"This has to stop, Taehyung."
Taehyung looked back at Namjoon with a glum expression, "I have no idea what you're talking about."
"You've been staring at the box that Graycen brought over here since what–" Namjoon paused to think, "since last week its been sitting on your coffee table and you have yet to open it."
Taehyung sighed, knowing that Namjoon was right. "You're right but I have no clue what it can be."
"Well, I mean that's why you open it."
Taehyung's hand trembled before he picked it up and eyebrows furrowed as he noticed that the sticker on it said, From Mr. and Mrs. Harrier. He had no idea what was held inside of the box but placed it on his lap.
Namjoon sighed then gave Taehyung a slap on his back, "I have to meet up with Jorja for our anniversary. Later?" As soon as Namjoon left, Taehyung stared at the box then just went for it. He ripped the box open and it revealed a thick photo album book. When he lifted the book up and flipped it to the front he seen a post-it note attached to the front, Taehyung, I know you and Graycen lost half of your wedding photos but we found them and decided to send them to you. Once you get this call me.
Taehyung opened the book and the first cover was filled with him and Graycen when she used to be pregnant with their first child. "Fuck." He groaned and slammed the book closed. He was getting anger and nostalgia with the photos of him and his soon to be ex-wife, elated. Over the past month, he had been stressed and emotionally drained.
He picked up his phone and dialed her father's number, if he couldn't talk to Graycen the closest thing to her was her parents.

"Hello?"
Taehyung nervously cleared his throat before getting up and going into his backyard, "Hello Mr. Harrier, this is Taehyung, thanks for the gift."
"Ah Tae!" He shared a hearty laugh over the phone. "Are you good man? I know the divorce must be hard."
"Oh, you know?" Taehyung coughed before sitting down in his outside chair.
"Of course I do!" He told him. "I know everything, I also know that my baby girl is pregnant."
Taehyung sighed at the word pregnant, he felt like this was unreal. If Graycen was ever pregnant he visualized him with her every step of the way but this time it was different. "Yeah she is. Thanks for the gift by the way–" Taehyung took a breath before continuing, "I always wanted to see more than just the same ten photos everyone had on their Facebook pages."
"Of course! I promised you that I'd find them and make you the photo album!" Mr. Harrier said then his voice turned more stern. "I talked to Graycen on Sunday when we had a family dinner and I told her that whatever the two of you are going through shouldn't affect this baby."
Taehyung found himself hiccuping before speaking due to him becoming uncomfortable, "I know sir, I–"
"– there's no excuses and there should be no reason why you two aren't talking." He scolded over the phone. "Yeah, you two are stubborn but start getting it together because Graycen is three months and before you know it the baby is here and you both won't be prepared to coparent."
Taehyung laid back in the chair before running his fingers through his hair, "You have a point."
"I always do, the hell!" Her dad exclaimed. "Anyways, I just want to thank you for impacting Graycen's life because we all know how she used to be before–"

"– please Mr. Harrier, can we not discuss that?" Believe it or not, Taehyung was becoming emotional about everything. He didn't regret getting the divorce but he did regret not handling the situation better.
"Sure but Taehyung, just try a bit harder to be by Graycen's side." Her dad pleaded. "I am not asking you to be by her side as a husband but as a friend and a father as her child. Have a blessed day and I hope to hear progress."
He gulped, rubbing his arm. "Alright Mr. Harrier, tell Mrs. Harrier I said hi."
"Will do, son!" After he ended the call, Taehyung stared into space, pondering. All of these possibilities were filling his head and baby ideas that drove him to texting her phone.
It took the next morning for her to reply and once she did, Taehyung was relieved but he wasn't expecting her message to be what it was.
I hope youuu all enjoyed this little chapter :)

The 48 Laws of Power in Practice
Discover how power works in the world, through true stories and real-world applications. In the game of power, we all play - as either conscious or unconscious players. So we can't afford not to know the rules. The ** chapters have the most outrageous content. In each chapter, I will be summarizing one of the laws and how it can be applied to current events and pop culture. Some of you have told me the stories are what you enjoy the most. They are real, raw, and anonymous so that others may learn from my mistakes. There will be cringe-worthy stories of self-sabotage, but perhaps also some unlikely triumphs. Some of the details are changed to protect the innocent, (or perhaps guilty). "The 48 Laws of Power" by Robert Greene illustrates truths about power, through philosophy and lessons from three thousand years of history, which still hold true today. There is a lot to learn from each chapter. I encourage you to go on this journey with me by reflecting on how each law might apply to you. Together, may we learn from the past and take control of the future.
