《Unknown》One: The Not So Famous Sugg

I'm Ali.

You may know of my siblings, Joe and Zoe Sugg.

Yes you read correctly, no need to double check I'm not lying.

For those who may be confused, yes there is another Sugg in the family, no I'm not talking about Nala or Alan as Joe likes to call her.

I'm just me, Ali, a girl who didn't want to follow in her sibling's footsteps, instead I chose to help in other ways. Sometimes, when I am with them I can help film, edit if needed and just enjoy watching them laugh at me behind the camera. I have my own life, one that is outside of the internet that I stray from. Living in a different city, Exmoor, where I work at the zoo.

Yet, you may be wondering why I'm never seen, nor mentioned or heard of in my siblings vlogs or videos or social media, it was my choice as I'm not like my siblings, I'm a bit different. By different I mean I am adopted. Short blonde hair and green eyes, along with an incapability to get that golden tan like they do, instead I simply fry.

When I was adopted I was only a baby, my siblings only two and three at the time. I barely remember it, what life was like before since I was only a few months old. Growing up we were never kept in the dark, it wasn't some dark secret I could never know about. Instead it was something I accepted, never questioned otherwise as all I knew is that my birth parents had died. When I was growing up I wondered what it could be like, growing up as someone other than Ali Sugg.

Except, with a name like Sugg in 2016 isn't easy. I was never big on social media, but Zoe convinced me to try. Try being key as it was shortly lived due to the bombardment and harrassment of fans accusing me to be a fake, a stalker, worthless. I tried to block it out, just like I had been told, but sometimes it gets to that destructive point, one where you just do as they ask; quit. Even today, I haven't tried again under a new alias, instead I just keep off of it all together.

Today is the day that I get to visit Zoe after a few months of dealing with certain things I'm ready to go visit. I'll be staying at Zoe's place, her new place with Alfie, which is just one of those things I have to deal with. Alfie has known about me since they first met, thankfully he was willing to keep it a secret after discovering me in my room by accident, mistaking it for the bathroom.

Even after all of this time, three people who are friends with my siblings, that is YouTube friends know who I am, and I'd quite like to keep it that way. The thought of meeting everyone is too much for my brain to comprehend, the concept of there being another Sugg in the family will only cause more drama, rumours and unnecessary news to spread. To me, it's best to stay off camera, with my last name remaining unknown online.

Attempting to lift my incredibly packed suitcase down the stairs I end up half dragging it down into the hallway, taking a minute to just catch my breath and compose myself. As I glance into the living room Jess sits there, too focused on Pretty Little Liars to notice the calamity going on in the background. "Well, I'll see you in a week Jess. Don't burn the place down." I yell to her causing her to snap out of it.

I can hear a rummage as she walks out, pushing her brunette locks into a ponytail and giving me a quick hug. "Safe drive, also Haleb is about to happen so I gotta go." She mutters behind me as she pulls away, back to her main focus whilst I head down the two flights of stairs to our building's front door and straight to my car.

Once I get to my car I pull out my phone, giving Zoe a ring to just let her know. Whilst I wait in the absence of her voice I use all my might to get my suitcase into the boot, only to see the car dip at the excessive weight. "Hi this is Zoe, leave a message!" Her overly chirpy phone voice makes me groan, I sigh and await the irritating beep.

"Zoe, it's Ali. Just to let you know I'm leaving now. Should be there before the sun goes down, well here's hoping anyway." Hanging up I walk to my door, starting the car up and leaving my little home to only go to another filled with love and lies.

This should be an interesting week.
