The team made it to the labyrinth, which was hidden deep in the mountains. These mountains weren't even in a world map. Something felt suspicious, and everyone thought so.
"Juvia thinks that these mountains are quite suspicious." Said Juvia.
"I feel an immense deal of magic power," Erza stated.
"Should we split up?" You asked.
"No way in hell!" Lucy yelled.
"Shhhh!" Everyone shushed Lucy.
"Sorry." She apologized.
"Let's split up, so we can cover more ground." Erza said. Erza handed everyone some 'help' cards Cana made for them.
"Aye," Happy piped.
The groups were Gajeel, Lily and you, Natsu, Happy and Lucy, and Juvia, Gray and Erza. You split up and took different routes.
You and Gajeel were warmly greeted by some guards. You thought it was a great time to try out your new Requip powers.
"Iron Dragon roar!" Gajeel shot his roar at the guards.
There were 4 more. You requipped into your Archer Armour. You shot an arrow that split into four. They hit the guards head on. But one was still standing.
You walked up to him and quickly requipped into your Guardian armour. You bonked his head, your heavy gauntlets creating most of the pain.
You and Gajeel continued walking and turning.

"Shut up!" Gajeel yelled. You cocked a brow.
You then requipped back into your Archer Armour. It was quite comfortable.
You and Gajeel approached more and more guards, which were taken down in seconds. It was a good sign. But just when you thought you and Gajeel took a right turn, a gigantic monster appeared in your path.
"They did say there would be monsters," You sighed.
You made one of your steel keys.

A Phoenix made of fire had appeared out of midair. The two beasts fought with each other with you and Gajeel helping out here and there.
"Y'know, it's been a while since we fought side by side." you said, launching another arrow at the hideous beast.
"Yea? I say we defeat this ugly bastard before he eats us alive!" Gajeel shot his Iron Dragon Pillar at the beast.
You sent Pheonix back. Lily was just watching from above, enjoying the entertainment. You and Gajeel
Intertwined both your hands with each other and closed your eyes.
"Metal Rage! Unison Raid!" You and Gajeel created a grey sphere and launched it at the beast. It hit the beast, barely leaving a mark.
The beast screeched. Lily saw that you and Gajeel were having trouble and decided to come and help. He transformed into his battle form and flew right into the middle of you and Gajeel.
"Look who decided to help." you said, incorporating a lot of sarcasm.
"It's about time," Gajeel scoffed.
Lily just shrugged and charged for the beast. Just as Pantherlily was about to stab the beast with his sword, the beast charged Lily into a wall, leaving Lily severely wounded.
"Dammit!" Gajeel growled. "Son of a bitch!"
Gajeel turned his arm into a sword, and attempted to stab the beast, but failed. The beast sent him flying back. Gajeel was badly hurt and struggled to get up.
"Gajeel!" You ran to Gajeel and knelt down beside him.
You looked worriedly at Gajeel and then glared at the beast. It roared and then sent a giant sphere of fire towards you and Gajeel.
"(Y/n)! Move, you'll get hurt!" Gajeel yelled.
"There's no way in hell I'd let you take this blow!" You shouted. You stepped up in front of Gajeel, guarding him, ready to take the hit.

"(Y/n) move!" Gajeel shouted.
"No, Gajeel!" The fireball hit you and you protected Gajeel.
There was a massive explosion. Lily looked over in shock. Gajeel was ready to cry. You were dead. There was no sign of movement coming from the cloud of smoke at all.
Or so they thought.
After the smoke had cleared a bit, they saw a black figure in the middle of the remaining smoke. It was you. And you were in that black armour again. Your eyes had turned a deep red, and you were untouched. Gajeel was overjoyed to see you okay.
But he was worried about the armour.
He decided to use Cana's card and call Erza.
-
Ding ding!
Ding ding!
The card rung. Erza looked at the card and saw it was Gajeel. Her group had just finished dealing with a monster.
"Seems like they need our help," Erza said.
The group nodded and followed the cards directions.
-
Erza, Gray and Juvia ran down the hallway and came across Gajeel.
"See her?" Gajeel pointed to you. Erza nodded "That's the armour that she killed Hells Lairs' guild master with." He managed to say.
"Whoa, (y/n) almost looks terrifying." Gray said.
"Juvia, Gray, take care of Lily and Gajeel." Erza pointed at the said mages. She walked toward you. Before she could reach you, you darted for the beast.
"You little pest!" You yelled at the roaring beast.
Your sword was directed straight for it.
"(Y/n)! Hold up!" Erza tried getting your attention, but it was no use.
"You piece of crap!" You shouted at the beast.
You jumped really high and got onto the beasts back.
The beast screeched and tried shaking you off. You stabbed the beast and killed it.
Erza looked at you in shock. Gray and Juvia were astonished. You took the sword out of the beasts back. Blood was dripping down the sword. Erza started to run up to you but you had collapsed onto the ground, due to the amount of magic drained out of you. Erza caught your falling body and placed you on the floor.
"This armour. I've never seen it before." Erza looked at it.
The armour disappeared and your were back into your old clothes. On the bright side, Lucy and Natsu found the mans daughter and defeated the lab staff.

Kess's locket marks her as one of the Errant- people with control over dimensions and time, and the same people rumored to have captured her brother across the city. Inside, Kess finds an even darker side of the city bent on killing the Errant-using any means necessary. Getting Hard (Journey of a Tank)
Herald Stone always built tank characters in every MMORPG he played. To be immortal—that was his first Goal, a simple childhood dream. However, the turbulent realities of life put an end to his gaming days. Years passed, and Herald Stone, now having attained success and stability, was presented with the opportunity to redeem himself...to fulfill his first Goal. Trivial? Childish? Others might think so. But Herald Stone always fulfilled his Goals—every single one. No matter what. Immortality beckoned in Mother Core Online, and this time Herald Stone would answer. Choosing a long-forgotten race, hidden away in an unknown region, the journey of an immortal tank begins. This is the tale of Herald Stone...getting hard. Schedule: Mon-Wed-Fri ~1.8k-2.3k words per chapter. Also published on Scribblehub. My other ongoing story: REND | Royal Road Expect a focus on building a true tank in MMORPGs. Heavy game elements and numbers are present. But actual math will take a backseat to strategies involving skill builds and synergies that steadily become more complex while remaining understandable. The main character is atypical in LitRPGs or web novels as a whole. He might take some getting used to. Character arcs will develop over a long period. What you see now will be different as the main character changes. The start of Getting Hard is slow-paced (more so than others of the genre) and includes world-building and character development before focusing on the LitRPG.
