"Are you sure you're okay? I said go on a date with me."
This is the third time those words ring through your ears and somehow you still can't manage to comprehend them.
You stare into Jimin's cute eye smile, watching as his brows raise up expectantly as you stutter.
"A-A date?"
He snorts, rocking back on his heels, hands casually shoving into his jean pockets. "Yes, a date. I mean, I don't really know why you're acting confused after what happened the other day," his ending wink heats up your face and you sigh, letting your tired form slump back into the lockers of the vacant hall.
You've spent whatever energy you had left from the long school day to wait for Jungkook, thirty minutes gradually starting to feel more like hours, and you can't help but to grow impatient after taking to heart his promise to meet with you here after class to get some food. As your head shifts from side to side like a meerkat your hopes slowly begin to dissipate.
Maybe he forgot... but that doesn't seem like him at all.
Jimin takes advantage of the way your thoughts cloud your mind, taking a few steps closer until his hands are suddenly pressed on either side of your head against the lockers.
He leans in, "You seem distracted," his minty breath blows in your face and you try not to stare down at his plump lips, that alluring smirk. "Am I not enough for you?"
He smells like a mixture of citrus and mens soap, the scent inviting, enticing as you find yourself getting lost in his eyes for a moment longer than you wish.
"It's not that-- it's just... " You're not sure how to finish, how to tell him that Jungkook has a hold of your heart, grasping on so tight you're not sure if you can take it back.

His jaw flexes, conflict beginning to swirl behind chocolate brown eyes. "Why are you waiting for someone like him, huh? When will you realize you can do so much better?"
His provoking words finally cause you to break eye contact, training to the floor, the walls, anywhere but him. "What kind of stupid question is that?"
Jimin scoffs, head tilting back to glare into the fluorescent lights. "You really want to mess with me, don't you?" Before you can protest his arm is already wrapping around your waist, pulling you flush against his well built body in one swift motion. Light headed and wobbly in his arms you can only try to hold yourself upright, gripping his biceps for dear life as he glides his tongue across his lower lip. "Want to know what happens when you push me over the edge, Y/N?"
Do I?
Maybe a little, but he can't know that.
You squirm, embarrassment bubbling to the surface as he holds your figure in place without much effort. As much as you want him to let go a part of you wishes he would pull you closer, hold you tighter and that bothers you even more. Your thoughts swirl around those moments back at your apartment, the way he held you forcefully but gentle at the same time as his lips glided against yours, his low moans, the way he tasted.
You're attracted to everything about him and you're not sure if you should hate or accept it.
"Let me-- urgh-- get this straight, Park Jimin─ " You try to speak while struggling against his tight embrace.
He chuckles but you keep an unamused sneer while craning your head away from his just in case he tries to kiss you again; you know you would lose yourself, give in to him in a heart beat. "You force me into that stupid bet to date someone else when in fact you're actually the one who wants to date me?!"

Jimin seems a bit caught off guard, lips quickly pursing together to sort his thoughts before he answers. "First of all I didn't force you to do anything," you roll your eyes but his annoying smirk doesn't return as you expected it too, instead his lips turn down into a deep frown before continuing.
"I honestly didn't think you would take the bet so seriously, I was just teasing you. I knew it was a problem when Taehyung even noticed how much you changed, how hard you were trying to win. That's when I realized I made a mistake. I don't want you to be with Jungkook, especially after getting to know you."
His fingers delicately wrap a strand of your hair, carefully twisting it before tucking it softly behind your ear. "Y/N," your name purrs from his lips. "I meant what I said the other night, I want you to be with me," you gulp, looking up at Jimin as his mouth finally tilts up into that small familiar smile.
Could I be with him?
All of this is happening too fast and you can't keep up. You're waiting for someone already, but how long can you wait? On the other hand you have someone waiting right here, feelings already established, heart thrown out into the open for you to either pick up or run over.
Can I return those feelings? Can I learn to love Jimin the same way I love Jungkook? How am I supposed to even make these decisions when I don't know the true meaning of love myself?!
The buzzing of your cell phone drags you back into reality and Jimin finally drops his arm to let you check the screen.
You can't stop the irritating scrunch of your face, the heavy sigh that leaves when you check the caller ID. "You're late," is the first thing you say when answer, voice laced in frustration.
"I know, I'm sorry. Look... I completely forgot that I have another study session-- don't hang up!" Your finger hovers over the 'end call' button.
He knows me too well...
"Why didn't you tell me-- oh I don't know-- about forty minutes ago?!" You can feel Jimin's intense gaze planted on your face, trying to get your attention but you ignore him, keeping your eyes set out the window behind him instead.
"I swear I'll make it up to you!"
"Damn right you will," you grumble, small pout starting to form as you fight against the urge to mentally shut down.
"I'm sorry, I'm the worst friend in the world."
And the worst person to catch feelings for...
You sigh, rolling your eyes even though he can't see it. "Whatever, see you at home."
You hang up before Jungkook can get another word in.
"Knight in shining armor gone AWOL, huh?" You want to slap the annoying grin on Jimin's face but restrain yourself, instead taking his hand into your own.
You begin to stomp down the hall towards the front entrance of the university.
"What's going on?" Jimin asks, letting you drag him down the front steps.
"I'll take you up on your offer, I'll go on a date with you."

8 77Dark Lands: The Exile and the Prince
A short time has passed since the siege on Ruined Home has been lifted and as the survivors of the battered encampment slowly begin to rebuild their new home, Aurelius has returned from a failed troll hunt. Yet despite the battered prince’s failures, he has set into motion a series of events that will forever change his life. Meanwhile, Iskra has found herself at the helm of a far more favorable position and begins to forge a path that will lead her towards the first steps of a long road of revenge. Author’s Note: This is the direct sequel to the first Dark Lands story and as time goes on I will update the synopsis to help bring further detail about the story. For now however, I hope you all enjoy what is about to be written. Eight Years Arc: Eight Years have passed since Aurelius and Iskra have first met one another, and a lot has changed since then. The vast majority of Aurelius’ family has been slaughtered by the hands of none other than his oldest brother, a man that the golden haired prince had spent the past several years to hunt down and kill all in the name of vengeance. Upon his return, the kin-slaying prince has found that some things have changed during his absence. Iskra, his first wife and love of his life, has proclaimed that she no longer cares about the events that have been unfolding in her former homeland for the last several years and states that she is solely focused on raising her children. Yet it is through learning that the High Elves have taken a keen interest in the once magically-absent lands of Ranislava that Aurelius decides that action must be taken and thus he journeys south to learn more about what his distant kin are up to in such a backwater region of the world. Who he will meet and what he will do will turn the tides of fate, but in whose favor is something that only the Gods will know. (The Eight Years arc is something that was designed to be written in a way where people don't have to feel the need to go back to the very beginning of the Dark Lands story in order to know what is going on or who the characters are.)

Two people live in two different worlds. One lives in a humble city that surrounds a tall artificial mountain. The other lives in a perfect city atop that mountain. From a young age, they have been taught that the other side was dangerous. For a young man, he was told they were synthetic monsters on top of the mountain. For a young woman, she was told dangerous beasts surrounded the mountain. When their paths cross, they will find that they both call themselves human, and they will learn to get along, even if their worlds reject them for it.
8 134Uneasy Dreams
A collection of short stories, probably macabre in nature, and hopefully cathartic to read. There is no connecting thread tying them together, so feel free to skip around and read whatever sounds interesting. Also, each one is named after the song I happened to be listening to when I came up with them.

8 175His Trophy | Jerome Valeska
"Oh and Jim, Jim Gordon?" Jerome peered into the camera as if to yell out to an audience: "I have Rory here," he turned the camera towards Jim's daughter and revealed to the audience a girl that had been beaten and tormented, she was gaged and her eyes didn't look at the camera but above the lens; at Jerome who was holding the camera."Say hi to Daddy, doll face," he jeered from behind the camera. She looked down the lens and shook her head as if to tell Jim not to try. The camera went back to Jerome."She's a beauty isn't she, Jimbo," Jerome smirked into the camera, his laughter becoming harsh and wild: "and she's all mine, you try anything, and I mean anything, I kill her. She's my prisoner, my reward, and you're not taking her away from me Jimmy boy, on no, not this time" his words were spoken through waves of laughter.***Rory Gordan is the stepdaughter of Jim Gordon. Her mother moved a lot so Rory was born in Gotham City but raised in England and from the age of 10 she had been bouncing from one country to another with her mother. However, when she turned 17 she had grown tired of the constant change of moving and decided to move to America. It was when she was visiting her long term boyfriend when her life got flipped upside down, not only did she meet one of the craziest boys on the planet, but she discovered that she had a gift that would curse her forever. This story is a collection of scenes rather than a flowing plot, so its chronological but it skips scenes and jumps back and forth between different perspectives. The story is under editing, so it'll get more cohesive over time.••• I do not own any characters or plot lines from the tv show. However, all original characters like Rory do belong to me.Total Word Count [33,674]
