《SEA GREEN MEETS GOLD (N.M. & P.J.)》Chapter 51: My love

"Nik." Percy poked the hybrid's face.
"Nik."
The demigod continued poking the hybrid's face. "Nik."
"Nickelodeon, wake up."
Her finger poked him again.
"What do you want, love?" He asked with his eyes remaining closed.
"Breakfast."
His eyes opened to look at her. Her grin widened. "Good morning, Nikkie."
Klaus' eyes scanned over her features, roaming from her eyes, her nose, and her lips. "Good morning, my love."
The name caused her face to immediately soften.
The demigod moved closer to him. "Can you repeat that?"
"Repeat what?" He questioned as his eyes closed again.
She poked his cheek. "You called me something."
"I don't know what you mean, love."
Percy pouted a bit. "Nikkkkkk," she dragged out his name.
"Percyyyyyy." He repeated her action.
She moved so that she was laying on top of him. Her hand gently guided his face toward her. "Please, Nikkie."
The hybrid kept his eyes closed. "Please, what?"
"You know what."
Klaus opened his eyes and gazed into her sea green ones.
She continued, "Say it again."
The original replied, "I'm afraid I don't know what it is."
Percy huffed and frowned slightly. She rolled off of him and made her way out of the bed.
Klaus reached his hand out towards her. "I'm sorry, my love. Come back."
The demigod faced him and crossed her arms. "You're being a meanie."
The hybrid got out of the bed as well and moved towards her. "Let me make it up to you."
She chose not to respond. Instead, she stuck her tongue out at him.
Klaus looked at her pleadingly. "I'll do whatever you want."
"Whatever I want?" Percy asked with a mischievous look on her face.
The blond nodded.
She laughed evilly and moved her thumb and pointer finger against her chin, in a thinking pose.
The raven haired beauty grinned up at him happily. "Nikkie?"
The original grew slightly nervous at what she had in store for him. "Yes?"
"I have an idea." An evil grin appeared on her lips.

Percy used a washable marker to draw pink hearts on the hybrid's cheek, near his eye.
"Really, love?" His eyes scanned over her features.
Despite what she was doing to his face, he enjoyed the position. She was leaning in close to his face and her hand gently held his neck to keep him steady.
"I thought you liked art," Percy grinned.
Klaus kept his eyes on her lips. She bit her lip as she concentrated on her masterpiece. He responded to her words, "I don't typically like putting the art on my face, love."
The demigod chuckled. "Well, get used to it."
She capped the marker and set it to the side. Percy's thumb gently moved over his lip. "You look so cute."
The demigod pressed a quick kiss against his lips. She pulled away and went over to a mirror on the wall. Using the same light pink marker, she drew a few small hearts near her eye as well.

The sea green eyed girl looked back at him with a grin. She gestured back and forth between them. "Look! We're the same now."
The corner of his lips rose up. "Lovely."
Percy laughed and grabbed his hand. "Let's go out and get breakfast."
Klaus let her lead him out the door. "We're going outside like this?"
"Yes."
The hybrid wouldn't usually appreciate going out in public with pink hearts drawn on his cheek, but because Percy was with him, he found it impossible to care. He wasn't bothered by things when her hand was in his. How could he be the slightest bit upset with her by his side? It was simply impossible. Her smile and her laughter made him happy, and he couldn't help himself from falling for her more.
They left the apartment building. Percy turned to him with something in her hand. He looked at the items in slight confusion. "What is that, love?"
"Vampire vangs." There were two small plastic items in her hand that resembled the vangs of a vampire.
He raised an eyebrow. "I have real fangs, love," he pointed out.
"I know, but where's the fun in that?"
She placed the blue fangs in her mouth. Smiling at him, she spoke, "I'm a vampire. Rawr."
Her voice was slightly altered by the fake fangs.
He struggled to stop a smile from spreading on his face.
"I didn't know vampires say 'rawr.'" Klaus commented in amusement.
"Rawr." She repeated and held out the other set of fake fangs towards him.
He looked at it apprehensively. "They're neon green, love."
"Exactly. They're perfect."
Percy watched as his resolve broke. He picked up the fangs. "Love, this is the last thing I'm doing."
"Kk."
He placed the bright green fangs in his mouth.
Percy smiled and her sea green eyes looked up at him happily.
He's such a cute vampire.
The demigod stepped behind him and jumped on his back.
His hands instinctively held the back of her knees. "Onwards, Nikkie. Onwards."
Klaus sighed slightly and didn't argue. He carried her through New York. Percy gave him directions to a diner nearby.
The people they passed by didn't spare them a second glance. Much weirder things happened in New York City.
Once the pair arrived outside the diner, Percy smoothly got off his back, ending the piggyback ride.
She spotted a trash can and walked towards it and removed the fake fangs from her mouth. Percy threw them in the trash can, and the hybrid did the same.
The duo waited in line to eat.
Yay! Food!

After eating at the diner, the pair walked outside again.
The demigod sensed something nearby.
She started walking down an alley, her feet carrying her towards something.
Klaus followed her in confusion. "What are we doing, love?"
"This way," she mumbled as she turned a corner.
Up ahead, a monster resembling a large lion towered over a young girl. The short brunette threw a rock at it.
Percy vapor traveled in front of the girl, her sword unsheathed within seconds.

The brunette behind her picked up a sharp rock off the ground and held it in front of herself defensively.
The sea green eyed twirled her sword. The monster's attention turned to her instead of the demigod behind her.
Percy soon realized her sword wouldn't be helpful at the moment.
The monster in front of her was the Nemean lion, a monster whose pelt was sword-proof. His thick, metallic fur glittered in the light.
When it tried to approach her, she dodged it. Percy noticed a large trash container nearby. There was a long piece of wood propped up against it.
Despite knowing a blade wouldn't harm it, Percy swiftly removed a celestial bronze blade from her boot and chucked it at the monster's face. The object landed next to his eye, and the creature roared in response.
With it's jaw unhinged, the brunette behind Percy threw her rock into its mouth.
The demigod grabbed the piece of wood.
The lion-like creature moved forward again, its mouth opening again in a roar.
Wrong move.
Percy quickly moved the object in her hand through the air. It pierced through the Nemean lion's mouth, the part of him that was vulnerable to attack when open.
The monster dissipated into a pile of gold dust. Its pelt that was immune to all types of damage was left behind on the ground.
The sea green eyed girl turned her attention back to the young girl behind her. She looked like she was no more than eight years old.
"Hi," The raven haired beauty greeted. "I'm Percy."
The brunette looked at the pile of fur that resembled a long fur rug.
She quietly responded, "Hi."
They were standing outside the back of some abandoned business. There was a a small staircase that led up to a backdoor.
The brunette sat down on one of the steps. She looked up at Percy. "I'm Rosie."
"Hi, Rosie."
Percy noticed the girl's clothes looked dirty and her hair was a bit messy.
The raven haired beauty sent her a small smile. "Would you like to get something to eat?"
Rosie pressed her lips together and nodded. She turned her head to look at something behind Percy, or rather, someone.
"Who's he?"
Percy turned her head to look at the hybrid. He was still standing to the side, in awe of Percy's abilities. Witnessing her fight never failed to impress him. He looked at her adoringly.
"That's Nik. He's my boyfriend."
Rosie simply nodded.
The older demigod crouched down in front of the younger one. "What would you like to eat?"
Rosie pondered the question. "Can I have pancakes?"
Percy nodded. "Bacon too?"
The girl's eyes lit up. "Yes, please."
She glanced back at the original. "Can you go back to the diner and get an order of pancakes and bacon for Rosie? And a large cup of water."
Klaus nodded. Percy reached into her pocket and held out money, but he shook his head. "I got it, love."
The hybrid turned on his heel and went back to the diner nearby.
Percy stayed in her position. "Do you know what that creature was?"
Rosie shook her head.
"That creature was something called the Nemean lion. Not all people can see creatures like that. But, we," she gestured between herself and Rosie, "are special. There's a camp for people like us, if you're interested. It's a place where you'll be safe from any of those creatures."
Rosie thought about her words. "Are the people there nice?"
Percy smiled, "Yeah. There's a lot of great kids there, just like you. I met friends there that became my family."
The brunette looked down at her lap. "The people who are supposed to be my family aren't around very much. That's why I ran away from home."
The conversation paused when Klaus arrived with the food.
The hybrid moved towards them and handed the bag to Rosie.
She looked back and forth between them. "Thank you," Rosie spoke with a weak smile.
"Don't worry about it," the raven haired beauty responded.
Rosie pulled the container of food out of the bag. She used a plastic fork to quickly eat strawberry pancakes. She picked up a piece of bacon and ate it as well.
➳➳➳
Rosie took a sip of her water. "So, when can we go to the camp?"
"You definitely want to go?" The sea green eyed girl asked.
The brunette nodded.
Percy replied, "Whenever you want."
Rosie ate more of her pancakes.
Once she finished her food, she glanced back up at Percy. "I'm ready."
The daughter of the sea nodded and crouched down in front of her again. "Is there anyone you want to say goodbye to before we go?"
The brunette shook her head.
"Are you sure?"
Rosie nodded. "Yeah."
"Okay," she sent Rosie a smile. "I'm gonna take you to the camp, and I won't leave until you're sure you're comfortable there, okay?"
The kid nodded again and smiled. "Okay."
Percy stood back up and turned to Klaus. "Do you wanna come? If not I could vapor travel you back to the apartment. I should be back soon."
The hybrid asked a question of his own. "Will any of your friends be there?"
The demigod nodded. "Yeah, probably."
"Then, definitely."
"Definitely, you wanna go to camp?"
Klaus looked into her sea green eyes. "Yes, love."
Percy smiled, "You want to meet my friends?"
"Your friends are important to you. Therefore, they're important to me."
The raven haired beauty's smile widened happily.
"You two are kinda gross," Rosie commented. "It's like we're in a Disney movie."
Percy snorted in amusement. "I'm gonna take that as a compliment."
Rosie smiled a bit. "Old people are weird."
True.
