《Peeta and katniss forever♥♡》Graduation

3 months later
I wake to the soft blow of Peetas breath on my forehead.
He smiles down at me.
"You ready?"
"No" I sigh and happily snuggle into him, taking in his scent.
With help from Peeta and very generous teachers, today I graduate alongside Peeta.
With promises of bacon, Peeta eventually gets me out of bed.
I stumble downstairs to the smell of sizzling calories. Mmmm. I smile. The only two things I cant live without. Peeta and food. Just kidding! Just food. Kidding again.
Laughing to myself at my own joke I kiss Peeta on the cheek and scoop up some eggs and bacon.

About to walk on the stage, the wind blowing my gown around, I suddenly get an uneasy feeling. I wont see anyone I know out there. Not my *old* mom not my dad and not Prim. They should all be here on this day with me.
However, when I walk across the stage, they are. They're with me when Im handed my letter and when they read the pre written card. I look over to see Prims smiling face and mom and dad holding hands, wiping away tears with smiles on their faces. They're proud of me.
"I love you" I whisper.
When I get to the end of the stage they've gone.
I disappear into the crowd and after a couple people my handsome man walks out. I clap and cheer, and watch as he trys to find my eyes; making sure im okay.
When he finds them he can clearly see im more then okay.
He comes off the stage and straight into my arms. I laugh as he spins me around before kissing me with so much passion my knees start to buckle.
"I love you I love you" He whispers over and over. I silence him with a kiss.

"I love you" I say with a big goofy smile.
He kisses my nose.
"Congratulations to the graduates of 2015! We hope the world treats you well!" The principal suddenly booms over the mic. All at once, 226 people throw their caps up into the air.

Sitting around a table, laughing with my best friends, I realize I can be happy again. I also realize that you cant experience the best happiness unless you've experienced the worst pain.
If you're ever stuck and you feel like life will never get better, please give life a chance to catch up. It may take two years, two months, or two days, but stick around long enough to see it. Im glad I did.
After our food comes the table is silent for a moment.
As usual, Finnick breaks the silence.
"This is bloody delicious".
"Way to ruin the moment", Johanna glares at fin, but her eyes smile.
"Shhh im in food heaven" Annie says, clearly enjoying her salmon.
I take a bite of my seafood pasta and see what they mean. Flavors explode in my mouth. A small moan slips out and the table looks at me before laughing their heads of.
"Dont think anything's ever made Kat do that!" Finnick laughs.
"Well actually..." he says and wiggles his eyebrows at Peeta.
I almost spit out my water before everyone starts laughing. I slap his arm before joining in on the laughing. .
.
The rest of the night is filled with joy and laughter.
When the night ends and were all standing at the door, things get a little more serious. And sad. Almost all of us are going off to university soon. Finnick and Annie are going to study marine biology, Johanna wants to be a logger, Peeta is taking on the family bakery when his parents retire, and im stuck here, still not knowing what to do with my life.

We have our hugs, say our goodbyes, and some tears are shed. We all agree to get together over Christmas break if not sometime sooner.
Annie and Finnick drive off, Johanna too, and peeta and I get into his car.
I watch my friends drive away and wonder what our future holds. But for the first time, I'm ready to find out.
