《Peridot x Human!Reader》Chapter 4 - Ice cubes and Aleins

Last night was one of the weirdest one's you've ever had. It was probably because you have a green roommate living with you now.
Peridot was constantly waking you up to ask you questions about different things. At one point, you woke up to her trying to figure out how the 'frozen bricks' came out of your 'food storage machine' and ice was scattered all over the floor with a startled Peridot standing in the middle of them all.
Another time, she woke you up to ask you why humans sleep and why they do it on a 'rectangular box'. You were partially frustrated, but at the same time, happy. You have never had someone so foreign to such simple things like a toaster. So you did only what you could do; you answered all of her questions and explained things to her. You may have lost a few hours of sleep, but you may have gained some trust between Peridot and yourself.
This morning, you luckily didn't work this weekend, So you had the chance to catch up on the few hours of sleep you lost. When you did wake up, you found Peridot surfing through your television channels. You smiled on the scene, watching her 'ooh' and 'ah' at all the buttons and what they did to the screen.
When you let out a small chuckle, she swiftly turned around to see you, having her hands on the back of the couch as she crouched behind it and hid part of her face. "What are you doing here human?! I thought you were in your resting phase?"
"I was," You spoke"but I have to wake up at some point, Peri. I don't do it for very long." as you talked to her, you make yourself a bowl of cereal. "Not sure if it's worth asking, but do you want anything to eat?"

"n-no! that's disgusting!" Peridot reacted with a twisted face.
When you walked back over to the couch and sat down next to her, you crunched on your cereal and asked "Why?" The look on her face was confusion.
"Why? Because I don't need to! There would be no point in putting globs of substance into my speech hole!" You had to giggle again at her interesting language. "Okay then." You smiled at her and took another bite.
As Peridot turned back to the television, You sat back and watching her with interest. She played with the buttons, seemingly experimenting with what they do to the screen in front of her.
You decided to ask a question that's been nagging at you. "So Peridot, you always call me a 'human' as if that's what you're not. If that's true, then what are you?" You bit your lip a little, not sure if this would be a good or bad response.
"I'm a Gem, of course." She only took her eyes off the screen for a small second, and then quickly turned back to it. She said it as if it was completely normal.
"Wait, what? what's that? like on a ring?" you sat up in interest. 'So she's not a human?' you thought.
"What? No! A Gem! Don't you humans know anything? She turned to you with aggravation and confusion on her face.
You kept a small smile on your face though. "Can you teach me?" You started to set your now empty bowl onto the coffee table in front of you both and turned more towards her.
Peridot turned in your direction as well, but held the remote control close to herself. "Well, it's uh.." She started, but blushed at the question and thought to herself 'Why is this human so interested in me?'

Suddenly, Peridots fingers floated upward into a square and formed a sort of electronic board filled with information, almost like a computer screen. "Whoa." You gasped. This was definitely something humans couldn't do.
As you watched with intense interest, you slowly got closer to get a better look. Peridot simply eyed you with a nervous look. "Here are a few examples." Peridot quickly pulled up images with her fifth finger and scrolled through pictures of different 'Gems' One was of an large orange being with long white hair and a quarts for her nose. "This was my escort to this cruddy rock of a planet. Not sure what may have happened to her, but I'm sure I'll find out soon." Then she quickly flipped through many other pictures of other supposed Gems that she knew back on Homeworld.
"Wow, so you're like, an alien?" You whispered. You're eye's were filled with amazement as you started to realize what this meant.
"I..Guess you could put it that way." She spoke slowly. She turned her face towards yours, looking at you intensley, waiting for your reaciton.
You looked up at her and grinned widely with stars in your eyes "That's so cool Peri!"

The Dweeb Prince and the Eight Cursed Princesses
Prince, despite his name, was more of a dweeb high school student, who often spends his free time reading instead of socializing. One day, he discovered a secret section of the library, and in it was a mysterious book. Then, his careless action of opening it unleashed eight curses of the different princesses living in the book. Those curse will jinx his fellow female schoolmates so each of them would suffer a tragic end.But hope remains, in the form of a fairy called Pixie. Together, Prince and Pixie will track down each individual possessed by the curse and guide them to their story's happy conclusions instead of the tragic ones. With that, Prince will have to deal with classic fairy tales such as Snow White, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, and others in a modern setting. Note: The 'HAREM' tag doesn't mean that the MC will explicitly enter a polygamous relationship with multiple girls. The tag was added because this story involves encountering and dealing with different girls without entering the dating relationship. So yeah, this is more like the harem tag in anime rather than the harem tag explained here in RR. Releases a chapter every Sunday.
