Hermione's POV
I was sleeping peacefully until I heard an owl tapping on the window. I decided to get up and let it in after it didn't stop for 15 minutes.
I saw it was my Mom's owl Hermès so, I took the letter of it's legs and nearly grimaced when I saw the pink floral envelope that reeked of perfume. I fed the owl some treats and it flew off.
"What is it,love?" Draco,my husband,asked. Yes that's right the gryfindor princess married the slytherin prince, if someone told me this before 3rd year I would have punched them and hex them to oblivion with lethal curses and jinxes and take them to St. Mungos to get their mentality checked.
"Are you alright,Mia?" Draco questioned,concernedly.
"Yeah, Urm sorry...I zoned out for a minuet," I murmured quietly, thinking of excuses to not go to the reunion.
Suddenly,I realized I had no excuse and yelled in anguish "why do you hate me lord?!"
Draco just chuckled at my childish behavior and asked what was wrong. I told him everything, even the names my cousins and a couple of my aunts and uncles.
When I was done I realized I had all the more reason to go, to show them how I've grown into a rich, (not trying to be self-centered but...)beautiful and amazing woman.
Suddenly, the infamous malfoy smirk made it's way on to my face. Looking up at Draco I told him
" I am going only if the kids come your going to miss the first 2 days, but come in time for the ball during your meeting in Paris for " I declared, "Now you go to the kitchen, make pancakes while I get ready and pack for you and the kids, then you can get ready for the day. Is that okay?" I questioned.
"Yes,ma'am" Draco playfully saluted then left.
I sighed then groaned internally , this is going to be a loooooooooonnnggg reuinion.

Some are more actioney, others more cerebral but I hope there will be something for everyone. Stories over 7000 words, with the exception of the titular After the Long Burn, will be published in two parts. I anticipate an upload schedule of one part every other day.
