《The Untold Truth (Kakashi's Little Brother) *COMPLETED*》Chapter 12: A New Power

"Get up." a familiar grungy voice said.
I opened my eyes to see none other than Madara standing next to my bed. I sighed at his presence and slowly got out of my bed. I was still in pain from the beatings.
"Put your cloak on, I need you to retrieve a heavily guarded sword for me." he said.
"Why not get Maasaki to do it? Being around me, he is able to slip through." I said.
"Because, this is a sword for you."
"Explain." I asked suspiciously.
"This sword can only be wielded by your mother's clan. Anyone else who touches it, will be severely wounded by that sword." he explained.
I sighed. "Alright..."
"Remember, failure is an option."
Madara disappeared through his eye as I groggily put my cloak on. I was walking a bit slow due to my back pain, but I to do this stupid mission. I opened my door as I made my way down the hall. By now I probably look sick. I didn't look like I was walking, I would sway or look hunched over. Why can't I recover first?! This man is going to be the end of me!
"Satoshi!"
I turned my head slightly behind me to see a worried Maasaki.
"You're suppose to be resting, remember?" he said.
"I'm fine."
I continued to walk as I held my side with my left arm in pain.
"You're not fine! You need to be in bed!"
"I have a mission to do, so go away Maasaki." I grunted.
"A mission?! Why would Leader give you a mission in this condition!" he shouted.
"Quiet, I already told you I'm fine. I'll finish this mission quickly."
"Well, I'm coming with you then." he stated.
"No, this is something I have to-"
"I'm coming with you whether you like it or not, so let's go!" he said happily.
I sighed and continued to walk. Seeing that I was struggling a bit, Maasaki wrapped my arm around him. I blushed in embarrassment, I don't need his help..
"So where are we going Satoshi?" he asked.
"To the outskirts of the Okada clan." I said.
"Why are we going there? That clan has been extinct for years." he said.
"There's a weapon I need to retrieve from there."
"The Purazuma Sword? I heard that thing would be a part of your soul. Why would you need that? You won't even he able to get it, only an Okada member can fuse with it." he said.
"Hn, you're looking at one."
"Eh?! No way!" he shouted.
"How do you think I'm able to attack my opponents so quickly, Maasaki?" I said.
"I just thought you were a taijutsu fanatic."
"Really?" I said in disbelief. "Forget it, let's keep going... I just want to get this over with."
"I don't see why we have to help guard this.." Naruto whined. "They have enough people as it is!"
"Quiet Naruto! They asked help for a reason!" Sakura shouted.
"But there's so many of them! They're all just protecting one item!"
"It's a special item, Naruto." I said.
"How so?" he asked.
"This sword is from my mother's clan. Only those from the Okada clan may inherent it. However, it is the sword's decision on who it's wielder will be." I said.

"What's the sword called again?" he asked.
"It is called the Purazuma Sword. It gets its name due to its transparent appearance. It also links to their wielder allowing them to summon when needed. This sword is no joke Naruto, this sword can cut anything with ease and will increase in power with every soul it devours." I explained.
"So it gains more power?" Sakura asked.
"Precisely, with more power, it gains different stages of power. I don't know what powers it gains when it gets more powerful... but it's dangerous, so that is why we must help protect it." I said.
"But it's so bori-"
"AHH!"
The three of us stood up at the sound of screaming when Gai shouted.
"Kakashi! It's the Akatsuki!"
The three of us ran towards Gai and his team ready to assist him. We stood by them and saw a familiar blue haired boy killing the guards with ease. I looked towards the ground and Satoshi was propped up against a rock sitting.
'Why is he just sitting there?'
"Water Release: Water Dragon Jutsu!"
"MOVE!" I shouted.
A giant water dragon emerged from his earlier water that fell onto the ground. It gave a hearty roar as it flew everywhere to attack those in its path. The water was filling with blood turning the once purified water to red.
"Satoshi, look! It's your old team over there!" he shouted happily.
"Like I care..." he mumbled.
The one named Maasaki softened his gaze at Satoshi. "I think coming here while you're like this was a bad-"
"Urusai... I can do it."
Satoshi held onto the rock and slowly rose from his spot.
"But-"
"Do the jutsu already, I don't have time for your motherly nature." Satoshi snapped.
"So bossy.." Maasaki mumbled. "Water Release: Black Rain Jutsu!"
Just then a cloud appeared, as it began to rain... oil? Oh no..
"Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet!"
Satoshi inhaled a large amount of air as an immense fire came from three different directions.
"We have to save them!" Naruto shouted.
"No! Don't touch them!" I said, grabbing Naruto's shoulder.
"BUT THEY'LL DIE IF WE-"
"I know, but if you have that oil on you, Satoshi will most likely try to burn you as well." I said.
Naruto clenched his fists as we heard the screams of the guards being burnt to a crisp. The flames were so hot... it turned a bit white. The people who were caught in it turned into mere ashes.
"Satoshi, you're so strong!" Maasaki said with sparkling eyes.
"Whatever... Maasaki, you handle the rest of them. I'll handle my brother." Satoshi said.
"You sure?"
Satoshi nodded as he turned his way towards me.
"Let's have some fun... brother."
Satoshi began to jump away from the scene trying to lure me away. I debated to see if I should go or not... but the feeling in my heart told me to go. I followed after Satoshi and he stopped in a cleared out earthy ground. However, when he stopped, he knelt down and gripped his back. I heard him breathe heavily and stood back up.
"What's wrong with your back Satoshi?" I asked.
"Nothing that you should worry about."

I eyed him as he stayed impassive. I got into a fighting stance, but Satoshi seemed like he wouldn't even be able to handle another jutsu. He stood a bit wobbly and his breathing seemed a bit uneven. He took one step towards me, however, he collapsed onto his knee. He was kneeling in pain, making him pant loudly.
"Satoshi, what's wrong?" I asked concerned.
"Idiot... you're not suppose to be concerned about your enemy." he huffed.
"You're my little brother, of course I would be concerned. Enemy or not, I worry about you." I said.
Satoshi gritted his teeth as he fully collapsed onto the ground.
"Satoshi!"
I began to walk towards him, but he threw a kunai by my feet.
"Don't come near me..." he mumbled.
He tried to get up slowly using his forearms, but even that gave him great pain. Unable to see him suffer like this, I ran towards him and took off his cloak.
"S-Stop! We're enemies! You're not suppose to help me!" he shouted.
I ignore him as I removed his shirt and when I did so... I was very surprised on what I had seen. Satoshi was bandaged up, but his back was bleeding heavily.
"You need to change your bandage Satoshi." I said.
"I'll change it when I get back, now get your hands off of me!" he said pushing me away
I held both his wrists in one hand as I used the other to unwrap the bandages. It was all drenched in blood as it clung onto his skin. My eyes widened at the sight of his back when I fully unwrapped it. There were many scars of what seems to be a whip. There were so many wounds that I don't think I saw any of his pale skin anymore.
"Who did this to you?" I said, barely above a whisper.
"I've been on many missions, sometimes I like to test my strength on others without my eyes. These are the scars of ." he said.
"You'll die if you keep doing that..." I said, getting a bit teary eyed.
'You're lying Satoshi...'
"I don't care."
"But I care... why can't you just come home Satoshi? You don't have to keep running. Whatever happened in the village, we can help you with it." I said.
"Nothing happened in the village... it was my decision." he said.
"I don't understand why you would choose to go to the Akatsuki."
"They chose to create peace in the end... this world will finally bear no hatred." he said.
"Yet you kill those who stand in your way."
"Sacrifices are to be made to create the world we need."
"You're insane..." I said.
"That may be true.. but that world exist."
Satoshi then activated his eyes and my vision became hazy. He had hit me on my pressure point... but before I blacked out, I could have sworn I heard him say something. What did you say... brother?
I deactivated my eyes and laid my brother behind a rock so he wouldn't get in the way. I grabbed my cloak and shirt and made my way over to where I had last left Masaaki.
"WOO! I'M ON A ROLL!"
'This idiot...'
Maasaki was sitting on a pile of bodies making me look for the people I once called comrades. I hope he didn't kill them!
"If you're looking for those Leaf shinobi's, I left them unconscious." he said.
"Alright, let's get the sword then."
"Wait! What happened to your bandage?" he asked.
"It was falling off so I ripped it off." I lied.
"Well, let me put on a new bandage for you."
He began to take a roll of bandages out of his sleeve making wonder how it managed to not fall out. I decided not to think about it before I hurt my brain. He wrapped my torso carefully and tucked in the remaining bandage.
"It's not the best, but it'll have to do. Remind me to tell Konan to clean your wounds when we get back."
"Let's go."
We walked into a cave on the side of a mountain and there was an altar in the middle of the room. There was a colorful orb sitting on top of it.
"Where's the sword?" Maasaki asked.
"I... I think that the sword." I said a bit unsure.
I walked up to it to take a closer look at this weird orb. It looked as if it was light infused with jello. I brought my hand closer to it to feel its texture, but it did something that made me jump. The orb immediately ran towards my hand and a weird light began to glow around me. I was beginning to freak out! Madara never told me about this!
I felt the power in me and it felt as if it were burning! I screamed in agony as the pain increased. I suddenly stopped screaming and I felt frozen. My eyes... MY ! Something is wrong with them! It feels like they were being clouded with a layer of mist! I tried to speak, but all you heard were my choking ofwords.
"Satoshi? Are you alright? Hey! Satoshi!"
Maasaki tried to come over to me with his arms blocking the bright light emitting from my body. However, the light bounced Maasaki away from me in a fast rate. Masaaki hit the wall and groaned in pain.
a voice said in my head.
'W-Who are you?' I asked.
'Why the hell are you in my body?!'
'That is because our clan is close to extinction.'
'I.... I want to protect my brother, and my comrades. However, they must not know that I am helping them.'
'It is a duty from my village... and I will protect that village, even if it costs my life.'
The light stopped and I was able to control my body. I hurriedly felt my body to see if this was real. What the hell had I even witnessed?!
"Oh yeah, don't worry about me Satoshi! I'm fiiiine!" Maasaki said sarcastically.
"I forgot you were here." I retorted.
"So mean..."
"Come.. let's get out of here, my back is killing me." I said.
"My entire body is spinning!" he pouted. "And you don't care even in the slightest!"
"Let me rephrase that, let's go Maasaki, before I give you a reason to whine about." I threatened.
"Wow! I feel like my body is feeling better already! Let's go Satoshi!" he said happily.
He then grabbed my hand and dragged me with him.
"MAASAKI!"

Fragments from the Wildlands
“Your first death is always the hardest.” Miguela was the third-born child of a well-off merchant family and knew from around the time she could speak that her life’s path was already decided. She was to become an Orator, as was Xandran tradition. However, Miguela had an affinity with the magikal arts and somehow found herself studying at the Academy. She did just enough to keep up with her studies but never found the motivation to apply herself and “reach her potential,” as her instructors often said. It was not that Miguela was uninterested in the arts. Rather, she knew her time at the Academy ultimately did not matter. Whenever Miguela returned home, she would become an Orator, and that would be that. Or so she believed until, one day, an opportunity appeared that would change her life. Miguela was offered the chance to join a research team tasked with a mission of the utmost importance to the future of the Five Kingdoms. She could not turn down the prospect of regaining control of her life and finally finding a purpose for herself. Of course, Miguela might soon discover that offers that appear too good to be true are usually fraught with lies. Welcome to Five Kingdoms of Cordizal! Question: What is the Five Kingdoms of Cordizal? I often get asked this type of question about my stories by friends, bloggers, and potential readers. The Five Kingdoms of Cordizal is a high-fantasy epic universe that is the setting for most of my stories. The foundation of the universe is its multicultural, multiracial setting with several sentient races attempting to carve their legacy and survive. The world is fully fleshed out and vibrant with a rich and mysterious history not based on Tolkien mythology. This brings me to magic. To me, magic is an essential part of the fantasy genre, so, of course, there is magic in the Five Kingdoms universe. However, one critical part of the Five Kingdoms universe is that magic is an abundant commodity that is a part of everyday life and not some plot device used to drive the story. In short, the Five Kingdoms universe is the setting of epic fantasy stories with deep characters and world-building. I try to tell as many different types of stories as possible in the universe, and hopefully, you can find something for you in it.
