Merlot × Stereo
FLUFF
///////////////////////////////////////////
Knock knock knock
The soft drumming on the door woken stereo as she grunts. Lifting her head off her pillow lazily, she checked the time. It was 2 in the morning and drizzling outside. Slowly she lifted herself up as she slid off the bed, heading out of her room to the door. Not bothering to check through the peep hole to see who it is, she flicked the lock open.
Turning the knob she cracks the door open. "What." She snaps a bit tiredly, realizing the hooded figure at her door is no other than Merlot. "Hey.. sorry to bother ya' darlin'.. " She hums, her eyes half open as she invites him in. He accepts walking into the house and shutting the door behind him, pulling his thick jacket off. Not wanting to track mud or water through the house, he removed his shoes as well.
Stereo returned to her room, flopping back down on the bed with a content sigh. A few minutes later merlot entered the room quietly, leaning on the doorframe while he felt awkward for bothering her this early in the morning. Moving her head to look at him, she shifts to the wall side of the bed and pats the matress "come in bone boy.." He stands up normally, shuffling over to the bed with his wings drooped. He scratches the back of his vertebrae as he approached it.
Joining her to lay on the bed he hesitates to wrap his arms around her. She did it for him as she moved closer to him, directing his hands to wrap around her. He smiled, left unnoticed by Stereo. Breathing in her honeysuckle scent as he nuzzles into the crook of her neck "Whats wrong..." she mumbled tiredly but, still wanting to help "Jus'ta nightmare...nothin' more" he mumbled, wanting to get of the topic.

She leaned her head to the side, giving him a small kiss on his skull. "I don't believe you but m'kay..." She had a point, he didn't believe himself either. As she started to doze off again, she cuddled up closer to merlot. Enjoying the little bit of warmth he gave off. Staying awake just a little bit longer, he tried to keep his glowing pinprick from waking her up.
His nightmare scared him half to death, so vivid and realistic. Even though he knew stereo was powerful, he was still shaken up. Just having her asleep in his arms reassured him that she was fine, but..that doesn't go by much. He tried to sleep jumping at small sounds throughout the house before finally... he managed to fall asleep, cuddling close stereo.
