"That punk's gonna pay." you tightened your fist.
You sat under the all too famous big tree, chewing on a spoon, and listening to music on your MP3. Recently, a dark guild called Phantom Lord declared war against Fairy Tail.
Obviously, Fairy Tail won. But, you were unhappy when you heard about Gajeel joining the guild. Juvia also joined, but you got to know her and she was a very kind girl. Juvia, Natsu, Erza, Lucy, and Gray were at Akane resort and you didn't really have any friends other than Cana around. Hopefully Team Natsu didn't get into trouble.
"Black Steel Gajeel? What a joke." you gagged. During your fight with Gajeel, he had given you a scar on your neck. Right through your guild mark. You caressed it.
"So Gajeel's a joke, huh?" A deep voice said behind you, startling you.
"Wha..!" You jumped up and raised your guard. "Who's there?"
A tall figure leaned on the big tree with his arms crossed.
"A punk." He mocked. It was none other than the all-mighty Gajeel Redfox.
"You think you're funny, don't you?" You said.
"I'm far away from funny. I'm just here to make a friend." He retorted.
"You here to piss me off instead?" You sat back down, pulling your legs close to your chest.
"Whatever, shrimp." Gajeel sat beside you, cross-legged. You shifted over a little bit.
"What do you even want?" You growled.
"Well, we are part of the same guild now. I figured I would apologize for y'know..." Gajeel started to examine your scar. "...hurting you."
You flashed Gajeel a dirty look and quickly covered your guild mark. Silence grew over the both of you.
Gajeel figured it was time to break the ice.

"I like bacon." Gajeel muttered, letting a light pink blush dust his cheeks.
You gaped and let out a small chuckle. "You what?" You spat.
"I said I like bacon!" Gajeel said loudly.
You laughed to your hearts content.
"Whats the matter, Shrimp? Is there anything wrong with liking bacon?!" Gajeel shouted.
"It's nothing..." You stopped laughing "I just wouldn't expect someone like you to say that out of the blue. Plus, I, as a matter of fact, also really love bacon."
"Oh, good." Gajeel rolled his eyes.
"You're one hell of a man, Gajeel." You punched his arm playfully.
"What?" Gajeel grumbled.
"No seriously. Do you even have eyebrows?" You chuckled.
A tick mark appeared on Gajeel's forehead, but he calmed down immediately after, keeping his cool.
"I was so close to punching you all the way to Crocus." He growled.
"Whoa, whoa. Pipe it down, big guy." You raised your hands, surrendering.
"Why am I even wasting my time with you?" Gajeel said.
"I don't know. Why are you?" You asked.
"That question was rhetorical!" Gajeel shouted. "I'm outta here."
"Oh, and we're almost on good terms." You said, putting your earbuds back in your ears. Gajeel looked back at you, and then left.
You watched the children of Magnolia play around.
'Maybe Gajeel and I could get along...'
