《How To Get Your Crush To Like You|b.katsuki x reader|》cinco

5. Be yourself
ㅡYou want your crush to like you for who you are, so always be yourself. Don't change yourself or try to be someone you're not.
So what the hell was he doing the past few days, huh?! Make a fool out of himself?!
Bakugou's eyebrows twitched as he looked at the contents of his phone. ?!. Be yourself– but what he has been doing during the past few days was so out of character. Tempted to just exit the article and do what the fuck he wanted, his eyes unconsciously darted themselves to you, your head lying atop the table as you slept.
Yeah, he'd come in to terms with the fact that just by being him wouldn't exactly be able to woo you.
'Damn it, only a few steps to go– you can fucking do this shit," he cheered himself. The door slid open and it took all his wellbeing not to laugh or show any emotion other than being bored once he saw you flinch and immediately sat erect.
"Change into your hero costumes and head to the field. Be quick," was all Aizawa said before exiting once more. You wiped the sleep from your eyes as you looked around, still in a daze.
"Wake up, idiot," Bakugou said as he stood before you, flicking your forehead. You grunted at his actions before standing up yourself. "Good morning..." You muttered, still not fully awake. Bakugou felt himself facepalming once your body found itself slamming on the wall.
Before he was able to go to your aid, he was beaten by the other girls. "Don't worry, Baku-chan. We'll get Y/n for you," Tsuyu comforter him as she, and three other girls (he forgot their names) headed towards you.
"Thanks– Wait, I wasn't worried, you shitheads!" He bellowed, cursing himself for the slip-up. The other girls only giggled and before he knew it, you were led by the others towards the changing room.
"You know Bakugou, just confess to her already, dude! You're so obvious that it hurts!" Kaminari exclaimed before hitting him onnthe back. "Shut your fucking shithole of a mouth before I do it, discount pikachu."
.
.
"Wait, when did I get here," you noted as you were now fully aware of your surroundings. Prolly because of the impact of your body slamming on the wall.
"N/n, you're now awake!" Uraraka chirped. "Ah shit, that was embarrassing," your palm hit your forehead as you recalled the events awhile ago. "Not at all, Y/nnn.

But hey..." Mina trailed off, her smile awfully mischievous, and in that instance, you knew she was up to no good.
"Are you and Bakugou already dating? You two are inseparable!" Toru continued for Ashido. You hummed, changing into your costume before finally opening your mouth to answer her query.
"Nope."
"But do you like him?" Mina was now the one to throw you a question. The others leaned in, anticipating for your answer.
"Yes," you curtly replied.
'So blunt!' All of them thought at the same time.
"Didn't know there'd be a time that someone'd like Bakugou." Jirou commented as she changed, trying to set aside her little, teensy bit of crush on you.
"Well, that time is now. Come on guys, or we'll get another ranting from Sir Aizawa!"
You were the first one to leave.
Jirou's eyes followed your form that departed, her heart clenching as she realized that perhaps she should've confessed when she still had the chance to do so.
She bit her lip, her hues now casted downwards. She was too much of a wuss to actually relay to you her feelings for you, and now, her hesitance had come to bite her back. Surprised at this? No. You were too lovable for your own good that she was aware of the fact that you wouldn't be free of admirers that she had to compete with.
It just didn't occur to her that it'd be this soon.
Momo looked at her friend with furrowed brows, cognizant of what the girl with the purple locks was feeling at the moment. She chose to lag behind, with the two of them now being left behind in the locker room.
"Are you alright?" The ravenette asked the girl next to her with a hushed volume, worry lacing her tone. Of course she isn't, she scolded herself for inquiring for something so idiotic when the answer was so apparent.
Now completely changed, Jirou attempted to smile at her.
"I will be."
As much as she tried to deny it, it wasn't just mere infatuation on her part.
.
.
"Today, we'll have battle training. I will assign the partners and the last one will be the first to engage in combat. The fight will end once one has been thrown out of the bounds or if the other concedes defeat. I'll start now, Iida Tenya and Yaoyorozu Momo," you zoned out, yet you felt someone staring at you so you snapped out of it. You looked at the direction of the perpetrator and true to your instincts, it was the resident explosive of Class 2-A. About to wave at him, you were surprised once you heard your name being called out by your homeroom teacher.

"Bakugou Katsuki and L/n F/n, come to the center now."
"Hey, BoomBoom Boi, don't hold back," his mind drifted towards the fifth step. If being himself is what is stated, then so be it.
"You took the words out of my mouth. But if you lose, metalhead, you're gon' be goin' on a date with me," you nodded at that, finding the bet not that horrendous. In fact, if you weren't so keen on winning, you'd prolly just hold back and let yourself be defeated.
"Sure–"
"Begin," Aizawa's voice cut you off.
Knowing that Bakugou's strongest point was his agileness and quick reflexes, you took it in you to do the first move. Your dominant hand turned inta a club, elongating it just enough and swiping towards Bakugou to set him off his feet. He was caught off guard and you took the opportunity to run close to him and cover your fists with hard steel, ready to punch him. Yet he was quick. He placed his hands on his back to propel himself just enough that he wouldn't lose his footing and finally propelled himself towards you.
His hands formed explosions, ready to be thrown at you, yet you turned your arms into iron scales and placed in an x-formation in front of you to deflect his attack.
The fight went on like this. You attack, he deflects, and he attacks then you deflect. The class just watched the fight with growing anticipation, wondering who will end up as the victor of the battle. Bakugou was strong, yes, but you, too, as well could give the explosive boy a run for his money.
"Let's end this once and for all," and Bakugou seemed to agree with your statement since he readied his ultimate attack.
Hie hands swiped in a circular motion, forming a tornado-like torrent of explosions heading towards you. And, of course, you weren't a lowly degenerate to not be ready of this.
"Howitzer Impact!"
"Iron Tornade!"
The two attacks clashed, and a huge explosion erupted. The whole class covered their eyes once pieces of scrap metal flew everywhere.
Smoke covered the whole area and you used this to your advantage. You were breathing heavily, and you knew that you're pushing your whole body towards its limit.
Your right arm torned into a club and you pushed it to your opponent, your senses at its peak. Explosions reached your arm-club and you retracted it. Letting out a battle cry, you ran towards Bakugou, your feet turning into iron before sending him a hard kick at his torso. He planted the soles of his feet to the ground as he tried to propel himselves forward, yet the both of his arms were already aching from overuse.
No, he could still fight.
He rushed towards you with his right fist ready to attack you. You made it seem as if you were ready to block off his punch in that direction, but immediately, you were able to counter it when it changed course.
This was probably a dumb move and could cost you two some kids in the future, but hey, you were kind of too prideful to let yourself lose so you resorted to an underhanded tactic.
Damn balls were kicked.
You made sure to not kick them so hard, though. Rendering him infertile wasn't included in your To-do list. He doubled-over in pain as he attempted to not let whatever he was feeling show–
And before he knew it, the battle ended with its winner already decided.
"The winner of this battle is L/n F/n," Aizawa announced, his eyes narrowing at how he could feel the pain Bakugou has gone through, and it seemed the male population of your class did so as well.
You walked towards his crouched figure before slinging his arm on your shoulder, supporting him to go toward where the others were. To your surprise, he quickly complied, but not without a few grunts here and there– the sounds filling you with guilt.
"Sorry for kicking your balls."
"Shut it. In a real combat, you shouldn't think of what you'd be able do to your opponent." His voice was hushed and that made you worried all the more.
"Hey Bakugo, you weren't able to hear my end of the deal," and your voice was enough to snap him out of his uncharacteristic silent brooding.
"Well then, what the fuck is it? Want me to do your homework for a week or what?"
"Tomorrow's a weekend, right? I'll text you the details. Meet me at the station tomorrow."
He lost the fight, but he was more than happy with its outcome. But damn, his nuts hurt.
Mission accomplished, Step 5: Completed.

This isn't earth... Here the forests meet the heavens, the mountains touch the clouds and the sun shines bright above. The air is clean, the water sparkles, the people smile; as time grinds its' wheels. Here knights march in step, and dragons wheel in the skies carried the softest breezes towards far different lands. Ships lie in harbor, as humans and elves and dwarves and many races beside scramble, rush about their daily lives; frenzied and frantic. Here mages wait in towers, and king sit upon their thrones planning for war in coming time, here adventure and adventurers roam the world alike unchecked. It's not somethig you could belive unless you saw it with your' own two eyes. It's almost like a dream- But it is not a fantasy.
