《Kakashi The Hunter》Part X Twenty-One

I wish I could explain how I got into this situation better than this, but there really isn't another way.
Heavens Arena. As one of the tallest towers in the world, it absolutely dwarfs Trick Tower from the Hunter Exam. Both have very unnecessary life or death risks. There is a very key difference between the two, however, you start at the top of Trick Tower and make your way down, but in Heavens Arena, you make your way up.
It's very similar to the ninja world, but oh so different at the same time.
At the bottom are the weakest and the beginners. They fight and based on their skill level, they rise through the floors. With a total of 250 floors, they have a long way to go.
It's been my residence for a few weeks now. I've flown through the ranks enough to gain just a bit of attention. It's not what I envisioned when I said I'd have to train and earn money, but so far it's hit all of the boxes. Usually I stick to three or four fights a week. The pay is good enough to last that long.
Soon I'll need a different method of money, I've almost reached the 200th floor, but I will get to use weapons and chakra soon. Not that I've been obeying that rule, it's just that most competitors cannot see the chakra.
I might have to put my Hunters license to good use and get a few well paying jobs. It will do me no good if I don't make a name for myself in the Hunter community. It's the opposite of what I meant when I wanted to stay under the radar, but I believe I'm good enough to 'disappear' if need be.
So far it's been nice, their accommodations were more than satisfactory and I could leave whenever I wanted to. It all seemed like something the Jonins back in the Leaf could set up for fun.

Best not to think of them. I might start to grieve and that would not be good for my sanity streak.
I like walking the halls of the upper floors, especially when people try to scare me into fighting them. It hasn't worked, so far I've just stared at them until they leave me alone. I'm working on my image of a creep. It's always fun to try out new personalities on people you'll never see again.
I'm not allowed above floor 200, the woman manning the desk has made that apparent. Unfortunately I'll probably never become a floor master. I'll be too busy with everything else to worry about having a fight once a month.
I did happen to meet two people who weren't trying to do anything against me. They probably talk to every fighter who makes it above the 100th floor but they're both nice enough. Wing and Zushi (very odd names honestly). Zushi; a literal child, and Wing; his mentor.
Zushi is a mixture of what Konohamaru and Rock Lee would act like. It's concerning how much I compare people here to people back home. I just hope I never meet anyone too similar to the Akatsuki , or Madara.
As I continue my stroll down long carpeted hallways, my 'phone' buzzed in my pocket.
Wing had me purchase one so he could contact me if he ever needed anything.
The message was a simple one, nothing more than three words.
Can you help?
Did I have anything to do? No. Did I know where he was? No. Was I going to help? Yes, because I'm not that bad of a person.
I replied asking his whereabouts and he sent an address. Zushi had done well to show me how to pull up a map and enter a place to go, so using that information I added the address and made my way down the tower.

It was simple to walk down the side of the building through my window. Why wait in the slow elevator when I could sprint down the wall? The house wasn't too far away, considering you could see it from my rooms window.
It was a quaint little two story building, just a normal house that you'd find anywhere else. Without knocking I opened the door and made my way inside.
"Wing? Where are you?"
There was a loud bang from upstairs, I ran before I knew what was happening. When I got to the top, there stood Wing in all his glory with his fist to a wall that looked as if Tsunade herself came to destroy it. Yet another person who uses their personal energy to make themselves super strong.
And beside him, Gon and Killua stood looking at me with wide eyes. "KAKASHI!" Both boys threw themselves at me with a hug. I allowed it, it had been a long time without any communication between us.
"Hi there, what have you two been doing?" Gon pulled away from me and began hopping in excitement. "We save Killua from his awful family and decided we needed money!" Killua nodded along, "So I decided we could come back here. Last time I was here was when I was six, but I stopped on floor 199." I nodded along, sounds like when I was six and became a Chunin.
Zushi perked up from his place beside Wing. "You know them mister Kakashi?" Wing looked from the boys to me and back again, thoughtful. "Sure do, we worked together during the Hunter Exam." Wing cleared his throat. "That's right, what did you need help with exactly?"
Wing looked at us for another few second before straightening his posture and pushing his glasses up. "I wanted you to help me train these boys to unlock their Nen. But, it seems...you're already familiar with each other?" Killua and Gon nodded with enthusiasm.
"Very well then. Kakashi, they're on the same floor as you and are planning on moving forward. They have until midnight to check into their rooms, but they can't get there yet. Someone is blocking it with Nen."
Killua became serious and looked up at me, "It's Hisoka."
My eyes widened. How long had we been in the same place? I guess even though I still fight I've lost the finesse of my sensing ability. I'll have to work on that soon.
"Wing, how are you going to go about this?"
He looked at me again, shirt untucked yet again. "I was going to forcefully open their Aura Nodes but it's extremely dangerous, I need you to stop it if they can't. I know you don't have any Nen, Kakashi, but you do have something and I believe you can use it to stop them from draining themselves of their life energy."
What he described sounds exactly like when Guy used his Eight Gates.
"And why can't you do it the way you are with Zushi?" Wing sighed, "That takes months, years even. We barely have hours. It's the only way to do it if Killua has a chance of staying at Heavens Arena." I sigh, then there's only one chance for this to work.
"I'll try, but I have full confidence that these two will get it first try." I sat a hand on each of their heads.
"They will go beyond what you think them capable."

8 120Casa do Diaño: The Fool
As Thomas Hobbes once said, "Humans are driven by a perpetual and restless desire for power." Given the heavily moral standards society has placed on its inhabitants for centuries, it's no wonder many people deny their internal need to be in control of something. "Oh, we do not want to rule the world at all! We just want to live happy and die happy!" Of course, the irony there is that, by wanting a happy future, you are actually projecting your own desires and opinions into what the world should be like. Hence your inner monarch banging his/her scepter for all their subjects to hear. Though to be fair, this is a pretty small, small example. Why settle for small? Why not go the extra mile and become that vicious monarch pounding his scepter at his feet? This is the story of a young man by the name of Genghis Dillinger Boy. There are quite a few words that can describe Genghis. Anarchist. Libertine. Criminal. Psychopath. He has denied the moral standards society has set for him and constantly lives his life seeking more and more power. Once an unexpected turn occurs in his life, he uses it as an excuse to burn his bridges and move him and his bride to a mysterious island known as Casa do Diaño. Genghis vows to burn the old world to the ground and watch as his brand new world arises from the ashes. But what if he's biting off more than he can chew? After all, monsters like Genghis are not the only kind of monsters lurking in the House of the Devil...
