❤️Blood and trigger warnings❤️
Sam's P.O.V
I wake up to some rustling to my right. I rub my eyes and get up. I look around and see Britta lying on the ground. "It'll only take a minute" I think. I hear the rustling again and decide to investigate. "Hello?" I ask. I see a flash of green for a second and get even more curious. I step into the bushes and ask again "is anyone there?"
All of the sudden I feel a hand on my mouth forbidding me to scream. I hear a rough voice hiss "shut up" I wimper not knowing what else to do. "I said, shut up" I feel a sharp pain in my leg and feel warm blood ooz from it. Tears brim on my eyes as the voice talks to his accomplices. I don't comprehend what's their saying. My mind is going fuzzy. I hear other people talking in the distance. They must of heard hem to because all of a sudden I'm let go by my captors. They run as I stumble out of the bushes.
I see a blur of blond and brown. A boy with messy brown hair comes up to me and slings my arm around his shoulder, his hand on my waist. I see the blonde one pick up Britta bridal style. My eyes widen when I see what he's doing. "No, Britta" I try to wiggle out of the boy's grasp. He holds on to me and yells to the blonde "Tommy, stay with us. She's a little slow" He points to me. The blond- Tommy, nods and waits for us to catch up. When we do he keeps walking.
About fifteen minutes into our decent my head starts to bang. I start leaning on the boy, who's name I learned was Toby (we got to know each other a lot, and honestly, he's pretty cute). I finally decide to speak up and ask "d-do you have any water?" Toby stops his conversation and turns to me. "Uh yeah" he digs around in his bag for a little until he pulls out a bottle. "Here". He sets me down to lean on an acea tree. He tells Tommy to take a break for a little. I slowly slip down the rough bark to sit down. As I sip the water I feel my eyelids grow heavy. Eventually, I fall asleep.

I wake up for the second time today to chatter. I blink my eyes open and look around. I realize that I'm laying in a small bed in the middle of a some sort of trailer. I push the covers off of me and stand up. My leg is bandaged although it didn't seem that bad earlier. I limp out of the small room into a bigger one where I see four boys, including Toby and Tommy. Three girls, and... a furry? Britta turns around and sees me. She smiles and waves me over. I do as she says and walk over. She whispers to me "you see the guy with the beanie?" I nod and she continues "Lily is totally simping over him" I laugh out loud causing everyone to look at me.
Toby is the first to react. He puts his hand on my arm and says, "are you feeling better?" My breath hitches and I blush. "Uh, yeah, thanks." He nods and turns and back to talking to beanie guy.
Lily hugs me and whispers, "simp" I pull back and boop her nose. "I could say the same for you beanie girl!"

Mordheim: Servants of The Damned (A Warhammer Fantasy Fiction)
“The Great Library,” Stated the stranger with a pause. “You know of it?”“Of course I do. In the Merchant’s Quarter?”“Yes, in the Merchant’s Quarter. I have gathered that there is an… artefact of importance within its walls.” Slowly, the figure produced a rusted key from the furls of his robes and held it in a black-gloved hand. “This opens the door to its chambers. It is the grimoire of Gunnar von Krugenheim, and I believe that it would serve better in the world than locked away in a dusty room.” Behind the cursed walls of Mordheim, warbands and gangs of all stripes are embattled in constant wars for resources and power. The cursed city attracts throngs in the thousands, searching for treasures, artefacts, power, and sometimes all three. The Cult of the Hidden Brethren is no exception, and when an opportunity to extend their reach is discovered, the cultists are eager to take the opportunity. However, not all is set in stone, and soon the cultists discover that the lure of power alone may not be enough to give them the drive required to see their quest done... --- Mordheim: Servants of the Damned is a fanfiction set in the world of Warhammer Fantasy, which is not owned by me but by the company Games Workshop. I of course, lay claim to nothing in this story but the characters I have created, and the core events of the story itself. This is my first true foray into fantasy writing, let alone Warhammer Fantasy, therefore any feedback is welcome. (It should be noted as well, the cover art is merely an artwork I found online and is not mine, therefore I do not lay claim to that either.)
