《Arranged (Todoroki x Reader x Various)》Ending 3: Revolution's Dawn

You stared idly at the white sheets of your hospital bed. Todoroki, along with his family, had left you awhile ago. Your head and heart were still battling with one another. You knew Todoroki was trying to be a better person and a husband. You knew he had even risked his safety to protect you. Your mind still was against the idea of being his wife. He had abandoned you, cheated on you, and left you alone to your devices for so long.
You bite your lip in frustration. You had always been sure of yourself and your decisions. You were taught that in the Hero Commission. White hair flashed in your mind for a second causing your eyes to widen. There was only one person who could help and relate to your problems.
Rei Todoroki.
You got up from your bed, thankful the wires that were previously on you when you were first admitted weren't on you anymore. Your hospital gown fluttered in the air, exposing part of your biker shorts and sports bra. You were aware this was the same hospital Rei was in. Natsuo even mentioned visiting her when he was with you.
Your bare feet trodded along the white cold floor. It would be better to try and find it yourself. You might raise suspicion within the hospital staff if you ask about Rei. You began your journey upstairs towards the psychiatric unit. Your eyes scanned each nametag to each door.
You were so focused you failed to realize you bumped into someone. With a gasp, you walked slightly backward. You looked up to see a familiar hooded figure. It was the same man you saw at the grocery store. The figure moved his head slightly revealing purple scarred skin. Your eyes widened.
"D-Dabi," you called out. The figure didn't say anything. He looked around the area. There wasn't anyone in sight. The figure tightly grabbed your wrist, but you didn't fight him off. The figure guided you to an emergency staircase. Dabi finally took his hood off, revealing his iconic burns. His turquoise eyes narrowed at you as his hands were in his hoodie's front pocket.
"You know you really shouldn't be saying my name where anyone can hear, doll," he stated. You resisted the urge to roll your eyes. You wondered why Dabi was here. He was clearly the one to drop off flowers, but they didn't seem to be poisoned or laced with anything. He was also by Rei Todoroki's room. You clicked your tongue. He must've visited his mother. Dabi plopped down on the concrete step. He quirked his black eyebrow up.
"Are you just going to stand there and stare at me?" he asked. Dabi retrieved his cigarettes and lit one. He took a long drag and blew it out. You narrowed your eyes at Dabi and sat down beside him.

"You shouldn't smoke in a hospital," you replied. He gave you a deadpan look, clearly unamused by your scolding. He intensely looked at you in a sarcastic manner before taking another drag of his cigarette. The smell of smoke filled the area.
"What the hell are you doing here," you asked. He rolled his eyes, his scarred lips going into a tight line.
"I see you still like asking questions," he replied. Dabi was literally going to be the death of you. The Todoroki family was going to be the death of you and your sanity.
"I like knowing what's going on," you responded. Dabi let out a chuckle and leaned the back of his body to the rest of the staircase. His eyes gazed at your curiously. He idly moved his leather cladded boots every so often.
"Here's the deal, doll. I'm helping the League of Villains regroup. Shigaraki's pissed, but I think the best time to take down Endeavor. No one would expect even at their weakest, the League is still capable of wiping out the Number One Hero," Dabi replied. Your body tensed up. You couldn't believe he giving you this amount of information. You knew you needed to report to Hawks as soon as possible to tell him. As many issues you had with Endeavor, you didn't feel as if he should die. Dabi threw his cigarette down. It's blue ambers slightly glowed duller than before.
"I can get you a way out if you want. I know how you feel about that family. Don't worry though, the rest will be safe...mostly. Unless Shouto decides to avenge his father, but I highly doubt that'll be the case," Dabi replied. You looked down at your bare feet. He was right. The Todoroki continuously gave you mixed feelings. You had found out Endeavor watched you get taken away. Instead of helping him, he insisted on doing his job rather than saving his daughter-in-law. Natsuo was becoming more distant towards you and Todoroki for some reason. Fuyumi and yourself weren't that close, to begin with, and Todoroki was...Todoroki.
Would it be selfish to just abandon them? At the same time, your career would benefit in the long run. You gaze harden at your feet.
"What will it cost," you replied. This was clearly a business transaction. Dabi wanted to help you to get something out of you. He clearly wanted a win-win situation. Dabi grinned. Parts of his inside cheek were exposed as the skin attached to his staples stretched.
"You'll be my little pet, just like that bird. You give me all the little secrets and information on the hero world. With two spies, the League can quickly recover," he replied. You closed your eyes for a second. Did you want to be in Hawks' situation? You wondered how the Commission would act? You moved your head to see Dabi's burning eyes. They were so passionate, so filled with fire. He was dead set on his goals.

"Fine..."
The night sky was beautiful. A cold breeze brought shivers down your spine as the night sky was filled with diamonds. You easily left the Todoroki family like a breeze. You still continued your hero work though. Sometimes Todoroki would see you passing through the streets or in meetings, you'd always managed to get away just before he would interact with you further. Just like a gentle breeze. It's been a year since you considered yourself a Todoroki.
"So...how long are you going to play him like a fiddle," Hawks muttered. The two of you were on patrol for your agencies. Hawks' member slitted orbs were focused on you. He seemed quite serious. You let out a sigh.
You had been seeing Dabi since he helped you escape. Your relationship with him was mainly physical, but surely you had weaved his way into his heart. You were his weak spot.
And you exploited that.
Any details and secrets of his would get exposed to the Commission and your partner Hawks. You believed the winged hero had grown acclimated with Dabi. You'd always see them joking around in the bar—well you'd see Hawks joking around and Dabi looking irritated. You couldn't blame his attachment though. You'd grown attached to the hero as well. Whenever you laid naked against his sleeping vulnerable body, guilt raked throughout your entire body.
You looked down and sat by the ledge. One small jump and you would stumble to your death. You gently kicked your legs up and down though. You heard Hawks' tsked. He seemed to be playing off his general irritability with the situation.
"Are you not going to tell me," he asked. You sighed and looked over to him. His eyes widened, basking in your vulnerability.
"I don't know Hawks. I generally like him, but..." you trailed off. Hawks' eyes narrowed and looked off to the various lights and cars towards the bottom of the street.
"Yeah, I get it. The Commission and all," Hawks sighed. We were pawns to them. Pawns to the villains. Both of your moral compasses were screwed. Hawks let out a chuckle though.
"I honestly think you're worse than me (Y/n). That takes talent. I mean I killed someone," he joked. His voice hardened towards the end of his statement though. You knew he was still upset about that. That night, you had FaceTimed your drunken partner as he spilled his life story and guilt to you.
"Are you...still loyal to the Commission," Hawks asked. Once again, you shrugged. The older you got, the more you disliked hero society. The scary thing you found out was that Stain—the villain that took out many heroes and their colleagues—had a point in his philosophy.
"I don't know," you whispered. Hawks hummed and fluttered his vermilion wings. Some of the feathers flew beside you before returning to his wings. The Number 2 Hero began to smile. His eyes softened, and his pupil began to look more rounded.
"Wouldn't it be nice if we just left. We all ran away, you, Dabi and I to wherever in the world. We wouldn't be heroes, he wouldn't be a villain. We'd just be us—happy," Hawks confessed. A small smile appeared on your lips.
"Yeah...that would be nice. All of us happy together," you whispered.
Your heads both snapped to the large screen in the middle of the city. A worried and shocked reporter was revealed. He seemed to have tears in his eyes. Whatever he was about to announce was going to be big.
"The Number One Hero, Endeavor has been killed. Sources say his death is because of the League of Villains."
Endeavor was killed. Enji was murdered.
You felt a pit in your stomach. You saw Hawks rise, his wings widened to their full length. He looked over at you—his human-looking eyes now seemingly more feral. You were before the new Number One Hero, if you can call him that.
"I'm probably going to have to get on scene," Hawks muttered. It must be hard for him. He did really look up to Endeavor as a kid and now a part of his death was in the hands of you two. Suddenly you heard a large bang. You snapped your head to see the door to the building you were on top of was open. Dabi walked over, a grin on his face. His clothing was filled with ash and parts of blood. His face was bruised and cut up.
"I figured I'd find the two of you here. Come on, we have to celebrate," Dabi announced. You and Hawks shared a look before gazing at Dabi's crazed form. He chuckled at your calm and unsettled reactions.
"It's the dawn of the revolution after all—"
