Y/n's POV
Yes Naruto... my next door neighbor. He was so loud all the time. Except when he'd go to the academy. I had heard him leave and rush down the hall.
It was silent and peaceful now. I was off work today so I was just going to do some grocery shopping later. Before that all I did was sit around or do chores.
I was about to get ready to go when I heard people in his apartment. People I had never heard before. I set my things down and listened through the wall.
"I'm going to go in the back now," an old voice said.
"Alright I'm going to look around out here," a younger voice answered.
Two of them. One in the back and one out front. I could take them out one by one. I had moved here recently but I was a Sensei from another village. I had come here because I was going to work in training graduates from the Academy.
I stepped out of my apartment silently and peaked through the crack of the door. It was what looked like another Sensei. He was in the vest and his face was covered.
I felt the ground and found a pebble. I threw it in the door and it bounced. The Sensei looked at the pebble and that's when I went in and attacked.
Even though Naruto had only been my neighbor for a couple weeks I was not about the let his house get searched.
I slid down and kicked the back of his knee. He lost his balance and I stood quickly in front of him to attempt to knock him out.
I went in for a swing while he was still falling but he grabbed my waist and I was falling with him. Everything was happening extremely fast.
I landed on top of him. He flipped us over and pinned my arms above my head with one hand, and a knife to my neck with the other hand.

I grunted and struggled to push my arms away. He only stared down at me as I struggled.
I leaned my head back to try and see if the old man was coming, but the knife grazed my skin and I gasped.
He pulled the knife away from my neck but kept my arms pinned. He pulled out a book with a circle and a slash over the circle. And he started reading. While straddling me.
I had to admit his dominance was attractive, but I was not happy to be this helpless.
"What are you doing here?" I asked through gritted teeth.
He moved his hand so his book no longer covered my face. "That's none of your business. Why are you attacking a shenobi?" He asked back.
"Very funny. Why are you attacking a shenobi?" I asked and his eyes flashed an alarmed look.
"Sensei Kakashi I see you've met Sensei Y/n, in a rather delightful way," the old man said. But he wasn't just any old man he was Hokage!
"Hokage I am so sorry! I didn't mean to disrupt you," I said shocked. What was happening?
"Kakashi please get off of her," he said lazily. "Y/n I understand you are Naruto's neighbor, but I was just here to show Kakashi Naruto's current living situations."
I nodded. "Please forgive me I was just trying to protect Naruto," I said and lowered my head. I'm such an idiot and that Kakashi guy won't stop looking at me.
I blushed to myself and lifted my head. "I am sorry Kakashi. I hope this does not put a wall between us you are a skilled fighter and you have my respect."
He seemed to smile under his mask. "No worries," he responded in a cool tone.
"How about we all go out for ramen?" Hokage said and smiled. How was I supposed to say no now?

I grabbed my keys and locked my apartment. I was dressed in a black long sleeved shirt with shorts on and a jean jacket covering my shoulders.
We all went to the restaurant and we sat at a booth. Hokage practically forced Kakashi and I to sit together. He would block his side of the booth and be so stubborn.
How was Kakashi supposed to eat with his mask? I wondered as I looked at his outlines mouth. He moved his head so we held eye contact.
I sat up straight and blushed. Again. I heard him laugh lightly from under his mask.
"Y/n have whatever you like," Hokage said to me.
"I'm sorry, again, but I am not very hungry," I told him. I just wanted to go grocery shopping. "Well Y/n if you don't eat anything, then I'll be here slurping while you two watch me or steal glances at each other," he said.
A noise of surprise both came out of Kakashi and I. We both looked opposite ways.
"Well if you two aren't going to eat I'm not going to eat. I'll be taking my leave now," he said and stood up. Kakashi stood up so I stood up as well. He basically towered over me. His white hair making him seem even more tall.
"Oh no, you two aren't coming with me. I think you two need to spend some time together," he said happily. "Stay here together for an hour together. If you leave, I'll prohibit you from teaching." And with that he left.
I sat down and Kakashi sat down as well. "You know you can sit on the other side of the booth," I told him. I was on the i side so I couldn't get up without crawling on top of him.
"No," he said and pulled out his stupid book.
"Listen here Kakashi put your stupid book down and we are going to talk. We are going to get to know each other and I don't care what you have to say!" I loudly said to him.
He put his book down and looked at me. He studied my face which made me blush more.
"You keep looking at my face but I can't see yours I think this is unfair," I told him. He smiled.
"Y/n I have no idea why Hokage is making us spend time together but we might as well make use of the time," he said. He was really just rephrasing what I said in a calmer tone.
"Okay," I agreed.
The next hour flew by. Kakashi and I had talked so much. He was actually not that bad. He seemed to be having an okay time as well.
I had made a joke and he laughed at it. We were both on the same side of the booth and facing each other. His laugh was very pleasant and I just stared at him. He looked so happy and so different from the beginning of the hour.
"Listen I have to go grocery shopping and it's been about an hour and a half. It was nice getting to know you," I said and smiled.
He got up from the booth so I could exit and smiled at me. "This was fun. Maybe we can not eat together again."
With that I slowly walked out of the restaurant. I looked back to see he was blushing a small bit. I blushed so red the cool breeze felt nice on my face. Maybe one day I'd see his.

I've been studying English for about 2 years now and thought this would be a good opportunity to increase my writing skill at the same time. I am currently studying my degree at a University so I'll continue to edit and write more chapter whenever it's convenient for me to do so (which is like, all the times haha). My first work can turn out to be a bit crude, but I hope you guys will be patient and allow little small slime to grow. Thanks!!!
