After dinner we sit around a table. Wilbur reads out the Declaration of Independance. I was very bored. As I stared out the window I noticed a reflection. It was small, and hard to notice. But I saw it. I tried to follow the source and was surprised to find them lead up to a pair of white clout glasses. I always wanted some. They just seem so fun. Then comes the rain of flaming arrows. One hit the trailer with a thunk.

I flip my head back to the table where everyone was at. Seems like they heard it too. Tommy gets up, which in my head means "I'm gonna go investigate". Just as he reaches the door Fundy pulls him back, "are you crazy, man!?" Lily, Sam and I all look at each other. Sams face looks like an awkward line and Lily looks like she's trying not to laugh. We must be all thinking the same thing...

Wilbur walk over to him in two long strides. Tommy looks up at him as if asking him what to do. He sighs. "Tommy, as my second in command, I'm going to let you lead this" Sam looks up quickly. "Will, I don't think that's a very good idea..." Tommy's glare to her is deadly. I was going to say something but he beat me to it. "Well I think it's a great idea!" "You seriously want to put our lives into the hands of a child!?" The debate goes on. FINALLY Wilbur stops it. "Sam" he says with calm tone. "You have been here for a mere day, I trust Tommy. We will follow him."

We all run out of the van in a line. Eret has been awfully quiet. I wonder what's wrong. We run to punz's tower. Tommy is yelling commands and shooting at the same time. We climb up a ladder that seems to go on forever. When we get to the top we see the dream team retreat. Tommy yells after them. "Yeah! You better run!" Followed by a string of curses. Then he turns to Sam. "See Sam? I can lead" she rolls her eyes and starts climbing back down. I can tell she's trying not to get mad. I also know that these kids are going to be great friends. Note the sarcasm.
