Bey's POV
"Hey mama." I said as I walked in with all the girls behind.
"Hey." She hugged and kissed my cheek as she did everybody else.
I put my purse down on the couch and then went in the kitchen. I got something to drink and went back into the living room.
"Where's Angel?" Solange asked.
"She went to have lunch with your father. They should be back soon." She said.
I nodded as I sat on the couch.
"Well what do y'all wanna talk about with her?" She asked.
"Sister stuff." We said.
Okay, the fact that we all said that at the same time. Ma got her eyebrow raised.
"It's nothing bad." I said.
"Alright." She said. "But don't y'all gang up on her."
"Ma." Solange said. "We not gonna do that."
"We just wanna talk to her." Michelle said.
"Okay, you two." She said pointing to me and Kelly. "Keep your hands to yourself."
"What?" Kelly said.
"We not-"
"I know you two." She said. "You mush her-"
"Ma." I said. "None of that's gonna happen."
While we were talking the door open and Angel came in.
"Wow." She said. "All of you are here."
I just shook my head. See this is why we have to talk. My mom got up and grabbed her purse and walked over to Angel.
"Behave." She said then turned to us. "All of you."
She hugged her then left and Angel grabbed a chair. She came around and hugged us and kissed our cheek.
Well, this is the first time since that last phone call that I've really talked to her. I mean she came to my Brooklyn shows but she stayed to herself and I wasn't about to break my good mood.

"So what's up." She said.
"Nothing." I said.
"Working." Kelly and Michelle said.
"Chilling." Solange said.
"That's what's up." She said.
We all sat there awkwardly.
"Okay, seriously what's up." Angel said laughing. "We've never been this awkward around each other."
"We just tryna see where your head at." Kelly said.
"What you mean?I'm fine." She said.
"We've all spoken to you at different times and you seem to always throw in that we busy or you don't know when you gonna see us." Michelle said.
"Cause it's true." She said.
"But it's not what you saying, it's how you saying it." Solange said.
"What am I saying or how am I saying it?" She asked.
"Oh y'all always busy." I said mocking her.
She just looked at me.
"You've been in this life since you've been born." I said. "Why is it a problem now?"
She shrugged her shoulders. Why she gotta be so difficult.
"Tell us what your thinking. We can't read your mind." I said.
She sighed.
"I don't know." She said. "I just feel like I'm back in jail."
"Why?" Michelle asked.
"I'm by myself again." She said.
"But we can't change that." Kelly said.
"We understand your on probation and can't leave New York." I said. "I know I can get you a work permit."
She perked up at that.
"But you need to get your mind right and be settled." I said. "As soon as you got out a couple weeks later you were with me and you should've been with daddy."
"But then I would've been bored and he was getting married and it's just too much." She said frustrated.

"What's too much?" Michelle asked.
"Everything." She said. "I don't know, I'm so lost right now. I finished school."
"That's good." Solange said.
"No it's not." She said. "I can't go to school and make friends. I'm sixteen years old and have one friend. Do you know how that feels?"
None of us said nothing. I mean this seems like it's deeper than I thought. Maybe she should talk to someone about this. I mean, I never been to jaiI. I don't know how that transition works.
"You ever thought about talking to someone?" Michelle asked.
"I'm talking to y'all." She said.
"No, I mean someone that can really understand what you going through." Michelle said. "I think your depressed."
"How you know?" She asked.
"Your showing the signs." Michelle said. "I'm not telling you to do it, I'm just saying consider it."
Angel was looking down then looked at me.
"What you think?" She asked.
"I just want my baby sister back because ever since the probation was set she's been gone." I said.
Angel nodded her head.
"So who's gonna tell mommy? Not it." Angel said.
"Not it"
"Not it."
"Not it."
"Not, god dammit!" Kelly said as we laughed.
"Don't worry, it won't be bad." I said.
"I'm sorry for the way I've acted towards y'all." Angel said. "I didn't mean to come off that way it's just-"
"Awe, forgiven boo." Kelly said. "Come here."
We all hugged in a group hug.
"I love you guys and I didn't mean to blame y'all for just doing y'all jobs." Angel said.
"All forgiven." Solange said as we stayed in the hug.
"Solo." Angel said.
"What?" She asked.
*Burp*
Angel burped right in her ear.
"Damn, Angel!" Solange said.
We got out the hug.
"Why you had to ruin the moment." I said hitting her.
"What did you eat?" Michelle asked.
"Onion rings." Angel said laughing. "But for a minuet I wasn't sure which end it was coming out of."
"If you would've farted I would've pushed you out the damn window." Kelly said.
We was laughing. See this is us, laughing at each other, having fun. Not getting smart with each other. Even though this is a moment I hope Angel gets herself together so we can go back to how we were. I also know it's something's she's not telling us. I hope when the time is right she'll tell us and it won't alter our relationship.

Universe Dysphoria
Release Schedule: Tuesdays & Fridays @ 10AM PST This work has cannon LGBT themes, characters, and situations but does not have explicit sexual content. Originally started in 2005 as a form of self-therapy writing has helped heal many of my wounds. The world grew until the concept of it being self-therapy did not contain it anymore. I scrapped what I had written to that point using it as an outline and started over, building it into a novel format. Containing stories of a diverse population and multiple lead characters each chapter centers on the perspective on the main character in the chapter. Blurb & Section Information Set five hundred years into Earth's future is this sci-fi political space opera. After a solar system fractured by conservative vs. liberal politics begins to settle, humanity is on the cusp of an amazing breakthrough in understanding the universe around them. Who knows what is out there? Part 1: Separation (10 Chapters) – The main players find themselves separated from the life they knew, unwittingly dragged into something larger. Part 2: Freedom (11 Chapters) – The first actions are taken, and choices are made that will impact the universe as a whole to drag it out of its state. Part 3: Knowledge (13 Chapters)
