't very prevalent, but I added the warning tags just in case).
