《My Sister's Best Friend [Completed]》*BONUS CHAPTER 2*

"No way, West. She is not ready," I say drinking a cup of coffee. Westlyn is pouring herself a cup and sitting down across from me.

I feel like we are at a meeting. She has her hands crossed and she is looking at me intensely.

Our routine is simple. We wake up a half an hour or so before the kids do so we can enjoy each other's company. Having three kids is not something I ever expected for myself but I wouldn't have it any other way.

"Finn, be reasonable." Westlyn's eyes are steady on mine. I try not to look away. We are having a staring match and both of us are determined to win.

I shake my head.

Westlyn throws her hands up in the air and groans.

"Peyton is sixteen-years-old," Westlyn argues.

"Thanks, Honey," I say sarcastically, "I didn't know how old our daughter is."

Westlyn laughs and covers her mouth. She doesn't want it to seem like I'm winning this argument.

"Maddy dated way younger than sixteen," Westlyn says.

"That is the worst example you could give. I do not want Peyton to be anything like Maddy was as a teenager." I want to hide just thinking about my daughter being anything like my sister used to be.

"Maddy's awesome," Peyton says walking into the kitchen. She pours herself a cup of coffee and sits next to West.

Two against one.

"Yeah, but you know she had a lot to work through before she became awesome," I tell her.

"Yes, I know," Peyton rolls her lined eyes. When the hell did my baby start wearing makeup?

"This is about the date, isn't it?" Peyton asks.

Westlyn nods then shrugs giving me a pleading look.

"You're too young. End of discussion." I say putting my cup in the dishwasher and begin heading up the stairs.

"This is not over, Finn!" West calls after me.

I'm not changing my mind. Sixteen is way too young. When do normal teenage girls start dating? Maybe if I had a normal upbringing I'd know this crap.

"Hey, Dad," Cole says walking out of his room wearing his baseball jersey.

"Ready for your game?" I ask my son. He has the same eyes as Peyton but brown hair like Westlyn. The perfect combination.

"Yup," he says, "I think P should be able to go out on the date."

"Why?" I ask amused.

"Tyler is my little league coach and a super good baseball player. He's cool and nice," he shrugs.

Sometimes this kid acts way older than nine.

"Tyler?" I ask, "isn't he older than P?"

"I don't know." Cole runs down the stairs and I can hear him rummaging through the cabinets.

Westlyn walks by me with a knowing look into the baby's room. Reagan is standing up in her crib with a mischievous smile on her face.

"What are up to?" I ask walking in behind West.

"Ewwww," West laughs picking up the toddler and going over to the changing table.

"Doesn't this remind you of when P was a baby?" I ask looking at Reagan's blonde curls and big smile. She is just starting to walk, just like when West met P for the first time.

"Of course. I'm glad I got to see Peyton grow up, you know? If I met you when I was older P and I might not have bonded as well as we did."

"If this is another comment about P going on that date..." I trail off looking at Raegan and thinking about Peyton.

"Just think about it," West says kissing me lightly and heading out of the room with the baby.

I knock on Peyton's door and she says to come in. She is sitting in the middle of her bed reading a book with a colorful cover.

"Are you here to tell me I can't go?" She asks closing the book.

I shake my head, "why do you want to go out with him?" I ask.

Peyton smiles, "he's smart and funny. We've been friends for a while and I really like him. We can go out on your terms. You can sit between us at a movie or something," she rambles.

I laugh, "you can go. But there will be rules."

"Yes, sir," she says saluting me and we both laugh.

"I love you, P," I say.

She hugs me tightly, "I love you too, Dad. Thank you so much!"

She runs down the steps screaming for Westlyn, "thank you!" Peyton says to West.

"Thank your brother," I say.

"Why?" She looks at Cole who is shoveling cereal into his mouth.

"I told Dad that Tyler is great," his mouth is full.

Peyton smiles, "thanks Coley Woley."

Cole rolls his eyes.

Then the chaos begins of everyone trying to get ready at the same time.

This chaos has become my home and I wouldn't want it any other way.

"You made the right choice," West says wrapping her arms around me.

I kiss the top of her head, "I think we should have another baby."

Westlyn smiles, her eyes bright and she's shaking her head, "we're done, Finn. We can't have babies every time one of them grows out of the crib."

"Please," I beg.

"We'll talk about it." We kiss until Cole comes in screaming 'ew', Peyton laughs, and Reagan starts throwing her breakfast all over the floor.
