That night, Lay is sitting in the passenger seat of Luhan's car, watching the landscape fly by out the window.

"I still can't believe I'm doing this." nervously, says Luhan.

"Cheer up! It's not like you're driving me to an execution."

"It sure feels that way."

Suddenly, the look on Lay's face gets tougher.

"Look, I know you guys think that.. that I'm being crazy, or whatever, but-"

"I don't think that at all! I think.. I think you've been through a lot, and if this is what you feel you have to do, then I'll help you." Luhan says.

"Luhan.. thanks for being so understanding."

"Of course. That's what I'm here for.. 'understanding stuff'" saying so, Luhan rolls his eyes and focuses on driving.

Soon, the two of them are back from the areal corporate office with the key of Lay's neighbourhood abadoned house and driving back to the place.

At the end of the drive, the abadoned house looms like a storm cloud on the horizon. Its darkened windows full of a nameless forebading.

"This must be the place.." Luhan exclaims with wonder.

"Yeah, this is it." says Lay.

They get out of the car and gawk up at the house's once majestic facade, their heart beating faster.

"It's even creepier than I imagined." Luhan says with fear, "Are you sure I can't come with you?"

"Sorry lu, I have to do this by myself."

"If you insist.. when should I pick you up? Tomorrow morning?"

Lay continues to stare up at the house, barely hearing Luhan.

"Oh.. I'll call you. I don't know how long I'll be."

Luhan gives him a final goodbye and enters his car.

As the tail lights of Luhan's car recede into the distance, Lay takes a deep breath, and turns to the old grumpy house with thousand memories of his childhood.

"Well.. I guess it's just you and me now."

Lay makes his way up to the broken steps leading to the house, taking care not to fall.

Soon, he's standing by the house's great oak doors. He grasps the handle.

He crosses the threshold, letting the door fall closed behind him, and look out across the dilapidated foyer.

"Wow, everything is just like it used to be. I can't believe these all are still here." Lay wonders.

He takes in the splintered furniture, the threadbare carpet, and the glittering wreckage of a fallen chandelier.

..A sudden creak of floorboards makes the hair stand up on the back of his neck..

He crosses the foyer, feeling of unease growing with each step.

He feels a shiver run up his spine as he notices the cricket ball he left inside the house in his childhood.. at the same place it was.

He walks over to the foot of the stairs and picks up the cricket ball, shaking.. getting traumas of back when he was 13.. and he-

"Why are you so scared? It's just a cricket ball." a little girl appears with a soft voice.

Lay screams and stumbles backwards. His foot misses the next step and he goes tumbling down the staircase, landing hard at bottom.

Lay's head bounces against the marble floor, and everything goes black..
