《SEA GREEN MEETS GOLD (N.M. & P.J.)》Chapter 9: Blue coke

Stefan threw darts dipped in wolfsbane at the werewolf. Ray was chained to the wall at the bar.
The demigod and the hybrid were now sitting next to each other in a booth.
"Favorite drink?" Klaus asked her.
Percy replied, "Blue coke."
"I didn't know they made blue coke."
"They don't, sadly. But you can always add food dye."
Klaus raised an eyebrow, "Do you add blue food dye to other foods?"
"Yup. Cookies, cake, pancakes and whatever else I can think of." Percy responded.
The hybrid smiled. "Huh. I never thought to add food dye to those things."
"You cook?" The demigod questioned.
The blond chuckled, "Yes, and I like to think I'm quite good at it."
Percy grinned, "Then you should definitely add food dye. It makes it more fun."
She repeated the original question back at him. "What about you? What's your favorite drink?"
A devilish smirk appeared on his face. Percy continued, "A non-blood drink."
"Hm. I guess whiskey."
The demigod shook her head. "Alcohol is nasty."
Klaus was amused by the statement. "Have you tried alcohol, love?"
Percy shook her head again. "No. Don't have to."
He raised an eyebrow, "Then, how do you know it's gross?"
She shrugged. "I just do." The raven haired beauty slid out of the booth. Percy tried not to let thoughts of Gabe enter her mind.
She walked up to the bar and asked for a water. Klaus leaned on the bar next to her. His eyes roamed over her face. "There's a reason you don't like it."
Percy became defensive. Her fists clenched and the demigod scoffed slightly. She didn't want to explain herself to him. Stepping away from the bar, she wandered over to Stefan.
"Wow, you're choosing my company over his. He must have annoyed you. How's it feel?" The younger Salvatore analyzed the demigod.
Percy picked up the dart in his hand and threw it at the vampire. He easily caught it. "Someone's grumpy." He repeated the same words she said to him not to long ago in the car.

She stuck her tongue out at him.
The sea green eyed girl spotted Rudy on the couch and joined him. After she placed the dog on her lap, Percy looked through her phone.
Someone sat down on the sofa next to her. The demigod didn't need to look to know who it was.
"I didn't mean to upset you, love." A beautiful British voice spoke.
Percy glanced up at him. Their eyes immediately locked.
"I know," she said softly. She sent him an apologetic look.
The werewolf groaned from across the room. The sea green eyed girl looked over. "Do you think he's ever going to tell us the location of the pack?"
Klaus looked over in the same direction. "I'm sure Stefan will be able to convince him."
A woman walked up to the hybrid. "Mr. Klaus."
Percy snickered. The hybrid playfully narrowed his eyes at her.
The woman spoke, "I have some information for you. I saw that guy's brother, Damon, at the farmhouse."
Damon.
Klaus responded, "Well, thank you, Claudine. You just tell your friends to keep up the good work with the neighborhood watch, huh?" Claudine left and Stefan walked over.
"My brother's still on our tail?" Stefan questioned.
The hybrid replied, "He's getting closer. I'm going to have to deal with that." He began to walk away but Stefan stopped him.
"No, no, no. Let me handle it."
Klaus looked back at Stefan. "And why should I let you leave?"
"'Cause you know I'll come back," Stefan said.
The blond didn't seem to trust him. "Do I?"
"You saved my brother's life. I'm in your service."
"Besides, Stefano couldn't handle being away from my awesome self for too long." Percy added with a grin.
The vampire gave her a blank look. Klaus replied to Stefan, "Oh, that almost sounds so tedious and indentured."
You did basically kidnap us.
"Aren't you even having the least bit of fun?" He questioned as he gestured to the werewolf.

"Heh," Stefan responded, "I'll make sure that my brother doesn't bother us anymore."
"Do you think it would help if I go too?" Percy asked quizzically. Both Stefan and Klaus said no.
Rude.
The demigod looked back down at the puppy laying across her lap. "And that's why your my favorite member. Who's a good boy?"
Rudy sat up and barked as if saying, 'Me!'
The raven haired beauty ran her fingers through his fur. "Aww."
Stefan left and the original returned to his seat beside the sea green eyed girl.
Percy rose from her seat and looked back at the hybrid. "Do you think Rudy and I can convince him?"
Klaus looked surprised, "You want to try?"
The sea green eyed girl figured he would probably continue torturing Ray. She wanted to try a different way.
The demigod shrugged and walked up to Ray. "Hi!" The man looked confused. He replied, "Hi." Percy took a few steps closer. "Can you please tell us where the pack is?" Unlike Stefan, she spoke softly. Ray found it impossible to look away from her eyes. "I can't." The sea green eyed girl nodded. The werewolf saw she was about to walk away and the hybrid was behind her. He didn't want to know what Klaus would do, so he called the demigod back.
After sighing in defeat, Ray told her the location. Percy sent him a small smile.
She turned back to look at the hybrid and made her way back to the bar to sip her water. She was still carrying Rudy in her arm.
Klaus was a bit impressed by the demigod. He removed the werewolf from the wall and placed him on the pool table.
"Okay, it's a three step process, right? This is step one. I want you to drink from my wrist."
Ray responded, "I already told you where to find the pack. What more do you want from me?"
The demigod continued playing with the puppy. She didn't want him to witness the scene around them. He was too young. Percy treated the puppy as though it was an actual baby. She adored him.
"Have you been listening to a word I've been saying, Ray? I have great plans for you." Klaus cut his wrist and shoved it in the werewolf's mouth. "He'll thank me for it later. There we go."
"It's time for step two, Ray." He quickly snapped the man's neck.
Klaus looked up, toward the doorway. "You're back."
Percy glanced over to see Stefan. He questioned the hybrid, "Did you doubt me?"
"Not for a second. I knew you'd pass the test. You still care for your brother; for your old life."
The demigod brought her attention back to the adorable fluff ball. She pet his head gently.
She heard the vampire respond, "I don't care about anything anymore."
Percy felt bad for the Salvatore. The demigod might have teased him sometimes, but she still considered Stefan a friend.
"You put on a good show, Stefan. I almost believe you. Let's hope for your brother's sake, he does."Klaus spoke.
He continued, "You never stop caring for family, do you? But every time you feed, the blood makes it easier to let go."
Stefan took a few steps away and picked up the werewolf. He walked back towards the trunk of their car.
Percy set Rudy down on the seat again as she followed after the vampire.
When she approached him, he was already closing the trunk.
The demigod pulled him in for a hug. Stefan was surprised at first, but he wrapped his arms around her. He needed comfort and Percy gave really good hugs.
Although she got on his nerves sometimes, Stefan was thankful to have her around.
He whispered a small "Thank you."
"Anytime." Percy replied.
The pair pulled away and the demigod sent him a small smile.
She turned on her heel and walked back into the bar, giving him some time to be alone.
