KATELYN'S POV

It was the night before Wrestlemania 35, we were in Brooklyn for the Hall of Fame ceremony, and I was excited to see everybody. Drew and I had thought it be best if I stay at home for a while, Hunter and Vince were brilliant and let me work from home, emailing the production team everything they needed for Drew's rivalry with Roman Reigns. Speaking of Joe, he had kept his promise and stayed away. We had heard through people at work that him and Galina were back together and that they were meant to be trying for another baby. Call me skeptical but you don't have a baby to fix a relationship. As for Drew and I, we were having a few problems, but he didn't seem to want to sort things. Onscreen and in public, we were the perfect couple, yet behind closed doors, it was a different story.

'Wow, you look amazing princess,' Drew said as I emerged from the bathroom. I had treated myself to a gorgeous floor-length purple dress, corsetted at the back, and a silver clutch purse. Teamed with a pair of silver ballet pumps, I felt like a million bucks. I'd gone for simple make up, smokey eyes and a lipstick to match my dress, all finished off with a Harry Potter charm bracelet that Drew brought me when we went to Wizarding World Orlando a few weeks ago.

'You don't look so bad yourself,' I giggled, taking in the sight of Drew in a 3 piece suit with a green and blue tartan tie and pocket square. After a final look in the mirror, and a quick selfie, Drew and I left the hotel room and headed for the lobby, where we were meeting Austin, Adam and Dolph, who were all going stag.

'Damn girl,' Austin called out when we arrived in the lobby. 'You are looking hot.' I smiled and thanked him, until I saw who was draped on his arm. Britt the bitch. It was weird. I thought they broke up.

'Dude, you are totally punching above your weight,' Dolph joked.

'Screw you, Dolph,' Drew laughed, punching him playfully on the arm. 'Where's Adam?'

'Right here,' came the 7footer's voice from behind us. I turned and grinned at him, surprised to see Alexa on his arm. I gave the diminutive woman a quick hug and complimented her on her dress.

'Who's going in which car?' I asked as the group walked to the entrance, where a fleet of black town cars were waiting to take us all to the Barclays Centre, where the event was being held.

'I'll go with Adam and Bliss, if you wanna go with Drew and Kate,' Dolph offered.

'Sounds good to me. See you there.'

When we got to the arena, barricades lined the sidewalk, screaming fans behind them, and paparazzi were mingled in with the crowd leading up to the entrance. I climbed out of the car, taking Drew's outstretched arm, and we walked up the red carpet, posing for photos and signing a few autographs. We were ushered into the venue by a security guard, where we came face to face with Joe. And Galina.

'Oh, Katelyn, I'm so sorry to hear about your accident, but I guess karma is a bitch and next time you'll think twice before stealing another woman's husband,' Galina sneered before dragging Joe into the arena. I looked up at Drew, panicking, who hugged me close.

'Drew, Katelyn, can we get a few words?' Charley Caruso asked us, ruining our intimate moment. I quickly plastered a smile on my face and turned to face her. 'Are y'all excited about tonight and how do you feel knowing that you're only 24 hours away from the biggest fight of your life?'

'Charley, it's great to be here,' Drew answered. 'To think that it's 2 years since I came home and it was announced that Katelyn had signed with WWE is crazy. So much has happened in those 2 years and tomorrow night, it all comes to an end. I finally get my hands on the man who attacked my wife and it won't be pretty. That's why I'm challenging Roman Reigns to a no disqualification, no holds barred, anything goes, match. Bring tables, chairs, hell, bring the entire Samoan family for all I care. But I know one thing, the cancer didn't beat your ass Joe, but I bloody will.' Drew grabbed my hand and we walked away, into the arena. I saw Hunter walking over to us, a huge grin on his face.

'Drew, that promo was epic. The Twitterverse is blowing up about this match,' Hunter gushed. 'Kate, we have a surprise for you later on, so just stick around.' With that, the COO of WWE left us alone.

The show started without a hitch, but after 2 hours, my butt was going numb and I couldn't wait to get back to the hotel. I looked out at the fans sat in the stands when over the PA system, a familiar song played out and I looked toward the stage where my old bandmates, Charlie, Josh and Maxx, were walking toward the ring. I glanced over at Drew, who just grinned and shrugged.

'Ladies and gentlemen, we've been asked here tonight as a favour to our good friend, Triple H,' Charlie began.

'As you are all fully aware, the last 2 years have been the best, and worst, for one of WWE's rising stars,' Josh said.

'Rumours have been rife over the last few weeks about why there is no celebrity inductee this year, but I can guarantee you there is. Not only is she one of the best singers in the world, she's also the best wife and mum. You all know her as Katelyn McIntyre, but to us she will always be little Kate from Ayr, Scotland,' Maxx said. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a camera was trained on me, awaiting my reaction. 'Katelyn, you are an inspiration to women all over the globe and I'm so proud to call you my best friend. You have overcome so much in the 2 years since you debuted in NXT. You reconnected, and married, Drew, you have a gorgeous little boy at home, but most of all, you've endured abuse that would've rendered others useless. Katelyn, we have one more surprise for you.' Triple H's theme played and Hunter came down to the ring.

'Katelyn, Maxx isn't wrong when he says you're an inspiration,' Hunter began. 'I hope and pray that my girls at home grow up to be as strong and as fearless as you are. You've become an inspiration to millions worldwide. That's why I'm so proud to announce that this year's celebrity Hall of Fame inductee is none other than our very own Katelyn McIntyre.' Drew, Austin, Adam, Alexa and Dolph, along with almost the entire arena stood up and began clapping and chanting my name. I stood up, bewildered and trying so hard not to cry, Drew kissed me and told me how proud he was of me, then I joined my old bandmates and Hunter in the ring. I hugged each of the lads in turn and when it came to Hunter, the tears finally came and I hugged him tight.

'You deserve this,' he whispered in my ear. 'Now, turn around, smile and tell everyone your story.' I let go of Hunter, dried my eyes with the handkerchief Maxx thrust into my hand and turned around to the podium. I quickly cleared my throat and looked around the arena. Drew and my friends were still cheering loudly.

'Wow,' I began, trying to find the words. 'I'm speechless.'

'First time for everything,' Austin shouted, which earned a huge laugh from the fans in the stands.

'Honestly, I don't know what to say. Firstly, I want to thank my amazing, and incredibly handsome, husband Drew, who has been by my side throughout everything over rather last 2 year. In fact, it is 2 years this weekend since we reconnected...'

'And boned,' Becky called out, laughing.

'No, not quite, but we reconnected and we have been inseparable ever since. I wouldn't be here today without him. I want to thank the awesome friends I've made whilst here, Adam, Austin, Alexa, Dolph, Finn, Becky, so many I can't even name everyone. My family back home in Scotland, my mum and dad, who I know are watching right now. I love you and miss you so much. Vince, Shane, Steph and Hunter, thank you for taking a chance and giving me a job, one that I never believed would open so many doors for me. I even got to compete in a Royal Rumble match, which is insane. Finally, thank you to all of you, the WWE Universe. Throughout everything I've been through, I've had so much love and support from you, the fans, and believe me when I say that love is reciprocated tenfold. Y'all have been amazing. One last one, quickly, I know Hunter is clock watching right now and I'm rambling, but to our son, AJ, you're still only little, but you'll be able to watch this back when you're older and realise how badass your mummy is. I love you. Enjoy the rest of the night guys. Thank you.' I was ushered out of the ring with Maxx, Josh and Charlie by Hunter, up the ramp and into the backstage area. I hugged each of my band members in turn and then Hunter.

'Katelyn, I meant every word I said out there. You are an absolute inspiration to millions of people worldwide and I can honestly say that hiring you was one of the smartest business decisions I ever made.' Hunter hugged me and I couldn',t help but cry. I felt a tap on my shoulder, turned around and saw Drew stood there, his arms open, waiting to envelope me in a hug.

'I'm so proud of you princess,' Drew whispered into my ear as he held me to his chest. 'I love you so much.'

'Let me guess, you're blowing Hunter now too,' a female voice said behind me. I turned and saw Joe stood there, his arm around Galina's waist.

'Fuck you Galina,' Drew spat. 'Don't you dare start anything because I will finish it.'

'Well, it seems to be how she manages to get everything she wants, by sucking dick and laying on her back for any poor fuck that will have her.'

'Does that include Joe? Because I know she's had him multiple times. Maybe you should ask him just why he wanted you back so suddenly. Did he tell you that I caught him wanking on our patio?'

'Shut up,' Joe growled.

'What's wrong Joe? Scared of the truth?'

'Enough,' I shouted. 'I'm fed up of this bickering. Galina, I'm sorry for whatever I'm meant to have done to you, I wish I could remember what happened to make you hate me so much, but I can't.'

'I'll tell you exactly what happened. You were a slut who fucked my husband and then cried rape...'

'Galina, that enough,' Joe interrupted.

'Babe, let's just go,' I said to Drew, who nodded. 'Thank you for tonight Hunter. I'm sorry it had to end this way.'

Drew and I arrived back at the hotel around 40 minutes later, fans still lined up outside, hoping for a glimpse of their favourite superstar. Drew ushered me through the crowd, into the hotel lobby, then went back out to get my purse which I had left in the town car.

'Excuse me, are you Katelyn Galloway?' the receptionist asked me.

'Yes, is there a problem?' I replied walking over to the front desk where she was situated.

'I have a message for you from an Amanda Moore..'

'That's my mum.'

'She asked that you call her immediately.'

'Thank you.' Drew reentered the hotel and came over to me. 'Babe, can I have your phone? I need to call mum.'

'Why? What's wrong?'

'I don't know, she called the hotel and left a message.' Walking to the elevator, Drew handed me his phone, I unlocked it and dialled home. 'Hey Mum,' I said once she answered. 'Everything okay? I just got your message.' We stepped into the elevator when it arrived and Drew pressed for our floor.

'What's your schedule like? Can you come home anytime soon?' Mum asked me.

'If you give me a moment, I can have a look in my diary. What's going on?' The elevator stopped at our floor, we exited the glass box and walked down the corridor to our room.

'Your dad and I really need to see you.' Drew took the key card out of my purse and opened the door, letting me go in first. I kicked off my shoes, I sat on the end of the bed and fished out my diary.

'I have no free time until the middle of June, after Money In The Bank. We have a week off, but have a trip to Hawaii planned. Mum, can't you tell me over the phone?' I heard her sigh.

'It's about Drew.' I looked up at my husband, confusion evident on my face.

'Spit it out. What's going on?' I was beginning to get annoyed.

'Kate, Drew is cheating on you.'

'Don't be stupid. Drew and I are always together. I would know.'

'Ask him where he was last weekend because he wasn't where he told you he was. He was in Glasgow. Heather saw him going into the Belmont with a woman.'

'No, Mum, you're wrong.'

'I just thought you should know.'

'I don't believe you. I gotta go. Speak to you soon.' I ended the call and looked at Drew.

'Everything okay?' he asked as I handed him his phone back.

'Where were you last weekend?'

'I told you...'

'Were you in Glasgow?' He looked away. 'Drew, answer me. My mum has it in her head that you're cheating in me.' Drew slumped down the wall onto the floor.

'Yes, I went home..' I felt tears begin to form and threaten to fall.

'Who is she?'

'It's not what you and Mandy are thinking. Yes, I went home and yes I met a woman, but I'm not having an affair. The woman I met had emailed me a few weeks ago, claiming to be my biological mother. I had to go and meet her. I was wrong to not tell you and I can understand it you're angry with me, but I never meant to deceive you.' He stood up and sat next to me, putting his hand on my thigh. 'Katelyn, did you honestly think that I would cheat on you?'

'No, of course not. Why didn't you tell me?'

'I wanted to meet her and see if she was legit.'

'Babe, no matter what, I would've been here for you. We're in this together. What happened?'

'We did a DNA test and it came back that she wasn't my mum.'

'Of course not, Angela was your mum.' Drew placed a finger under my chin, lifted my face to meet his, kissing me lightly on the lips.

'Thank you for understanding. I love you Katelyn Galloway.'

'I love you Drew. Don't ever forget that.' I kissed him again, straddling his waist, pushing him onto the mattress.

'Y'know we're not meant to have sex the night before Mania?' Drew said between kisses.

'I guess we'll just have to be quiet then.' I grinned, standing up. 'Can you unzip me?' I turned around, Drew stood up and unzipped my dress, letting it pool around my feet. Underneath my dress, I had a black corset on, with a matching thong and stockings.

'Holy fuck, you look so sexy. I really am the luckiest man alive.' I turned back around to face him.

'Drew, I want us to try for another baby.'
